Bad Bunny's record smashing moments before his Puerto Rico residency

So it's not surprising that when the 31-year-old star announced his first concert residency earlier this year, he triggered a frenzy. The 30-date residency at Puerto Rico's largest arena, Coliseo de Puerto Rico, sold out in four hours and caused long lines of locals who waited to buy the tickets for the first nine shows, which are intended for the island's residents.
Bad Bunny's residency, aptly named No Me Quiero Ir de Aqui (I Don't Want to Leave Here), is poised to be the largest in Puerto Rico's history and is expected to deliver a boon to its economy and visibility.
Later this year, Bad Bunny will embark on the Debi Tirar Mas Fotos world tour, which features more than 50 shows across four continents. It starts Nov. 21 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and ends in Brussels, Belgium, on July 22, 2026. There have been no U.S. dates announced for the tour.
As Bad Bunny's Puerto Rico residency kicks off July 11, we look back at some of his record-setting accomplishments.
Last year's best Latin albums: From Shakira to Peso Pluma and Becky G
First all-Spanish album to hit No. 1 on Billboard
Bad Bunny is familiar with chart success, boasting several No. 1 albums and 15 No. 1 hits on Billboard's Hot 100. But it was his third album, "El Ultimo Tour del Mundo," that guaranteed him a spot in the history books. The 2020 reggaeton release was the first all-Spanish language album to reach No. 1 on Billboard's albums chart. Benito replicated that feat with his next three albums - "Un Verano Sin Ti" (2022), "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Manana" (2023) and "Debi Tirar Mas Fotos" (2025) - which all snagged No. 1 spots on Billboard.
First all-Spanish album to get a Grammy album of the year nomination
Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti" is a 23-song trove that spent a whopping 13 weeks in the top chart position. The commercial triumph was mirrored by critical acclaim and led the industry insiders of the Recording Academy to nominate it for album of the year at the 65th Grammy Awards. While the win went to Harry Styles' "Harry's House," Bad Bunny's inclusion in the highly competitive all-genre category marked a new height in Latin music history.
Bad Bunny was also the first artist to win a best musica urbana album Grammy after the category was introduced at the 64th awards for his "El Ultimo Tour del Mundo" album.
Most streamed album on Spotify ever
Streaming has been good to Bad Bunny. He's consistently among the most streamed global artists, finding himself among acts like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd on lists of popular listens. In fact, his "Un Verano Sin Ti" is the most streamed album on Spotify. Ever.

Love Island fans say they have 'no shame' amid Harry's 'game plan' as he makes savage switch

Love Island fans were adamant they had worked out Harry Cooksley's plans as he was once again involved in a drama filled episode of the ITV2 dating series Love Island fans were quick to point out the "game plan" of Harry Cooksley after yet more drama involving the 30 year old. Despite being coupled up with Helena, Harry has continuously shared cheeky and flirtatious chat with other girls in the villa. ‌ And his ways have caused former partner Shakira's head to be turned despite being in a pair with Conor. And following Friday night's dramatic antics, fans are certain they know what Harry is up to as a dramatic recoupling took place on tonight's show. ‌ There were tears for Harry as he spoke to Helena who promised she could not be friends with him in the villa or on the outside. And he was backed by the boys as he sulked. However, the recoupling led fans to have the same thoughts. With just Helena and Shakira left standing waiting to be picked, Harry said he had "disappointed myself" before saying he knows he's not perfect. ‌ He said he had "chose to ignore" the feelings he had for her as he told Shakira he was either leaving the villa alone or with her. He made his decision, with Shakira hugging him and leaving Helena left standing alone, much to the disappointment of other islanders. After Blu was left to pick Helena, she took his words on board before getting up and quickly walking away from the fire pit. And taking to social media, fans of the show made their feelings known. ‌ One user on Twitter /X said: "Harry knows Shakira is most popular with public his game plan working to a tee." And it was shown in other comments by viewers. "IF THERE IS A VOTE IM VOTING HARRY AND SHAKIRA WITH NO SHAME #LoveIsland," admitted one user. Another added: "Just watch! People will vote for Harry and Shakira," while a third said: "Yessss Harry beautiful speech, you're back in the game. Team Harry and Shakira" On Friday's edition, he was finally exposed to the villa for his actions that had caused drama between the girls for weeks - leading to a split. He had played Shakira and Helena against each other time and time again, and sat back as Helena and Shakira took the triangle drama out on each other. His exclusive pairing with Helena had left Shakira devastated after feeling isolated in recent weeks. ‌ However, just a day after moving their relationship on, Harry was hinting to Dejon how he still liked Shakira. He also hinted he wasn't that into Helena, before appearing to try and pick a fight with her at the Grafties. The awkward scenes playing out in front of the camera saw Helena end things for good. His comments about "loving" his ex Emma and him flirting with others, not to mention his chats with Shakira, all played on the awards ceremony in the vila. And the footballer also made a comment about having a better experience with Shakira than Helena. Helena ended up calling Harry "a f*****g joke". She then told him: "Shakira doesn't want you, I don't want you." With that the other Islanders smirked as Helena appeared to end things.

