Who is in the cast of Survivor 50? Memphis castaway set to compete in Fiji once again
Season 50 of the hit reality show "Survivor" is set to air in 2026, but unlike seasons past, we already know some of the castaways, including one from Memphis.
Quintavius "Q" Burdette who competed to be the "lone survivor" on Season 46 of the show, is headed back to Fiji to compete with other previous castaways against each other in group and individual challenges for the title of "sole survivor" and the $1 million cash prize that comes with it.
For 25 years, "Survivor" has entertained millions as groups of sometimes 20 competed to be the lone survivor. And to celebrate the 50th season, some of the original cast members are making their way back to the beaches of Fiji for "Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans".
But for "Survivor" 50 there will be a bit of a twist, with the fans holding the power to decide some of the key elements of gameplay prior to filming, including whether to have hidden immunity idols available for players and if there will be a final four fire-making challenge.

From Le Bouchon to the lakefront: Shea Couleé's ultimate Chicago day
Chicago's drag queen superstar Shea Couleé is joining Trixie Mattel for her " Solid Pink Disco" DJ set and show at the Salt Shed on Thursday. Context: Couleé is arguably the most successful drag queen from Chicago, slaying "RuPaul's Drag Race" several times, including taking home the crown in All-Stars season 5 in 2020. Couleé has been performing drag since 2012 at legendary local clubs like Roscoe's and the now-closed Berlin. She's also a recording artist and a model. The latest: The entertainer has crossed over to scripted television, starring in "Abbott Elementary" and the upcoming Marvel series "Ironheart." What to watch for: Couleé is the scheduled opener tonight, but Mattel will most likely bring her "Drag Race" alum back onstage during her set. The bottom line: Couleé still lives here, so we reached out to get the beloved performer's perfect day in Chicago. 🥐 Breakfast: "I'm going to Lost Larson in Andersonville. I'm going to get a lavender latte, an almond croissant, and if I'm really feeling feisty, I'll add in one of their signature quiches." 🏋️♀️ Morning activity: "Normally, my routine is going to start with me getting up and going to the gym. I go to this fierce Queer gym called Cheetah Gym. Yes, it's very ferocious. After I read some emails, I'll give myself a little break to read or play some video games like Fortnite or Dead by Daylight." 🍕Lunch: "I'm going to keep it really simple and go to Pizza Lobo because I love their quickfire NYC-style thin crust pizzas and their Caesar salad is on another level. It's such a cute little lunch spot with picnic tables, self-service, and the food is amazing." 🛼 Afternoon activity: "Let's assume this is during the months with beautiful weather outside, so maybe I'll pop on my rollerblades and go blading down the lakefront path for some cute views of the city. My soundtrack will probably be my K-pop faves: Katseye, BLACKPINK, and LE SSERAFIM." 🥣 Dinner: "Let me go to Le Bouchon for some really amazing French onion soup. Their menu is always changing, so it's hard to know what to expect. Their potato and leek soup is also amazing."

