On the eighth anniversary of director SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', the film's producer, Shobu Yarlagadda announced the re-release of the 'Baahubali' films. While the first part released in 2015, the second instalment hit theatres in 2017. As 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the first instalment, the makers have planned a grand re-release along with new reveals and surprises in store.
Monday marked the eighth anniversary of 'Baahubali 2' and producer Shobu decided to make it extra special for the film's fans. "And on this special day, I am thrilled to inform you all that we are planning an Indian and international re-release of @BaahubaliMovie in October this year. It won't just be a re-release, it will be a year of celebration for our beloved fans! Expect nostalgia, new reveals, and a few epic surprises along the way. In 2022, Rajamouli said, "Over the course of my career I learnt that the stronger the emotions, or more basic the emotions, the more people tend to like your movie. That's what I have been doing. When I saw how 'Baahubali' was liked by the entire country, I realised that if films are based on stories driven by basic human emotions, they will have a wider reach."
'Baahubali' features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and several others in important roles.

Wo dono ek doosre ke well-wisher hain. Bohot achhe se baat karte hain (I've seen Ishaan and Janhvi work together, and they are very comfortable with each other. They are well-wishers and talk very nicely to one another)." The 'Homebound' actor clarified about the possible misinterpretation of Janhvi-Ishaan's viral video from Cannes, where he was seen holding her gown as she went on stage. "At Cannes, I remember holding her outfit's trail and was struggling to figure out how to hold it properly. I was just trying to help her. And when Janhvi was climbing up, Ishaan was offering his hand. She was holding her clothes, which is probably why she didn't take his hand," the actor added.
