Rio Ferdinand announces he is leaving TNT Sports pundit role
The former Manchester United and England defender has been part of the broadcaster's punditry team for a decade but will stand down after its coverage of Saturday's Champions League final.
'Since retiring from football, it has been a privilege talking about the game I love for a decade for sports fans watching BT Sport and TNT Sports,' he said in a statement published on his X account.

'I hope to stay connected with you all in different capacities. Thank you once again for everything!'
Sources close to TNT Sports have told the PA news agency that this is an amicable parting of ways, and that the door is being kept ajar for future opportunities.
Ferdinand first announced he was working as part of the BT Sport team in May 2013, with BT rebranding as TNT Sports in the summer of 2023.
The 46-year-old has become a regular part of the presenting line-up for the broadcaster's European club football coverage but is now set to spend more time working on his personal content channels.
His Rio Ferdinand Presents YouTube channel currently has 1.32 million subscribers.
Ferdinand will sign off as part of TNT's presentation team for the Champions League final between Paris St Germain and Inter Milan in Munich on Saturday.
Earlier this month Ferdinand was forced to miss a number of matches after being hospitalised by what he later described on his YouTube channel as a 'mad virus', admitting at one point he thought it was 'lights out' for him.

The 26-year-old's contract is set to expire next summer. Talks over an extension have already taken place and the club have tabled a proposal. Foot Mercato, via GFFN, however, reveal that Donnarumma has plenty of admirers among Europe's elite and they are lurkin in case the shot-stopper opts against signing a new deal. United are among those clubs and a move for Donnarumma would appeal given there are still doubts over Andre Onana following another mixed season for the Cameroon star. Sancho deal collapse Chelsea are set to pay Manchester United £5million after failing to reach an agreement to make Jadon Sancho's loan move permanent. Sancho spent the season on loan at Stamford Bride and the Blues were obligated to make the deal permanent after finishing higher than 14th in the Premier League. But the west London side did have a caveat in the deal which would allow them to renege on that commitment providing they cough up a £5m feel. That will now transpire. Chelsea are said to have wanted to retain Sancho's services but could not come to an agreement with the winger. The Blues did not want to match the salary he was earning at United. Rashford emerges as shock target for Italian giants amid Man Utd quandary
Marcus Rashford appears to have little future at Manchester United and the forward could potentially be in line for a blockbuster move to Italy ahead of next season Italian giants Inter Milan could make a move for Marcus Rashford after their Champions League humiliation. The Manchester United forward is on the lookout for his next club, with his future at Old Trafford less than certain. Rashford was unceremoniously cut from the squad by Ruben Amorim and joined Aston Villa on loan in January. The Midlands side have a £40m option to buy him this summer, albeit they have yet to activate that. A number of potential other suitors have emerged for Rashford's services and it appears that there is now interest from Italy. According to The Sun, Inter Milan have added the United forward to their summer shortlist as they aim to recover from their dismal Champions League final appearance. The Serie A giants were thumped 5-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in Munich. Club chiefs apparently believe that Rashford could be a perfect addition as they aim to rebuild the squad in the wake of that defeat. It is also said his signing would go a long way to getting fans back onside. Inter are apparently exploring a long-term loan move, albeit United would prefer a permanent deal. A source as quoted by The Sun said: 'Marcus is open-minded to a move abroad, and a fresh start. Lots of players have made the move from the Premier League to Serie A in recent years and performed very well. That's why the idea of such a switch excites both the player and Inter.' Away from Inter, Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Rashford. Sporting director Deco was recently asked about a potential move but claimed work needed to be done behind the scenes before the Catalan side could consider adding new signings to their squad. 'We have been focusing on renewing contracts, after that, we'll discuss players to come," Deco said to BBC Sport. "Of course, these two players [Rashford and Luis Diaz], like you mentioned, they are good but have contracts in their clubs, so we won't speak because it's not fair. 'But when you decide to go to the market, for sure, we find some names. In my opinion, we don't need to bring many players. When I speak with the agents of the players, everyone wants to come or stay. 'So this is important. The image of the club is still good. We are proud because Barcelona is still such a big club, and the way we are playing football makes players want to come."

Lorenzo Musetti avoids disqualification after kicking a ball at a line judge
In the second set of his quarter-final against American Frances Tiafoe, Musetti booted the ball in frustration and it hit the woman, standing about three metres away, in the chest. Tiafoe looked stunned at the other end of the court and gestured towards the umpire, who eventually gave Musetti a code violation.
