Solgaleo has a max CP of 4570, solid Attack (255), high Stamina (264), and decent Defense (191). That means it's tanky enough to drag raids out if you don't use the right counters. Because of its unique Psychic/Steel combo, it has: Double resistance to Poison and Psychic
Single resistance to Dragon, Grass, Ice, Normal, Rock, Steel, Flying, and Fairy moves

Avoid using those types. Instead, focus on the four that hit it hard: Dark, Fire, Ghost, and Ground. Your best bets to bring into the raid include strong Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y or Mega Blaziken, and powerful Ghost-types like Mega Gengar or Dawn Wings Necrozma.
