T7 Global unit wins oil and gas contract extension from Hibiscus

KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd's subsidiary Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd has secured a contract extension from Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia Ltd to continue providing maintenance, construction and modification (MCM) services for the PM3-CAA project.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, T7 Global said the contract extension is for a six-month period, commencing from June 19 until Dec 18, 2025.
The company noted that while the contract carries typical execution risks — including manpower availability, equipment readiness and regulatory compliance — Tanjung Offshore is well-positioned to manage these challenges given its track record and technical capabilities in the upstream oil and gas services sector.
"The award will have no effect on the total issued share capital and shareholdings of the substantial shareholders.
"The board envisages that the award will contribute positively to the earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025," it added.

London's Heathrow plans to expand capacity by 2031

Heathrow Airport has unveiled a huge investment plan to expand capacity by 2031. — MAJA SMIEJKOWSKA/PA Wire/dpa Heathrow Airport in England has unveiled a £10bil (RM56.94bil) investment plan to expand capacity, aiming to handle an extra 10 million passengers per year by 2031. The plan forms the core of the airport's 2027-2031 business proposal, which was submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) recently. It would require passenger charges being set an average of £33.26 (RM189.40) during the period, Heathrow said. That is compared with an average of £28.46 (RM162) between 2022 and 2026. The CAA determines the cap on per-passenger landing charges that airlines must pay to Heathrow. Airlines pass on the cost of these to passengers through fares. The investment plan would create new space within existing terminals equivalent to 10 football pitches, enabling new lounges, restaurants and shops to be built. It would also result in faster security and baggage handling, according to the airport. Heathrow's aim is for 95% of passengers to wait less than five minutes at security, 99% of bags to travel with their owner, and 80% of flights to depart on time. The airport is seeking to demolish the building previously used as Terminal 1, extend Terminal 2 and build a new southern access road tunnel. Once complete, the project would enable Heathrow to increase its passenger capacity by 12%, equivalent to 10 million more travellers annually. Heathrow chief executive Thomas Woldbye said: 'We're making good progress on our strategy to become an extraordinary airport – having become Europe's most punctual major airport so far this year. 'But our customers want us to improve our international rankings further, as do we. 'To compete with global hubs, we must invest. Our five-year plan boosts operational resilience, delivers the better service passengers expect and unlocks the growth capacity airlines want with stretching efficiency targets and a like-for-like lower airport charge than a decade ago. 'With Heathrow's Britain-based supply chain, this private investment will create jobs and drive national growth during this Parliament. 'We are ready to deliver the more efficient, sustainable Heathrow that will keep Britain connected to the world.' That means faster security, smoother baggage handling, more comfortable terminals, new lounges, restaurants and shops – all while delivering a better service for the growing number of passengers who need assistance.' Heathrow is Europe's busiest airport, with more than 83.9 million passengers travelling through its terminals in 2024. – dpa

Producers Must Report Supply Data to CAA by July 31 to Comply with Colorado's Packaging EPR Law

WASHINGTON, July 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Producers selling packaging, paper products, and food serviceware into Colorado must report supply data to Circular Action Alliance (CAA) by July 31, 2025, to remain in compliance with the state's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) law. The reporting requirement is a critical step in the law's implementation and Colorado's transition to a circular, producer-funded recycling system. CAA serves as the designated Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) in Colorado. The new EPR law, enacted under Colorado's Producer Responsibility Act, requires obligated producers to report data on the types and quantities of covered materials they supply into the Colorado market. This data is essential to set the 2026 Colorado Producer Fee Rate Schedule, which will be directly informed by actual producer supply data submitted to CAA by the July 31, 2025 reporting deadline. 'Colorado's new recycling system is driven by producers, and participation of all producers is the foundation for a system that works better for everyone,' said Geoffrey Inch, SVP of Producer Services, Circular Action Alliance. 'With the July 31 deadline fast approaching, we urge all producers to act now and submit their Colorado producer supply reports on time, to comply with the law and ensure an efficient transition into the next phase of Colorado's EPR implementation.' To remain in compliance with Colorado law, producers must submit supply data by the July 31, 2025 reporting deadline. CAA is available to support producers through this process and to help ensure reports are submitted on time and accurately. For information on whether your company qualifies as an obligated producer, guidance materials to support producers in compiling their reports, and access to CAA's Producer Portal, please visit: About Circular Action AllianceCircular Action Alliance (CAA) is a U.S. Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) dedicated to implementing effective Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for paper and packaging. As a nonprofit, producer-led organization, CAA is committed to helping producers comply with EPR laws, delivering harmonized best-in-class compliance services and to working with governments, businesses and communities to reduce waste and recycle more. CAA was founded in 2022 and is guided by producers representing the food, beverage, consumer goods, restaurant and retail industries. Media Contact:media@
