Adrianne Curry doesn't look like this anymore! OG America's Next Top Model star is unrecognisable as she goes completely grey

Daily Mail11-07-2025
She was the brunette beauty who, at age 20, took out the inaugural season of America's Next Top Model in 2003.
But Adrianne Curry, 42, looked almost unrecognisable in a recent social media post that showed her sporting grey hair.
Adrianne took to Instagram this week to share a then-and-now photo that showed her just after her 2003 Next Top Model win, next to a more recent shot.
The second image showed Adrianne's previously dark brown locks had turned almost completely grey.
Captioning the image, Adrianne said that she was embracing her new look with: 'Ageing Happens. I'm having a f***ing blast doing it, too!'
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
The post elicited a flurry of comments from followers, with many praising the star for her approach to ageing.
'Your hair looks beautiful, but your skin looks just the same. Doesn't look like you've aged at all,' one fan offered.
'Actually your skin looks great and your hair is beautiful. I mean, it's got silver streaks and that's lovely.
The post was also picked up by the US Today show, which posted an article about Adrianne's dramatic transformation.
Responding to the story, Adrianne shared a clip where she encouraged embracing 'getting old'.
''I'm used to getting bad press, so this was pretty cool,' she said of the article.
'I think it's high time we start normalising not dyeing our hair and not injecting botulism into our faces or fillers, and stop perpetuating that impossible beauty standard that we blame on men, which really is just women setting on each other.'
Continuing, Adrianne urged her fans to stop 'competing' with one another when it comes to looking youthful.
'Let's just get old, guys. It's going to be fun. I promise you'll be okay,' she said.
'You just get old and try to stay healthy and try to be happy, And then stop trying to compete with each other and look like you're 20 when you're not. We can all see your hands, we know the truth. Let's get old.'
Reiterating the sentiment in the caption, Adrianne added: 'Let's normalise ageing without dye, botox or fillers! We create the impossible beauty standards other women feel they have to live up to.'
This post also drew a slew of comments, with many fans, again, praising Adrianne on her views on ageing.
'You're freaking gorgeous now!! Both beautiful at 18 and at 42!! Ageing is such an honour,' one fan wrote.
Another chimed in with a similar sentiment: 'I admire you for taking the grey hair in strides. I'm 45 and not there yet. I can't do it. To each their own though.'
A third said: 'Ageing is such a privilege!!! Let's all get old and embrace every phase as we age... we are all beautiful at all ages!'
Adrianne rose to stardom as the very first winner of America's Next Top Model in 2003 and even met her now ex-husband, Christopher Knight, on the VH1 reality show, The Surreal Life.
Despite catapulting to fame and modelling for the likes of Marie Claire and Ed Hardy, Adrianne ultimately decided to leave Hollywood after she found herself seriously considering a job for face fillers at age 32.
Now, Adrianne is enjoying a more peaceful existence in Montana that is worlds away from the life she once knew in Hollywood.
'It's like a complete reversal of where I used to be, and I feel richer than I ever was, and I have less than I ever did,' she told People in July.
'I want to die and leave this earth with people saying good things about me in terms of who I was to them, as opposed to accomplishments or how many Prada bags I have,' she said.

'The Traitors' is opening its doors to everyday people. Here's how you can join the TV competition

The U.S. version of ' The Traitors ' has brought a group of public figures to a castle in the Scottish Highlands for a game of deceit, with hundreds of thousands of dollars up for grabs. Now, the Emmy award-winning competition will open its doors to everyday people. NBC is now casting for a civilian version of the popular Peacock series, the network announced Thursday. The competition reality series, an American spin-off to its British counterpart, had only cast celebrities for its first three seasons, the last of which aired early this year. The new version will bring a group of everyday people together to play what the host, Alan Cumming, called his 'treacherous game' in a video announcing the public casting. Cumming is set to host the new version as well, with production for the show starting in 2026, according to the network. Those who are interested in participating can apply now on the show's website. The fourth season of the celebrity version is set to launch next year, and a fifth season has already been confirmed. The star-studded cast for season 4, announced in June, includes reality stars from 'Love Island,' 'Big Brother' and 'Survivor.' 'We're thrilled to be working with NBC to open up the experience to a new group of civilian players, whose stories and strategies will make the gameplay even more unpredictable – and, we hope, even more addictive for viewers,' Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, the producers of both the Peacock and NBC versions, said in a statement. The show features a group of contestants who participate in a murder mystery game similar to Clue or Mafia. A subset of the cast are secretly labeled as traitors and must work together to eliminate the other contestants, who are considered faithfuls. On the line is a prize fund worth up to $250,000. If the faithful manage to eliminate all the traitors, then they share the money. But, if a traitor makes it to the end, they take it all. The British version uses the same location and has used civilian contestants from the start. Casting everyday people will allow complete strangers to meet for the first time, a 'unique opportunity' that 'will be an incredible watch,' said Sharon Vuong, the executive vice president of unscripted programming at NBCUniversal Entertainment. "This new version for NBC offers a unique opportunity for the cast and audience to meet each other for the first time and we know it will be incredible to watch,' Vuong said in a statement. The psychological adventure has found reality TV gold, and its third season premiered as the No. 1 unscripted series in the U.S., according to a release by NBC. The show also recently received five Emmy nominations for season three and previously took home two of the awards for season two.

Recollections may vary in the best Retros out now: SO LONG, SEE YOU TOMORROW, THE BATTLE OF THE VILLA FIORITA by Rumer Godden, DUEL DUET by Graham Greene

SO LONG, SEE YOU TOMORROW by William Maxwell (Vintage £9.99, 176pp) Based on real events of his 1920s childhood in rural Illinois, including his mother's early death, Maxwell voices an elderly narrator looking back on the tragic story of his friend Cletus Smith. Cletus's mother, Fern, had an affair with neighbouring farmer Lloyd Wilson, her husband Clarence's best friend, and they divorce. Driven to despair, Clarence shoots Lloyd dead before killing himself and Fern moves to Chicago with her son. Later, in Chicago, the boys meet in a school corridor and say nothing – causing a lifetime of regret for the narrator. But in retelling, he finds truth may be different from memory, and his search for forgiveness is fruitless. Extraordinary. THE BATTLE OF THE VILLA FIORITA by Rumer Godden (Virago £9.99, 304pp) When charismatic film director Rob arrives in their village, Fanny realises how suffocated she is by her marriage to Army colonel Darrell and raising their three children. So begins a passionate affair that ends in divorce and she and Rob flee to the beautiful Villa Fiorita, near Lake Garda. But devastated youngest child, Caddie, 11, travels with brother Hugh, 14, to the villa to bring their mother home – a mission complicated by the arrival of Rob's spoilt daughter and a boat accident. Descriptions of the Italian setting are gorgeous but the real strength is in the childlike perspective that cannot see Fanny's rekindled joy or the conflicting loyalties that dictate the ending. DUEL DUET by Graham Greene (Vintage Classics £18.99, 400pp) This ingenious volume of paired stories is a wonderful introduction to the short fiction of Graham Greene. Selected by novelist Yiyun Li, she creates either contrast (duel) or connection (duet) which sheds a new perspective on themes of conscience, crime, loneliness and fear. The twin children of The End Of The Party, holding hands in the dark to calm one's fear, sit alongside The Case For The Defence where an identical brother can save his sibling in a court case. The past and the future link The Innocent and The Destructors, and Cheap In August and The Moment of Truth both convey the power of human compassion in the face of impending death. A master at work.