Indy readies for dual WNBA All-Star, Indiana Black Expo celebration
Regardless of the forecast, mid-July is poised to be the hottest stretch of summer in Indianapolis. Why it matters: Indiana Black Expo's Summer Celebration and WNBA All-Star 2025 sharing calendar and venue space means the city will need to accommodate two marquee events and countless community-focused initiatives all at once. What they're saying: Mel Raines, CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, said the first call she made after being contacted by the league about All-Star hosting duties was IBE president and CEO Alice Watson. "We wanted to be sure that that was something that Alice and the organization thought would be complementary to what they were doing, and that we could sort of coexist in downtown together. And she quickly got back to me and said, 'I think this is a great opportunity and I think we could work together in a really cool way.' And so we've been off to the races since then," Raines said. "This is really the most exciting time not only for Indiana Black Expo or PS&E, but for the city of Indianapolis," Watson said. "None of us will be sleeping. We'll just keep going and going and going." Catch up quick: Summer Celebration starts July 11 with the Ecumenical Service at New Direction Church and ends July 20 with the IBE's Gospel Explosion at the Indiana Convention Center. All proceeds generated by the event support IBE's year-round initiatives related to education, business development, community learning, performing arts, college scholarships and more. WNBA All-Star tips off July 18, featuring the inaugural Fever Fest concert at White River State Park and culminating in the sold-out game the next day. A skills challenge and three-point shootout are among the on-court highlights, while off-court action includes the return of "Indy's Home Court," a downtown takeover of arts and culture events first seen during last year's NBA All-Star game. State of play: Four Indiana nonprofits have received $1 million in grants to create a lasting legacy around the All-Star event. Here's what they're working on. Fletcher Place Community Center: Enhancements to early learning facilities and community spaces. The Parks Alliance of Indianapolis: Renovation of the basketball court at Al E. Polin Park. Marion County Commission on Youth: Facility renovations and the launch of a student ambassador program for 25 female high school students. Marvella Foundation: Development of a "Championship Arena" at its Fair Oaks Farms campus in Newton County. Zoom in: Other community engagement plans include an effort to help women entrepreneurs obtain women-owned business enterprise certification and free Zumba sessions held across Indy in partnership with Centers of Wellness for Urban Women. Meanwhile, donors and volunteers are still needed for All-Star Cure on July 12-13. The event is a partnership between the host committee and the Susan G. Komen Tissue Bank that invites up to 500 women to donate healthy breast tissue in support of cancer research. What's next: More announcements, including celebrity guests to be added to Summer Celebration's guest list for the education conference on July 17, and the Style Zone July 18-20.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton's historic stat line brings new Chris Paul appreciation
The post Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton's historic stat line brings new Chris Paul appreciation appeared first on ClutchPoints. Tyrese Haliburton delivered a historic performance on Tuesday night, leading the Indiana Pacers to a 130-121 Game 4 win over the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals and pushing his team to a commanding 3-1 series lead. The All-Star guard finished with 32 points, 15 assists, 12 rebounds, and four steals while shooting 11-of-23 from the field. He recorded a game-high plus-minus of +16 and did not commit a single turnover. Advertisement Haliburton's stat line marked a first in NBA playoff history. Since turnovers began being officially tracked in the 1977-78 season, no player had ever recorded at least 30 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds with zero turnovers in a postseason game. He joins Oscar Robertson and Nikola Jokic as the only players to ever reach those point, rebound, and assist totals in a playoff game — but neither did so without a turnover. Tyrese Haliburton's mistake-free mastery in Game 4 deepens Chris Paul comparisons as Pacers near NBA Finals Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images The performance once again fueled comparisons to veteran point guard Chris Paul. Known for his elite decision-making and ball security, Paul has long been considered the gold standard for floor generals in the modern era. Advertisement ClutchPoints reporter Tomer Azarly noted on X, formerly known as Twitter, 'Tyrese Haliburton just recorded his 23rd career game of 10 assists and 0 turnovers, his 1st in the postseason. Chris Paul has 60(!!!) regular season games and 7 playoff games of 10 assists and 0 turnovers.' The conversation surrounding Haliburton's similarities to Paul intensified earlier in the week when former NBA forward Marcus Morris appeared on ESPN's First Take and drew a direct comparison. 'I think we're just so used to saying a superstar is athletic in a bigger market,' Morris said. 'What Haliburton is doing is similar to what Chris Paul's doing. We said Chris Paul was a superstar, right? Chris Paul was the ultimate general… he made guys better, he's won games.' The Pacers have now won three straight games and can close out the series on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. Game 5 tips off at 8:00 p.m. ET and will air on TNT. If Indiana advances, it would mark the franchise's first NBA Finals appearance since 2000. Haliburton's efficient, high-impact performance has defined Indiana's postseason run. With each passing game, the comparisons to Paul gain more weight — not only in play style but in the rare ability to control the pace, elevate teammates, and perform on the biggest stage without mistakes.
