Jason Statham recreates Commonwealth Games dive on luxury family holiday
Jason Statham showed off his impressive diving skills 35 years on from his Commonwealth Games appearance. The Hollywood star, 57, recreated his dive while holidaying with his family in Positano, Italy.
He showed he still has it with his eye-catching leap from the lavish yacht he and his family were on. The 30ft leap showed Jason's top skills as he showed time hadn't passed him by in the art form.
The moment came 35 years after the Mechanic star represented his country at the Commonwealth Games in New Zealand. The 1990 performance saw Jason place in eighth for England in the 1-metre springboard with a score of 487.26 points.
In his 3-metre springboard and 10-metre platform attempts at the Games, he finished in 11th position.
In his latest dive, Jason was seen with his chiselled body and wearing swim shorts as his fiancee Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shared the jump on his social media along with a number of sweet family shots.
The clan were enjoying their break, with Jason and Rosie joined by their kids, Jack, eight, and Isabella, three. And in her rare look into their family life, Rosie's images saw Jason's perfect form as he leapt from the vessel while his son watched on in amazement.
"Jack's face watching Jason diving is priceless. Hugs," gushed one user in the comments section of the post. "Omg that diving form," fashion designer Aimee Song also gasped.
But there was also a lot of love from followers for what seemed to be the idyllic family getaway. Designer Elizabeth Sulcer wrote: "Beauty family," with a yellow love heart emoji.
And Kara Alloway penned: "This. Is. Everything. Proof that love family and marriage still thrive." Michelle Keegan was among the famous pals clicking the like button on the post.
Other images from their trip also showed the strong father-and-son bond Jason has with Jack as they peered out at sea. Rosie also posted an adorable photograph Jason and their two kids embracing, while another shot showed her enjoying some downtime of her own.
She was seen relaxing in the crystal clear waters as she floated while wearing a two-piece white bikini. A number of other shots showed the family recharging their batteries on the relaxing trip.
The holiday comes months after Jason had left villagers gobsmacked as he strolled through while filming for his next movie. The A-lister was spotted in a number of locations in Enniskerry, Ireland.
The star, who was sporting a rugged beard and beanie at the time was almost unrecognisable as he visited Poppies cafe in the hotspot. Jason, who was the highest-paid Brit in Hollywood last year, earning £32million, happily posed for a photo with the owners of the cafe, Fiona and Laura.
They later proudly shared the picture on the cafe's Instagram page and included a caption thanking the actor for choosing their village for his latest film.

A packed flight was due to board a bus to their plane when the female passenger was stopped in the queue. Nikolay Stefanov, a witness to the shocking ordeal, said the woman was told she had to pay for extra baggage because her luggage didn't fit in the holdall. The woman refused to pay as she explained her bag could in fact fit. Footage shows her trying to force her bag into the luggage rack by slamming it in. The bag does eventually fit but the staff still refuse to let her board. She then breaks down in tears as she pleads with a member of the border police and takes a video of the bag which is now wedged inside the rack. Dozens of the passengers were seen watching on from behind a glass door which was all that separated them from the weeping woman. Determined to board, she then starts to bang on the door and ask for help as Nikolay films the sad ordeal. More staff quickly surround the woman as her begging grows louder. The viral footage soon caught the eye of Bulgaria's parliament. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Grozdan Karadjov has reportedly ordered an inspection of the airport's security cameras. Mr Karadjov is even said to have described the behaviour of employees in the video as "outrageous", reports. He has assured people that the main ground operator will be found and given the "highest fine" and a verbal warning. In response, Goldair Handling Bulgaria insisted their employees acted "professionally and without any physical contact with the passenger". The handling company released a statement to BNT News that read: "All rules regarding passengers' baggage, its permissible size and the fees payable for baggage are determined solely, entirely and unilaterally by the airlines. "Goldair Handling Bulgaria OOD is solely obliged to