From Nate's death at the hands of villain John Sugden to Kim Joe Tate's relationship with Dawn - some fans felt the storylines all had similiar issues.
One user wrote: "They aren't really building the character relationships to make it work.
"Like there was no burn in Dawn and Joe's relationship and there aren't really any other romances happening either."

Pace and change of direction in characters was also a bugbear, with one person saying: "It's frustrating, but I constantly feel the same way about every storyline now: 'Why does this matter?'

He met his first wife Thelma Riley in a Birmingham nightclub before they tied the knot and welcomed two biological children, Jessica, 53, and Louis, 50. Thelma was already a mother to five-year-old Elliot from a previous relationship when she met the lead singer. Ozzy would later adopt Elliot and raise him as his own. However, the three children don't have fond childhood memories with their daredevil dad. In a 2011 documentary (produced by Jack Osbourne), when Ozzy is asked about Louis and Jessica's birthdays, he fails to remember when each of them were born. In the same series, Louis revealed details about growing up with Ozzy: "When he was around and he wasn't [drunk], he was a great father. But that was kind of rare, really. He explained that he found a variety of factors have made the UK "not a nice place to live any more". The HGV driver and his wife Kim, 36, are moving with their children Noah, 10, and Molly, eight, in November. They said they want to break away from their monotonous routine and start a new life abroad, embracing the "beautiful scenery" and "incredible food" Thailand has to offer. "I feel like life is just flying by, you wake up on a Monday, you're fed up and you can't wait for the weekend – you're wishing the days away," Dale said. He added that the cost of living is continuing to rise while the UK streets are now "a state".