Love Island star Helena interrupts ex Harry and Shakira sharing their feelings for each other in awkward encounter

LOVE Island star Helena interrupted Harry and Shakira as the pair declared their feelings for each other in Sunday night's episode. This year's edition of the ITV2 dating show has seen the three Islanders involved in a dramatic love triangle. 5 5 5 In tonight's episode, after choosing to sleep outside, Harry returns to the villa and sits down with Shakira to discuss where they stand. They both express their strong feelings for each other, despite Harry's romance with Helena only just coming to an end. As Harry tells Shakira he'd "buried his feelings" for her, Helena can be seen coming up the stairs. They continue to chat but soon both fall silent as Helena walks through the room they are in, to grab a head band. She soon runs back down the stairs and Shakira then says: "I do feel really bad for her." Meanwhile, Helena jumps into bed with Conor to discuss what she's just seen. The sad Love Islander explains: "They're both in the upstairs lounge talking. "Me and him are coupled up and exclusive right now, it's actually mental." During the conversation, Harry tells her: 'I have really tried with her [Helena], but we had like a week and it was, for me, the feelings were obviously way stronger and still are. Harry and Helena break down in tears as they cut final romantic ties in emotional scenes "I'm sorry I never like tried again. I really thought the door was just, like, slammed.' Shakira responds: 'Do you want some home truths… it's obviously the way you go about it and the steps you take in between to come to these conclusions obviously hurt people along the way. "It's all well and good you saying 'hold my hands up guys, sorry' but you still hurt people. And it's a pattern.' Harry then makes his intentions clear, saying: 'Look, I'm either leaving here alone or with you.' Elsewhere, Helena is left heartbroken in Sunday night's episode as things come to an end romantically between her and Harry. The blonde beauty tells the footballer that he's "broken her heart" before they embrace in the snug and both cry into each other's arms. Harry admits: 'I didn't, I just buried it all. I just didn't address any of my feelings and we were flying…' Helena responds emotionally: 'I thought I had something genuine in here.' Later, Shakira questions Harry's sudden change in behaviour, telling him: 'Like, how you're feeling now is not making sense from what I've seen for the past however many weeks.' When she asks, 'What are we doing?', Harry simply replies: 'I don't know.' Amid the chaos, some fans have speculated that Harry and Shakira could well get back together, especially with the impending recouple which will see the boys choose the girl they want to couple up with. 5

Love Island fans insist returning Islander ‘did their research' as they expose ‘game plan'

Viewers threatened to call Ofcom when this Islander returned EYES ON THE PRIZE Love Island fans insist returning Islander 'did their research' as they expose 'game plan' LOVE Island fans insist a returning Islander 'did their research' as they expose their 'game plan.' Irish star Megan made her villa return this week in shock scenes, alongside fellow dumped Islander Blu. 3 Love Island fans insist a returning Islander 'did their research' as they expose their 'game plan' 3 Fans have claimed Megan has an obvious game plan Megan was voted least favourite girl after dumping Tommy for Conor, before being axed. But her return has seen her head straight for Conor to pick up where they left off. However, Love Island viewers aren't convinced, with some saying that the brunette beauty has returned to the dating show with a game plan. Taking to Reddit, one person speculated: 'Irish Megan really did her homework. Notice how when Yasmin first came in irish Megan threw the blame on her calling her 'boring and sloppy' and never held Harry or Dejon accountable. 'But now she's flipping the script, telling the girls 'Oh the boys were the problem' and 'It's not Shakira it's Harry.' They continued: 'Since her return, Helena who's always laughing and scoffed 'I'm not threatened by Shakira.' is now crying….its no coincidence that both Helena and Megan are shifting the blame onto Harry instead of Shakira after irish meg came in because they would've jumped guns blazing on Shakira if they hadn't known what the public say about them.' And the poster finished by saying: 'They're even openly acknowledging the 'divide' for the first time and Megan who was confidently arguing with 4+ girls during movie night is now shedding crocodile tears for people to sympathise with her…irish meg TRUST and believe that you will be on that spirit flight back to england i've had enough of them rigging this season and painting shakira and toni as the villains.' The comment was liked by thousands of people in agreement, but not everyone agreed with the theory. Some said it was a good thing that Megan was calling out the boys for their actions, while others fumed that the word 'game player' was being thrown about too easily. Love Island fans praise Megan as she calls out Harry for his actions in brutal speech On her villa return, Megan revealed the real reason she decided to come back. She said: "I'm excited to go back in, I think I left quite abruptly and I'm going back in for some clarity. "It was an easy decision to make. "When you can't speak to people for a couple of weeks and have to watch them on telly every night, you want some answers." Some Love Island fans ended up complaining to Ofcom about Megan and Blu's return to the villa. "Producers are ****s, they bring Megan back now that Shakira + Conor are happy + now I've seen that they've put the clip of Shakira + Toni talking about meg + demon in the grafties? "I hate them and ofcom will be hearing from me." Someone else added: "And the voting was rigged - I'm complaining to ofcom too, sick of the lies." A third penned: "@itv bringing back meg over alima is disgraceful. And I will be complaining to ofcom. "Megan recieved the lowest amount of votes. Alimas was never voted out by the public but by somone stealing her man. "S10 molly was kicked out the same way and eventually brought back." A fourth then said: "Everyone needs to complain to ofcom after that episode!!!!!!!" While a fifth added: "I'm actually gonna file an ofcom complaint cause how can they disregard our votes like that? "Megan literally had the lowest votes for favourite girl FOR A REASON."