monitor compliance with these rules by the airlines. "This also applies to hand luggage, as Goldair Handling Bulgaria OOD is obliged to monitor the dimensions of this baggage and collect excess baggage fees. "[Staff] acted professionally and without any physical contact with the passenger." It comes as Ryanair's CEO is considering increasing bonuses paid to staff for spotting oversized luggage. The budget airline currently pays staff approximately €1.50 (£1.30) for stopping passengers with oversized bags from boarding the aircraft. Currently, staff bonuses for doing this are capped at €80 (£70) a month. The Shefa-2 cable that was damaged and it was initially thought that up to 10,000 customers would be affected. But as engineers began to work on the issue, Openreach revealed this morning that hundreds of households have been impacted. And the issue has only affected Orkney and Shetland. Many on the islands have experienced disruption to internet and phone services. Landlines were never impacted by the outage. OpenReach said: "We'll continue to assess, but customer broadband impact is more limited than initially thought, with hundreds of customers disrupted." It added: "Landline calls were never impacted, and we'll continue to work hard to resolve and repair." A timescale for the repairs is currently unknown and will depend on a number of conditions such as wind strength and direction. Openreach apologised to those who had been affected. Martin Brundle in Ozzy Osbourne tribute at Belgian GP – 'My favourite grid walk guest'
Ozzy Osbourne made a memorable appearance on Martin Brundle's Formula 1 grid walk more than 20 years ago and the Sky Sports favourite paid tribute to the rocker on Sunday Martin Brundle began his grid walk at the Belgian Grand Prix with a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. The rock legend died last week, aged 76, less than three weeks after his farewell concert with his band Black Sabbath in Birmingham. Osbourne was loved by millions worldwide and also captured the hearts of Formula 1 fans many years ago with a memorable appearance on one of Brundle's pre-race grid walks. The broadcaster usually spends some time walking up and down the grid before a Grand Prix to speak with famous faces. A particularly memorable walk happened when Osbourne was a VIP guest at the 2003 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. Many reporters tried to speak with him but Brundle, working for ITV at the time, managed to get to the front of the queue – not that he could get much sense out of the rocker. And he had to cut the interview short when Osbourne swore unexpectedly, in an exchange which Brundle later reflected upon. The Brit said: "He wasn't fully with it, shall we say. I asked him a question and he gave me a very long, incomprehensible answer. "I said to him, 'I'll try and think of a question to that, but in the meantime how are the dogs?' And he said, 'They are at home s****** on the carpets.' It went out live to millions of people and I got in trouble because I was supposed to have known he would swear if I asked that question." That memorable moment resurfaced on social media in the days after Osbourne's death last week. And Brundle took the opportunity to say a few words about the departed music legend as he began his grid walk ahead of Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix at a rain-soaked Circuit Spa-Francorchamps. Speaking live on Sky Sports, the broadcaster said: "A quick word for probably my most favourite ever grid walk guest: Ozzy Osbourne. Condolences to your family and friends, we will miss you. Rest in peace I don't think quite fits for Ozzy Osbourne." While Osbourne may have landed Brundle in a bit of bother with his loose language, he did at least engage with the broadcaster, who has branded his grid walks in general as "car crash television". While many stars are happy to converse with the ex-F1 driver on the grid, some have notoriously snubbed him. Earlier this year, he told the Daily Mail: "The grid walk actually really annoys me because that's what I'm known for now. The whole thing is still a mystery. I won a lot of races as a driver and was on the F1 podium. I was World Sportscar Champion, winner at Le Mans, beat Ayrton Senna a lot of times in F3. "I was a reasonably handy racing driver and I'm a reasonably handy commentator but all I'm going to be remembered for is getting ignored on the grid by the Megan Thee Stallion and other people I'd never heard of until that moment. It's quite a funny thing but I can't knock it, heading towards 66, I'm lucky to still be in live sport and that's why I was pleased with the OBE because it wasn't an OBE just for grid-walking."
