Iranian FM condemns Zionist aggression on Yemen

Saba Yemen4 days ago

Tehran - Saba:
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the new Zionist aggression targeting Sana'a International Airport and the destruction of a Yemenia passenger plane, describing it as "a new indication of the Zionist regime's barbarism and hostility toward the Muslim Yemeni people and the region."
In a statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei described the Zionist regime's aggression during the Hajj season, aimed at preventing Yemeni pilgrims from reaching the holy lands and participating in the Hajj rituals, as a major crime. He called for immediate and serious action by international organizations, especially the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), regarding this situation.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman pointed to the Zionist regime's repeated attacks on Yemen's economic infrastructure and civilian facilities, including ports, airports, food warehouses, and the like.
He dubbed these attacks as a clear example of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
He added that the Zionist regime's brutal aggression toward the Muslim peoples of West Asia is clear evidence of its structural and fundamental disconnection from the peoples of the region, and its leaders' efforts to spread wars and insecurity in the region and the world.
Baghaei highlighted the legal and moral responsibility of all countries in the region and the world to confront the Zionist entity's violations of the law and its crimes in occupied Palestine and against other countries in the region.
Baghaei stressed that the Zionist entity's impunity, due to the inaction of the United Nations Security Council and the comprehensive American support for this entity, has led to irreversible consequences for the system based on the UN Charter and has jeopardized international peace and security in an unprecedented manner, requiring urgent action from the international community.

Zionist Forces storm Arraba South of Jenin, town of Turmus'ayya

Jenin - SABA: Zionist enemy forces stormed the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, on Sunday evening. According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), local sources reported that an enemy infantry unit entered the town from the "Dotan" military checkpoint, deployed in its streets, and raided a home while conducting searches. Enemy drones were also spotted hovering in the area. It is worth noting that the enemy has intensified incursions into towns and villages in Jenin Governorate since the start of its aggression on the city and its camp on January 21. In a separate incident, enemy forces also stormed the town of Turmus'ayya, northeast of Ramallah, on Sunday evening. Local sources indicated that the forces deployed in the town center, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles, though no arrests or further raids were reported. Hamas welcomes continued Qatari-Egyptian efforts to end aggression on Gaza

Gaza – SABA The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has welcomed the ongoing Qatari and Egyptian efforts to reach an agreement ending the Zionist enemy's war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. In a press statement on Sunday evening, the movement affirmed its readiness to immediately engage in indirect negotiations to resolve disputed points, ensuring relief for Palestinians, an end to the humanitarian catastrophe, and ultimately a permanent ceasefire and full withdrawal of enemy forces. Earlier on Sunday, Egypt and Qatar announced the continuation of their intensive efforts to bridge gaps and overcome sticking points in negotiations for a Gaza ceasefire agreement. Government Media Office: "Zionist Enemy circulates fabricated video to cover up Rafah Massacre"

Gaza - SABA The Government Media Office in Gaza stated on Sunday that the Zionist enemy army's release of a "fabricated and misleading" video constitutes an attempt to cover up its massacre of civilians near so-called "Israeli-American humanitarian aid distribution centers" in Rafah city, which left 31 civilians martyred and 200 injured. In a press statement, the Office noted that "releasing the video over 15 hours after the massacre confirms it's part of a calculated media campaign to absolve the enemy," questioning: "If reconnaissance aircraft filmed the incident, why wasn't it released immediately?" The statement dismissed the enemy's claims about "local gunmen firing at crowds" as "blatant lies," contradicting survivor testimonies and field evidence confirming victims were hit by direct enemy gunfire in areas under full enemy control, with no crossfire. The Office revealed the published footage was filmed in eastern Khan Younis—not western Rafah where the massacre occurred—showing staged chaos involving "local gangs known for ties with the enemy" who looted aid and fired randomly to sow panic, creating pretexts for the enemy's subsequent shootings. The video's inclusion of "flour bags" exposes its fabrication, the statement added, as the purported "Israeli-American aid" contains no flour but consists of materials stolen from international organizations like the "Rahma" foundation. The statement further rejected enemy allegations about Hamas obstructing aid, stressing that for over 90 days, the enemy has systematically blocked aid flows, closed crossings, targeted trucks, and disrupted humanitarian coordination as part of its starvation and genocide policy. It recalled the enemy's repeated use of pre-edited fake footage to justify crimes, including recent claims about "armed militants" in UNRWA schools where all casualties were civilians. The Office concluded that the video cannot whitewash a documented crime—shooting starving civilians seeking sustenance—emphasizing that "Rafah massacres stand as evidence of mass murder no dark, fabricated video can erase." The enemy resumed its intensified aggression and siege on Gaza at dawn on March 18, 2025, violating a two-month ceasefire agreement effective since January 19. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
