NAVI MUMBAI: Police inspector Subhash Pujari (45) attached to Navi Mumbai police department's Dial 112 emergency police helpline number has earned accolades for the Maharashtra police by winning two gold medals in the body building competition at the World Police and Fire Games 2025 held at Birmingham, Alabama in USA. The competition is going on from June 26 till July 6. While, Shubhangi Ghule (27), a fire fighter from Panvel City Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has won a bronze medal in the ultimate fire fighting challenge at the international sporting event at Alabama, USA. Inspector Pujari said, "I won a gold medal in the 172 cm height category in the body building competition and another gold medal in the men's physique competition. The achievement has been possible due to practicing for six hours every day for this competition under the guidance of Mr. Olympia Sunit Jadhav. There were participants from 76 countries. So far, I have won 6 medals in Mr. World Body Building Competition and 4 medals in Mr. Asia Competition. I have bagged 10 international medals and 5 medals in the National Competition."
