Ajman Chamber organizes the "Innovation Program" and "Innovation Lab" for the private sector
Maryam Al Nuaimi, head of the UAE Innovation Month team at the Ajman Chamber, praised the comprehensiveness of the Innovation Program and the diversity of its practical and theoretical activities. The program presented a set of challenges in work environments, discussed their causes, and developed appropriate solutions through the program participants. She stressed that the participation of youth councils in the program contributes to building bridges of cooperation, developing relationships, and enhancing the exchange of experiences, which contributes to creating a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
The "Innovation Lab" event, with the participation of private sector establishments, included many workshops and interactive sessions that highlighted the importance of creative thinking, teamwork, and the role of innovations and the use of modern technologies to increase productivity in private sector establishments. The challenges facing companies were also reviewed and innovative solutions were proposed to enhance competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.
"Ajman Chamber was keen to diversify the activities of Innovation Month in cooperation with its employees, youth councils in the emirate, and Ajman Chamber members from private sector establishments. This effort aims to promote an innovation-driven environment, consolidate the concepts of creativity across sectors, encourage the use of artificial intelligence technologies, and provide an interactive platform to explore solutions that keep pace with the latest developments, support digital transformation, and enhance the private sector's competitiveness," Al Nuaimi added.

Ajman and Uganda discuss investment opportunities and the development of economic and commercial relations
H.E. Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber, met with H.E. Zaake Wanume Kibedi, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the UAE, to discuss opportunities for mutual investment, strengthening economic relations, and increasing bilateral trade between Ajman and Uganda. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, AAisha Al Nuaimi, Director of the Investment and Business Promotion Department, and a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda. H.E. Abdullah Al Muwaiji emphasized the Ajman Chamber's commitment to building bridges of cooperation and communication with all nations in order to strengthen economic and commercial ties, support the business environment in the emirate, and attract investments across various sectors. He further praised Uganda's agricultural potential, its high-quality food industries, and its textile and other industries, which can pave the way for partnerships and cooperation between investors from both countries. A comprehensive presentation was given on investment opportunities in Ajman, highlighting the emirate's key features, including its strategic location, developed infrastructure, ease of doing business, and the seamless integration of government services. The presentation also shed light on promising investment sectors such as industry, tourism, construction, real estate, education, health, and services. The meeting concluded with a recommendation for joint meetings between business owners and investors from both countries to facilitate the exchange of expertise and explore potential partnerships. Discussions also covered the possibility of signing memorandums of understanding with Ugandan chambers of commerce to enhance trade exchange and diversify cooperation. The aim is to open new horizons that support economic development and achieve mutual interests. Ugandan investors were also invited to visit Ajman and explore investment opportunities in the Ajman Free Zone, Al Zorah area, and other key sectors. For his part, H.E. Zaake Wanume Kibedi, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the UAE, expressed his appreciation for the Ajman Chamber's efforts to strengthen economic relations. He praised the emirate's diverse advantages and its attractive investment environment. He affirmed his country's commitment to expanding cooperation in trade, industry, and services to boost trade volume and support partnerships between the business communities in Uganda and Ajman. He also extended an invitation for the Ajman Chamber to participate in the Uganda-UAE Business Forum, scheduled for October in Kampala, Uganda. At the conclusion of the meeting, H.E. Ajman Chamber records 8% growth in industrial establishment membership in H1 2025
AJMAN - Ajman Chamber has registered an 8 percent increase in industrial establishment membership during the first half of this year compared to the same period in 2024. The number of registered industrial establishments rose to 863, up from 800 during the first half of last year. Ajman Chamber is committed to fostering the growth of the industrial sector, recognising it as a key driver of the local economy. This is achieved by stimulating and encouraging investments, attracting new industrial projects, and providing a competitive business environment that supports the sustainability and expansion of existing establishments. The emirate of Ajman is distinguished by its diverse and resilient industrial base, which includes advanced manufacturing industries such as food and beverages, textiles and apparel, plastics, metals, wood, and building materials. Additionally, it features a globally and regionally renowned shipbuilding and boat manufacturing industry, among other advanced sectors. The chamber affirmed its role in empowering the industrial sector and achieving its strategic objectives, which align with Ajman Vision 2030 and the UAE's vision.

Ras Al Khaimah and Uganda to enhance investment cooperation
Mohammed Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RAKCCI), received Zaake Wanume Kibedi, Ambassador of Uganda to the UAE. Discussions focused on strengthening economic relations between the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with emphasis on promoting trade exchange and enhancing investment cooperation. Both parties reviewed the investment advantages offered in Ras Al Khaimah and the Republic of Uganda, highlighting the importance of unlocking new opportunities across key sectors in both countries. Al Nuaimi stated that the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce always welcomes initiatives that support the private sector in exploring useful and profitable investment opportunities in many friendly countries around the world, bringing mutual benefits and shared interests. He pointed out that Uganda is one of the African countries connected to the business environment of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah through several business partnerships and agreements. He also noted the importance of increasing partnerships in the small and medium enterprises sector, which will enhance investment opportunities for the private sector and the overall business environment. Ambassador Kibedi expressed his pleasure at meeting with the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, particularly as it is the official body responsible for organizing private sector affairs in the Emirate. He affirmed his country's interest in boosting and expanding trade exchange in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both sides. He also extended an invitation to the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and its members to attend the UAE-Uganda Business Forum, scheduled to take place from October 27th to 29th in Kampala, Uganda. Earlier in May the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed with the Consulate of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in the UAE areas of economic and commercial cooperation between the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the Republic of Bangladesh, and ways to establish distinguished bilateral partnerships that serve the growing relations and contribute to creating new investment opportunities and fields. This came during a meeting between Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Md. Rashedujjaman, Consul-General of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, held at the Chamber's headquarters. Al Nuaimi affirmed the Chamber's commitment to providing a modern support system for companies and investors coming from Bangladesh, aiming to empower them to grow their businesses and achieve sustainable success. The meeting also reviewed the prospects for cooperation and the need to develop it in ways that serve both parties' interests, strengthen relationships between businesspeople, and increase joint meetings and visits. The Consul-General of the People's Republic of Bangladesh also raised the idea of establishing a Bangladesh Business Council in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, similar to the business councils in other Emirates. Both parties agreed on the importance of organising workshops for the Bangladeshi community in the Emirate and setting a general framework for mechanisms to attract Bangladeshi businesspeople and investments to Ras Al Khaimah. In May 2025, Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the strong and enduring ties between the UAE and the State of Kuwait, highlighting the fruitful cooperation between both countries, especially in the trade sector.
