Just a couple of months ago, Rae, a mum-of-two from the UK, was working in a care home, where she had been employed for five years.
But now, she is self-employed and is attempting to earn a living through social media.
In one of her recent clips, she filmed herself preparing her partner's lunch, as she said: 'I charge my partner £10 a day to make his lunch for work.'
Following this, she added: 'If he's gonna go and spend £10 at McDonald's, Greggs, wherever it may be, and put money in a stranger's pocket, why not put money in my pocket instead?'
Rae recognised that not everyone will agree, but she isn't bothered, as she continued: 'It does seem to be a bit of a controversial topic, but it makes sense to me.
'Let's be honest, nothing in life comes free anymore, not even a paper bag - so if you're happy to go and pay the woman in Greggs for your lunch, then pay the woman that you love for your lunch, that way everyone's happy.'
Not only this, but she also set the record straight and confirmed: 'He's fed and happy, and I'm paid and happy.'
For Rae's partner's most recent lunch, she made him a peri peri chicken salad, which she served alongside cheesy coleslaw and two boiled eggs.
She also gave her 'fuss pot' partner a cereal bar, a chocolate bar and two cans of Tango.
Later in the clip, Rae confirmed that her man 'approved' of his packed lunch.
I'm a 'bad mum' but people are reporting me to welfare for feeding my kids junk - they mostly get fed at school anyway
Not only was he impressed, but he even described the tasty meal as 'absolutely beautiful.'
Big divide
But Rae's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @raeroberts.x, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 229,800 views in just two days.
Not only this, but it's also amassed 7,444 likes, 65 comments and 474 saves.
Social media users were left totally divided by Rae's actions - while some thought it was a fabulous idea to make an extra income off of her partner, others thought it was 'cheeky' and 'backwards.'
Charging him?! He should kick you out
TikTok user
One user shared: 'Great idea.'
A second chimed in: 'Love this.'
Whilst someone else penned: 'From today onwards I'll be charging.'
But at the same time, not everyone was as complimentary, as one person said: 'But if you love your man, you wouldn't charge him £10.'
Another added: 'Backwards mentality.'

To this, Rae wrote back and claimed: 'Backwards mentality is men expecting everything done for them when they're grown.'
A third commented: 'Charging him?! He should kick you out.'
Eager to clap back and prove the hater wrong, the savvy mum responded: 'Kick me out of a house that's equally both of ours, yeahhhh.'
Meanwhile, another gasped: 'I think that's a bit cheeky, £10 a day, a joke.'

Couple's Victorian home renovation is nearly perfect but one detail 'ruins' it
A couple who decided to transform their semi-detached Victorian property have been praised for their "beautiful" renovation - but some social media users can't get past one "offensive" detail A couple nearing the end of their meticulous restoration of a 1901 semi-detached Victorian home have been lauded for their "beautiful" decor choices. However, a small aspect of their renovation has drawn criticism for marring the otherwise sympathetic and traditional aesthetic. Tackling a home renovation is no mean feat; it's often expensive, disruptive, and laborious. Yet, once the dust settles, the fruits of such labour are usually worth it, providing a stunning, safe haven that perfectly suits the owner's tastes. While some proud homeowners take to social media to share their home refurbishment, others prefer to watch these transformations from afar, in the comfort of a dust-free environment. The pair behind @a. have shared their home renovation journey on TikTok, attracting a number of views thanks to their step-by-step process. They've managed to retain original features like the classic Minton floor tiles in the entrance hall, while also updating the property to be more energy-efficient, all without sacrificing its inherent period charm. In a recent post on the video-sharing platform, they offered followers an updated house tour, revealing six completed rooms with just two left to finish. The caption of the video read: "Updated house tour! 6 rooms completed; 2 to go", followed by a rundown of the specific paint colours and brands they've chosen for each room. The calming palette of blues and neutrals in the ground floor space generates an ambience that feels fresh, crisp and inviting. Across the dwelling, there are numerous nods to the home's Victorian roots through ornate fireplaces and period wall panelling, expertly merged with contemporary touches like bold statement artwork and signage. Yet, one particular element has sparked quite the debate amongst interior design fans on TikTok. Positioned at the far end of the kitchen sits a handy downstairs loo, distinguished by a bold black and white plaque declaring 'the shi**er'. In the comments beneath the clip, one observer penned: "Everything was absolutely perfect except the toilet door sign". The original content creators and property owners hit back with: "Not everything is to everyone's taste! We love it". Another remark stated: "Your house is stunning I don't like that loo sign tho". However, another TikTok user seemed baffled by the fierce backlash over the signage. They commented: "People so pressed over a toilet sign". Other social media viewers found the cheeky lavatory label rather entertaining. One fan remarked: "Well done, it's beautiful, still laughing at the sign above the toilet door downstairs". Praise for the property extended well beyond the divisive door decoration. One TikTok user gushed: "Beautiful home". Fellow users voiced their appreciation, with remarks including: "Beautiful and very tasteful" and: "What a fabulous transformation well done!" Another user heaped on the accolades, exclaiming: "Absolutely beautiful! A renovation done sympathetically and well! Best I've seen!"

Testing the cake, an employee said: "Wow, this looks unreal." He was just as impressed after tasting the battered cake. "This is insanity. It's so good," he praised, ultimately rating the cake 12/10. While many viewers said they were desperate to taste the cake themselves, not everyone was so impressed by the idea. One fan wrote: "Couple slices of that, add a scoop of ice cream onto it, I'd happily pay like £7.50 for that." A second said: "That's disgusting but why do I want it so much." A third viewer joked: "My arteries clogged with just a yet I want a slice so bad." Another response read: "I mean, I wanna be outraged and sickened by this, but damn, I'm hungry now!" A fan added: "This looks UNREAL," and someone agreed: "That looks amazing!" More praise came from a commenter who said: "Need." A foodie agreed: "Looks delightful." On the other hand, a different response read: "Just because you can doesn't mean you should." A commenter claimed: "Nothing is safe from the chip shops." Someone else asked: "Am I the only one devastated that Cuthbert got frazzled to death?" Another viewer joked: " Scotland called, they want their national dish back." A foodie added: "Sacrilege... not even a Colin... where's my pearls, they need clutching." A similar response said: "Justice for Colin." Thankfully, Colin fans didn't have long to wait. In a follow-up video, the Silver Fish battered one of Marks and Spencer's Colin the Caterpillar cakes, prompting another debate. The post said: "You asked, we delivered," and it has amassed over 80,000 views. When it was time for "the moment of truth", the cake passed the taste test. The reviewer said: "This is so good. This is nice and warm. This is exceptional. I'm going to give it a 12.1 out of ten." Once more, viewers' responses were divided. One unimpressed commenter said: "I feel like I've witnessed a crime against humanity." However, someone else said: "Years on this earth and i have never wanted anything more than I want this." While this isn't the first time Colin the Caterpillar has received the chippy treatment, based on the response from excited fans, more adventurous foodies will likely give it a try.
