Battersea flats offer IV drips to order, vitamin C showers... and mushroom tea on tap: Would YOU live here?
The HiLight development is being built on the site of a former candle factory in Battersea, on the banks of the Thames.
It will have, according to property developer Ghelamco, the capital's first residential rooftop to offer a 'dedicated suite of private amenities' aimed at helping residents feel zen or work on their 'toxin elimination.'
After a long day toiling away at work, residents at the block will be able to enjoy IV-drip infusions to order in their flat. A spokesperson for the developer told the Daily Mail that the IV drips will be available around the clock.
Residents willing to go the extra step for the sake of their wellbeing will be able to zoom up to the rooftop for a vitamin C-infused shower, some 'functional mushroom drinks and vitamin gummies', an ice bath or some time in an infrared or salt therapy sauna pod.
The rooftop's health hub will also have Finnish saunas set to a toasty 85 to 95 degrees Celsius 'for maximum therapeutic impact.'
A further four 'wellness pods' will be dedicated to 'gentle thermal therapy and deep relaxation.'
Within one of the pods there will be a dry spa equipped with chromotherapy lighting. Blue light is aimed at easing stress and lower blood pressure, while green is designed to calm anxiety and red is believed to boost energy, circulation and mood, the firm behind the development said.
Different 'calming scents' will also be used across the rooftop spaces, and there will also be 'scent-driven events' on offer to residents.
Residents will also be able to make use of the block's 'grounding area.' This, the developer said, is being designed 'for earthing, barefoot connection to natural elements to reduce stress and anxiety.'
A health consultancy service will be available, offering full body scan appointments and round-the-clock access to a doctor.
The former factory site will also have a residents-only luxury cinema room and 24-hour concierge service.
The block of 113 flats will be completed early next year, with prices ranging from £645,000 for a one-bed to £2million for a three-bed flat. The service charge will be £7.15 per square metre, per year.

The new flats are being built on the site of Price's Candle's former factory. The site supplied candles to British royalty and prime ministers, helping it secure a royal warrant and become the largest maker of candles in the world while in Battersea.
Property developers targeting well-heeled buyers are battling to lure in wealthy clients and offer residents an ever-growing list of on-site amenities. Many sites are offering facilities more frequently seen in hotels than blocks of flats.

Zombie' squirrels covered in sores spotted after 'Frankenstein rabbits' scare
Yet more cute animals have caused concern in the US over strange growths which really shouldn't be there. It hasn't been long since 'Frankenstein' rabbits with black tendrils covering their faces started hopping around in Colorado. And now squirrels covered in oozing sores have been spotted in gardens across the US and Canada. The first instances of these 'zombie squirrels' date back to 2023, when a homeowner took pictures of several grey squirrels covered in tumours in their yard. The hairless growths have been seen to ooze pus and they can appear on most of the squirrels' body from their head and eyes to their legs and genitals. But the number of sightings has exploded in the past month, Daily Mail reports – but this could be because more squirrels are out and about gathering food for the winter, wildlife experts say. And it's feared leaving bird feeders in the garden for both birds and squirrels to eat from could be helping the illness to spread. While there isn't an official verdict on what the squirrels are suffering from, experts suggest it's likely squirrel fibromatosis, a common virus which causes wart-like growths which usually heal on their own. Shevenell Webb from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said: 'Like a lot of people, I love watching birds. Unfortunately, you can attract multiple [squirrels] to that feeder and risk exposure if one has the virus. 'It's like when you get a large concentration of people. If someone is sick and it's something that spreads easily, others are going to catch it. 'I would not recommend trying to capture a squirrel that has the virus. It is naturally occurring and will run its course in time.' While wildlife experts haven't confirmed whether the new sightings are cases of fibromatosis or the less common squirrel pox (SQPV), it's far less likely that squirrel pox is the culprit. SQPV is a systemic condition that often results in death among red squirrels, who are more vulnerable to the virus. Thankfully, once a squirrel contracts fibromatosis, they tend to recover fully and the condition doesn't tend to come back. Toothpaste made with hair naturally repairs tooth enamel, scientists discover
Toothpaste made with hair could repair damaged teeth and stop the early stages of decay, a new study has found. Scientists at King's College London discovered keratin, a protein found in hair, skin and wool that is often used in reparative shampoos, can also help with teeth. "We think this is a game changer, an industry-mover to introduce keratin as an actual product within our daily use to protect and heal your tooth enamel without even realising," Dr Sherif Elsharkawy, from King's Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences, told Sky News. "If you have a micro crack or a very small defect, it would heal itself without you even realising." Many tooth problems come from damaged enamel, which does not regenerate - once it is lost, it is gone forever. When the keratin mixes with the minerals in saliva, it produces a protective coating to mimic the structure and function of natural enamel. Fluoride toothpastes and fluoride added to drinking water are currently relied on to slow enamel erosion but keratin-based treatments were found to stop it completely. "Keratin offers a transformative alternative to current dental treatments," said Sara Gamea, PhD researcher at King's College London and first author of the study. The treatment could be through a daily toothpaste or as a professionally applied gel, similar to nail varnish, in more extreme cases. It could be made available for the public in two to three years, according to the scientists, and is seen as a more environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional dental restoration. The test products developed at King's College were made from wool, but in the future, Dr Elsharkawy said people could even collect their own hair to extract keratin. However, for the moment, the King's team is "going with sheep's wool because it's highly abundant and it's a biowaste, it's sustainable and it's good for the farmers." The toothpaste will look and feel just like standard fluoride paste, with a minty flavour and foaming texture but instead contain enough keratin for daily use. "The aim is that we want this to be affordable and to reach the public," said Dr Elsharkawy. "We don't think this is going to be a premium product - we would like to get everyone to be able to access it."
