Gibson Southern advances to sectional championship with 9-1 win
HUNTINGBURG, Ind. (WEHT) — The Gibson Southern Titans pull away late to take down the Washington Hatchets 9-1 and advance to the sectional championship game.
The Titans will play the Jasper Wildcats in the Class 3A Sectional 31 championship game. The two will square off on June 2 at League Stadium.

Bucs head coach Todd Bowles said on the Pewter Report Podcast that the Buccaneers are finalizing plans to participate in joint practices with both the Titans and the Steelers during training camp. 'We're working on having joint practices with two of them – the Titans and the Steelers,' Bowles said. The Titans will be in Tampa bay for a preseason game on August 9, and the Bucs will be in Pittsburgh for a preseason game on August 16. Joint practices typically take place a couple days before preseason games. This will be the first time the Bucs have had joint practices with Bowles as head coach.

Otsego County high schools salute Class of 2025 in graduation ceremonies
GAYLORD — Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2025 were held recently at three Otsego County schools. Six graduates of the Vanderbilt Area School were acknowledged in a ceremony at the school on Thursday, May 29. Over 200 students received their diplomas from Gaylord High School in front of family and friends at the football field on Friday, May 30.
