George Clooney shows off hair transformation at Tony Awards: 'I had to cut it out'
George Clooney is back to his silver fox self. The "Good Night, and Good Luck" star, who was nominated at the 78th annual Tony Awards on June 8, returned to his signature salt-and-pepper hairdo, as seen by Clooney's red-carpet appearance with wife Amal Clooney. The Oscar-winning actor had previously dyed his hair black for his starring role as CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow in the Broadway play. "I had to cut it all out with a weed whacker to get it all," Clooney told E! News. "That black hair dye, I had to cut it out. You can't color that." Despite the hairy ordeal, Clooney, 64, and Amal made a stylish splash on the Tony Awards carpet. The "ER" alum evoked Hollywood heartthrob vibes in a classic black-and-white tuxedo, while Amal, 47, stunned in a white, off-the-shoulder frock. The actor, who was up for best leading actor in a play for his portrayal of Murrow, joked about the lukewarm reception of his darker hair in an April interview with "CBS Mornings." Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle. "It's not my favorite look, and my wife, she thinks it's funny," Clooney said at the time. "Honestly, nothing makes you look older than being 63 and dyeing your hair." Just like the closing night of "Good Night, and Good Luck," which took place the same day as the Tonys, Clooney's brunette era was bound to have its final bow. The actor hinted at his hair transformation in a June 3 interview on "Late Night with Seth Meyers." "We do a matinee, and then by the time we go to the Tonys that night, it'll be gone," Clooney told Meyers. "I may have a shaved head."

Brittany Renner confirms her divorce to Kevin Gates. ‘I followed my heart'
Brittany Renner said she followed her heart and is getting divorced. (Warning: The below link contains language some may find offensive.) In a recent radio interview with REAL 92.3 LA, the 33-year-old 'Basketball Wives' star revealed that she and her husband, rapper Kevin Gates, are officially going their separate ways. 'We got married April 6 and divorced May 28,' Renner said in the interview, which aired June 7. The social media star says the couple must now enter a 90-day waiting period. The waiting period, known as iddah in Islam, is meant to ensure that a woman is not pregnant. Renner converted to Islam in August 2024, per Complex. 'And then also in those 90 days it's for reconciliation, because Allah wants you to stay married,' Renner explained. 'During those 90 days, you are not to entertain anybody romantically.' Renner and Gates, who converted to Islam in 2016, went Instagram official in April, according to E! News. The couple sparked engagement rumors the following month after Renner appeared at the season 12 premiere of 'Basketball Wives,' which aired May 5, with a ring on her ring finger. Renner later referred to Gates as her husband in a since-deleted Instagram post May 4, per E! News. 'You don't fit on this show and that's why you're a fit for this show,' Brittany wrote in the caption. 'Last night at the #BasketballWives Season 12 premiere party with my huzband.' Renner says she's looking forward to a 'nice 90-day reset' With her 52-day marriage in the rear-view mirror, Renner says she now wants to focus on herself. 'I followed my heart,' she said in her interview with REAL 92.3 LA. 'And that's more than what most people can say in this world.' She goes on to add that she doesn't view the divorce as a bad situation and is ready to move on. 'I don't think anybody gets married to not stay married. So, I think my biggest thing for me is just a nice 90 day reset. Focusing on myself and pouring into myself,' she explained. She said 'what is meant to be is always gonna be.' The divorce comes roughly one month after Renner gushed about Gates in an interview with People. 'I'm with the person that I quite literally dreamed of,' she said in the interview, published May 5. 'And to be able to just wake up next to him and spend time with him, even to have him here behind me, it's like so surreal,' she added. 'He's just the most beautiful person inside and out that I've ever met.' At the time, Renner said that the couple weren't concerned about what the future holds. 'I think that's where people get a little lost,' she told People. 'Like, we gotta stay present and I feel like when we get too far ahead, we don't live in the now and have fun in the now and pour in each other into each other in the now,' she continued. The pair don't share any children together, but Renner does have a 4-year-old son, P.J. Washington III, with NBA player P.J. Washington.

Taylor Swift Files Restraining Order Against Man, Claims Harassment
Originally appeared on E! Online Taylor Swift is taking legal measures to ensure her safety. The 'Karma' singer recently filed a temporary restraining order against a Colorado resident, Brian Jason Wagner, who she alleges has visited her Los Angeles home multiple times in the last year, stating she is now fearing for the safety of herself and her family in documents obtained by E! News. 'Mr. Wagner made various statements about living at my property (not true),' Swift wrote in a legal declaration obtained by E! News, 'being in a relationship with me (not true), believing I am the mother of his son (not true), and needing to see me in person, all of which are untrue and disconnected from reality.' In her declaration, Swift states that Wagner first visited her Los Angeles residence in 2024, returning to the property several times in July of that year, adding, 'On at least one of the occasions in July 2024, Mr. Wagner was carrying a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon.' Wagner again visited Swift's Los Angeles residence last month, she alleged, writing in her declaration that he claimed he 'was there checking on a friend (again, this is entirely untrue).' More from E! Online Dakota Johnson Reveals Dating Non-Negotiable After Chris Martin Breakup Ryan Lochte and Estranged Wife Kayla Reid's Debt Revealed Amid Divorce Tony Awards 2025: George Clooney Gives Rare Update on His, Amal's Kids Ella and Alexander Swift—who is dating Travis Kelce—went on to detail that her security team had run a background check on Wagner, finding that he had been previously incarcerated and had written letters to Swift while in prison detailing 'at length about his infatuation with me, a romantic relationship with me (which does not exist), and other completely fabricated stories about his involvement in my personal life.' Her team also found that Wagner had allegedly somehow managed to update his driver's license with her own Los Angeles address, sent her staff 'hundreds' of threatening emails, and attempted to divert her own mail to his place of residence. 'I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and I have never met nor communicated with him,' Swift continued in her declaration, noting that his recent May visits to her home have made the situation more dire, adding 'The fact that both of these recent visits and Mr. Wagner's inappropriate and threatening communications to my staff about me have escalated in recent weeks creates a fear of imminent harm.' Swift was granted a temporary restraining order in Los Angeles, which will bar Wagner from her home, places of work and vehicles. E! News has attempted to reach an attorney for Wagner for comment but has not yet heard back. This is just the latest time legal action has had to be taken against an alleged stalker of Swift. In 2024, a man was arrested outside of The Eras Tour July 17 concert in Germany. The man, who was not identified by name, had purchased a ticket for the show, authorities said, and was arrested upon his entry, with local police telling the Associated Press at the time they were, 'following tips from organizers of the event.' (He was kept detained until Swift left the city.) In recent months, Swift has been photographed spending time in Florida with Kelce as he prepares for the next NFL season, as well as time in New York. However, the 'Fortnight' singer has been open about never staying in the same place for too long. 'I try not to ever really say where I am, since all my addresses are on the internet," she told CBS Mornings in a 2019 interview. 'People tend to show up uninvited like dudes who think we have an imaginary marriage.' She emphasized the longstanding fear in her life, adding, 'I've had a lot of stalkers show up to the house armed.' For the latest breaking news updates, click here to download the E! News App
