YOU GLOW GIRL I knocked 5 years off my age with TWO quick beauty swaps – people say I'm in my 'clean girl' era & 'look so much better'

The so-called ''clean girl'' aesthetic promotes enhancing natural beauty - rather than covering it up.
With a glow-down, out are the hair extensions, fake nails and lash extensions - and in is learning how to take care of your skin to make it radiant.
As beauty buffs are learning to love and rock their authentic selves, thousands have taken to social media to show off their epic transformations - including TikTok user Nicole (@glitchnicole).
For the past six years, Nicole had been getting facial fillers - and while at the time she didn't care what others had to say about the look, Nicole recently decided she was ready for a major change.
''It made me really happy. But now, I'm in a different stage and I wanted to reverse it - and I just did it,'' she said in a video posted this week.
''It is my body, my choice and my happiness. I'm really happy with my decision now but I'm not going to deny, I was also really happy then - and that is exactly the point.
''You don't always change something because you hate yourself - sometimes you do it simply because you want to, because it feels right for you.''
Nicole added that while she loved that people were ''going natural'', there could be a time where she could return to fillers - if that's what she wanted.
As well as ditching fillers for the time being, the beauty buff has also said goodbye to another popular trend - hair extensions.
Up until the jaw-dropping makeover, the TikToker was sporting Rapunzel-like hair - which weighed a whopping 400g, she revealed in a follow-up clip.
I've lost 9 stone & am barely recognisable from my former self - my transformation's so insane people even think it's AI
According to the stunner, the transformation has knocked off ''five years of age'' - and it's all thanks to giving up these two looks.
But while Nicole may eventually have facial fillers again, one thing is clear - social media users cannot get enough of her new self.
Posted just two days ago, the glow-down has racked up more than 150k views, with hundreds in awe at how much younger she looked.
Four ways to give yourself a glowdown
Thick fluffly lashes are out, so is the fake tan and long nails...here's how to have the ultimate glow-down in four steps...
The term "glow-down" refers to a woman removing what once was the most popular beauty choices, for a more natural look.
Eyelash extensions - Thick, bold "Russian lashes" used to be all the rage, but nowadays, girls are opt for subtle, individual eyelash extensions to lengthen what they already have.
Nails - Gone are the long, plastic talons, more women are favouring BIAB or gel manis.
Hair colour - Remember when everyone wanted icy white hair? Not anymore! Millions of women are trying to go back to their roots (literally), and have soft blondes, and warm gold tones added to their hair, in a bid to achieve the "old money blonde" look.
Makeup - Sculpting your face shape through the art of contouring is no more. Ladies are adding freckles and sweeping blush across cheekbones instead.
One person wrote: ''You look SOOO much better. Younger. More vibrant.''
Another fan agreed, adding: ''Incredible honestly!! Best decision you've made to remove them fillers.''
Someone else chimed in: ''An angel got her wings back.''
''Absolutely YES! You looked like you were already in your 40s!! Now you're glowing,'' a viewer commented.
''I'm Dutch, and even for a Dutch person I can be very straight forward. So my honest opinion: best decision ever and please don't ever do it again!'' a fan begged,
''You look way better, healthier, powerful, elegant, beautiful than before. Well done that lady!''

'Skibidi' among 6,000 words added to Cambridge dictionary
Words popularised by Gen Z and Gen Alpha including "skibidi", "delulu", and "tradwife" are among 6,000 new entries to the online edition of the Cambridge Dictionary over the last year, its publisher said. Cambridge University Press said tradwife, a portmanteau of traditional wife, reflected "a growing, controversial Instagram and TikTok trend that embraces traditional gender roles". The dictionary also took on the challenge of defining skibidi, a word popularised in online memes, as a term which had "different meanings such as cool or bad, or can be used with no real meaning". The gibberish word was spread by a YouTube channel called "Skibidi Toilet" and is associated with the mindless, "brain rot" content found on social media and consumed by Gen Alpha's overwhelmingly digital lifestyle. The dictionary defined delulu, derived from the word delusional, as "believing things that are not real or true, usually because you choose to". As an example, it cited a 2025 speech in parliament where Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese used the phrase "delulu with no solulu". "It's not every day you get to see words like skibidi and delulu make their way into the Cambridge Dictionary," said Colin McIntosh, Lexical Programme manager at the Cambridge Dictionary. "We only add words where we think they'll have staying power. Internet culture is changing the English language and the effect is fascinating to observe and capture in the Dictionary." Other new phrases include "lewk", used to describe a unique fashion look and popularised by RuPaul's Drag Race, and "inspo", short for inspiration. Work from home culture has given rise to "mouse jiggler", referring to a way to pretend to work when you are not. There is also "forever chemical", man-made chemicals that stay in the environment for years and have gained traction as concerns grow about the irreversible impact of climate change on the health of humans and the plant.

