Ravi Mohan's Rumoured GF Kenishaa Takes Legal Action Against 'Offenders' Over Rape Threats
Last Updated:
Kenishaa Francis recently revealed that she has been getting death threats and abusive messages on social media.
Kenishaa Francis has been in the spotlight amidst the ongoing social media conflict between actor Ravi Mohan and his estranged wife, Aarti Ravi. A few days ago, Aarti accused Kenishaa of being the 'third person' behind their separation. Since these accusations, Kenishaa has been subjected to abusive messages, rape threats, and death threats from various social media users. Responding to the online harassment and defamation, Kenishaa issued a legal notice on Sunday against those spreading false information about her alleged role in Ravi and Aarti's marital problems. The caption read, 'To All Offenders: Cease and Desist Notice from Keneeshaa's Legal Team."
The legal notice shared by Kenishaa states, 'The present issue stems from the aftermath of recent widespread media speculation and reportage concerning the private affairs of third parties-specifically arising from the public discourse surrounding the marital separation of a well-known actor. In this context, our client has become the unwarranted focal point of a concerted and intensifying pattern of public speculation, digital hostility, and reputational assault. This fabricated association has resulted in an orchestrated and escalating campaign of digital defamation, carried out through defamatory publications, unauthorised use of name and image, circulation of manipulated or sexually suggestive imagery, and the re-publication of false, offensive, and reputationally injurious statements."
'The misconduct further includes the receipt of rape threats, death threats, sexually explicit and obscene messages, and repeated acts of online stalking and tagging, all of which are calculated to provoke public outrage, cause psychological injury, and inflict deliberate reputational harm," the notice stated.
The legal notice highlighted that these actions constitute violations of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, including Section 75 (sexual harassment through unwelcome advances or sexually colored remarks), Section 351 (criminal intimidation), and Section 356 (defamation). It also mentioned breaches of multiple provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, such as Section 66E (violation of privacy), Section 67, and Section 67A (publication or transmission of obscene content in electronic form).
Additionally, the notice stated that Kenishaa has gathered all relevant evidence—including URLs, usernames, timestamps, screenshots, and metadata—secured through independently verifiable digital hashing and time-stamping protocols, which will be used in judicial, regulatory, and investigative proceedings.
A few days ago, Kenishaa mentioned that Ravi's fans have been accusing her of breaking his marriage and urged them to listen to her side of the story too. 'I'm not turning off my comments or running away. I have nothing to hide from no body. You have the right to question my actions but please come do it to my face and I'm happy to show each one of you and in public my side of the story and how one person's falsification is your truth. Please take me to court if you're confident that I'm even a catalyst to anything that is happening around me now. I beg you- take me to court! Do it rightfully!" she wrote.

Delhi HC to hear court staffer's plea seeking protection from arrest on June 11
The Delhi high court on Monday refused to immediately entertain a 38-year-old court staffer's plea seeking protection from arrest for allegedly taking bribes in return for facilitating bail. The case was registered by the Delhi government's Anti Corruption Branch (ACB). The accused was identified as Mukesh Kumar. A bench of justice Tejas Karia's refusal came after ACB's counsel sought additional time to place on record 'substantial piece of evidence' and Kumar's lawyer urged the court to direct ACB to not take coercive action until evidence was placed on record. ACB's standing counsel Sanjeev Bhandari also submitted that there was development in the probe and the latest status report filed by it also implicated Kumar's wife, who was also a court staffer. Considering the contention, justice Karia fixed June 11 as the next date to hear Kumar's anticipatory bail application and directed ACB to file an additional status report till Tuesday. The court said that the material would have an impact on the pre-arrest bail. 'This application (anticipatory bail application) has been pending since May 23. There is no interim protection. For anticipatory bail, we will also have to look into the material (filed by ACB). We will hear you (Kumar) day after tomorrow, no further adjournment,' justice Karia remarked. 'List on June 11. In the meanwhile, Mr Sanjay Bhandari, additional standing counsel for ACB shall place on record an additional status report indicating the additional material by tomorrow,' the court said in its order. ACB in January this year had written to the law secretary of the Delhi government seeking permission to prosecute a special judge of the Rouse Avenue court and Kumar after complaints were received that the judge would demand bribes to grant bails. Kumar, who worked in the same court, was accused of taking bribes on behalf of the judge. This request was forwarded to the Delhi high court. However, the high court in February refused to grant sanction to prosecute the judge, citing insufficient evidence. ACB was given permission to continue with the probe and approach the court if they later find evidence indicating the judge's involvement. On May 16, ACB registered an FIR against Kumar under sections 7 (public servant being bribed) and 13 (criminal misconduct by a public servant) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and sections 61 (criminal conspiracy) and 308 (extortion) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Four days later, Delhi high court on May 20, had transferred the special judge of the Rouse Avenue court to North West district 'with immediate effect'. The judge was handling ACB cases pertaining to Goods and Services Tax evasion. The court was hearing two petitions filed by Kumar. One challenged a city court's May 22 order denying him anticipatory bail; the other sought quashing of the FIR and transfer of the probe to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Kumar alleged in his plea that the FIR was a 'counterblast' to judicial orders by the judge threatening contempt proceedings against ACB officials. He claimed that ACB, a principal litigant in several pending matters before the judge, had acted vindictively and that its officers had threatened him with dire consequences, prompting his earlier request for transfer. On May 27, the high court declined to grant immediate protection from arrest, citing the seriousness of the allegations. On June 6, ACB had told the high court that it had reconstituted a special team on June 3 to probe the case, a day after the high court asked ACB to consider replacing an officer against whom Kumar had earlier raised concerns.