WATCH: TikTok delighted by French dad's take on the Irish language
An Irish woman has sparked laughter across the internet after posting a TikTok of her French husband doing his best — and failing spectacularly — to read in Irish to their young child. What was meant to be a sweet bedtime moment quickly turned into comedy gold, as the husband's valiant attempts at pronouncing words left native speakers both charmed and deeply confused. From unexpected syllables to a cadence no Gaeilgeoir had ever heard before, the video has taken Irish TikTok by storm, leaving viewers torn between correcting him and begging for more. TikToker @littlebookofkim, lovingly captioned the video: 'just walked in on my french husband reading to our baby in Irish with a very….original accent.' The clip has already garnered over 80K views online, with many taking to the comment to revel in the hilarity. 'This is the opposite of ronan o'gara speaking french in the thickest cork accent ever lol,' one user joked. Many have referenced Ronan O'Gara's attempt at speaking French in a heavy Cork accent in the comments. Pic: INPHO/Dan Sheridan 'Tiocfaidh ár ooh lá lá,' another jested. 'Points for effort. Not a word did I get,' a third stressed. While the francophone may get an A for effort, I don't see him presenting on TG4 any time soon!

Beauty buff Coco Pons went viral on TikTok earlier this month after she shared an adorable make-up video with her mum, 59, before heading to a wedding. 2 Many said Coco looked ''the same age'' as her mum - who is more than 25 years older Credit: TIKTOK/@curatedbycoco___ 2 The US-based TikToker posted a follow-up message hitting back at the meanie Credit: TIKTOK/@curatedbycoco___ In the video, which has since racked up close to 7million views, the wholesome mother and daughter duo could be seen doing their make-up and hair. But while the two stunners looked incredible both with and without the glowy make-up, the clip, unfortunately, landed on the so-called 'wrong side of TikTok'. Hiding behind their profiles, thousands of online trolls flooded to comments, where many said Coco looked ''the same age'' as her mum - who is more than 25 years older. While some wondered if the two were ''sisters'', others dubbed the cute duo ''older twins'', as they begged Coco to start using ''sunscreen''. Meanwhile, some brutal viewers refused to believe the daughter was 25 - and others shared their unsolicited beauty tips to ''look younger''. After reading the thousands of ''awful and nasty'' comments about her looks, the US-based TikToker posted a follow-up message hitting back at the meanies. Sharing a series of snaps of herself and her mum, Coco said: ''I've never had anything done to my face because I felt like it wasn't necessary. ''I've always had freckles and pale skin because I'm a ginger,'' said Coco who posts under the username @curatedbycoco___. Coco, who's always sported ''blonde eyebrows'' trolls urged her to dye ''darker'', added that she's also using sun cream - despite what some may think. ''I have, wear a tonne of sunscreen because I live at the beach - and I've never entered a tanning bed in my life.'' I've lost 9 stone & am barely recognisable from my former self - my transformation's so insane people even think it's AI She went on: ''I don't remember asking others for opinions. And I couldn't care less what random people think about us. ''Keep your comments to yourself next time speaking about someone looks,'' Coco urged everyone to be kinder in the caption. A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that turmeric and curcumin may help prevent DNA damage and aid in DNA repair. This is promising news for disease prevention and slowing the ageing process. It also: Boosts Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that maintains the skin's elasticity and firmness. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Turmeric helps stimulate collagen synthesis, thereby promoting firmer and more youthful skin. Improves Skin Health: Turmeric has been shown to improve various skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the skin, reduce redness, and promote a clearer complexion. One fan said: ''PEOPLE ONLINE ARE MISERABLE!!!! You're beautiful!'' Someone else chimed in: ''you're just a happy person with smile lines why is everyone so mean.'' A third commented: ''You are STUNNING. Unsolicited opinion, I think if you filled in your brows darker it would have a youthful effect. But truly you look your age and are gorgeous.'' Meanwhile, another wrote: ''As a fellow ginger we are more prone to sunburn which means drier, wrinkle prone skin. ''Many people are overdoing it but both you guys need/needed to protect your skin more. People wouldn't point it out if it wasn't in our face.''