7-year-old girl molested in north Delhi, accused held
New Delhi: A day after a nine-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered in northeast Delhi's Dayalpur, a seven-year-old girl was reportedly molested by a man in north Delhi's Subzi Mandi on Monday morning. The accused was beaten up by public before being handed over to police. He has been arrested. Police got to know about the assault when the young survivor came to Subzi Mandi police station with her mother. The mother told the cops that her daughter was playing outside their home around 9.30am when the alleged molestation took place. The child immediately confided in her mother, who alerted her husband. A PCR call was made, and the the girl and her mother came to the police station to report the crime. A case was registered under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. "He was thrashed by public for the act. He was known to the girl," an officer said. Police confirmed that the accused was arrested and in police custody. Further investigation into the matter is underway. This was not the first time that such an incident happened in the city. In May, two incidents of alleged sexual assault of minors were reported. A 35-year-old man was arrested in Dayalpur for the alleged sexual assault of a seven-year-old girl. In another incident, a 15-year-old girl in south Delhi was allegedly lured to the house of her neighbour, a schoolteacher, when she went out to buy a register and sexually assaulted. April saw two cases. A minor from Uttarakhand, visiting Delhi for a national-level sports event, was allegedly sexually assaulted and filmed by a group of boys at a water sports club in northwest Delhi while a five-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a van driver in north Delhi's Burari.

Ghaziabad: A 24-year-old man was shot dead and his 46-year-old mother critically injured after three men allegedly barged into their home in Dheda village on Sunday night and opened fire. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Police said the attack was the fallout of a long-standing enmity and monetary dispute between the youth and the accused. One of the accused was arrested on Monday and two others are on the run. Pankaj was shot four times and his mother, Guddi, twice. She remains under critical care at Yashoda Hospital. Police said the family had earlier been involved in a legal conflict with the accused. On Sunday night, the trio — Prashant alias Kabutar, Vicky, and Sunny Yadav — allegedly went to Pankaj's house with the intention to kill. "It was Prashant who fired upon him, after which they fled the spot," ACP (Masuri) Lipi Nagayach said. Teams were formed to trace the accused, and Sunny Yadav was arrested on Monday. "Sunny claimed he did not know Prashant was carrying a firearm or that he intended to kill anyone," police said. Pintu, the victim's father, said his wife and son were in the kitchen around 8.30pm when the accused entered and opened fire. "They threatened to kill the entire family while fleeing," he alleged. Police were informed about the incident around 9pm. "Our team reached the location, but the victims had already been taken to the hospital," Nagayach said. During interrogation, one of the accused, Sunny alias Anubhav, told police that he and his friends had ongoing disputes with Pankaj. "Around one and a half years ago, Pankaj had filed a case of assault against Sunny and his friend Prashant. Since then, they had developed enmity towards his family," said ACP Nagayach. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The ACP added that there was another altercation between the two parties on Saturday, in which Sunny sustained a head injury. "From that day onwards, Sunny and Prashant planned to take revenge," she said. Based on the complaint, police registered a case under sections 331(8) (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking), 351(3) (criminal intimidation involving threats of more serious harm), and 109(1) (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). After Pankaj's death during treatment, murder charges are being added. A manhunt is on to nab the other two accused.
