Singer Mika Singh and critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) are in a heated feud. Mika threatened to slap KRK over a diss video on him.
The ongoing war of words between singer Mika Singh and self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) has gotten a whole lot more intense. After KRK released a diss video targeting Mika, the singer didn't hold back and declared that he's ready to settle the score — with a slap. The feud between the two has been simmering for a while
Speaking to Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, Mika opened up about how he confronted KRK at the start of the year. He said he gave KRK a New Year's call but not to exchange pleasantries. Mika explained that he made sure KRK was alone before calling him out directly.
'I told him, 'Gadhe tune phir mujhe galiya dedi. Tu pagal hai kya (Donkey, you again abused me. Are you mad?). Listen, I love you, but when you come to Mumbai next time, I will definitely slap you. Tell this to whoever you want. Whenever you meet me next, I will slap you, whether in front of the media or alone and will tell you your mistake,'" Mika said, not mincing words.
As for KRK's reaction? According to Mika, it was far from confrontational. 'He didn't respond to me. He just said, 'Happy New Year bhai,'" Mika added.
Earlier, during a chat with The Lallantop, Mika shared that he and Honey Singh once paid a visit to KRK's home in Dubai. They were upset over the way KRK spoke about them in his videos and apparently, they didn't hold back in showing their displeasure.
'KRK had said something about Honey. He was very upset and told me, 'paaji yeh aisaa aisaa bolta hai.' Ayushmann Khurrana and Kapil Sharma were also very upset with KRK. So, I told Honey, 'We'll go to him, visit him in Dubai, and talk. We'll act as if both of us are drunk. He will abuse us, but you do whatever you want with him.' We were very rude to him. The next day, KRK told us that we had behaved very badly with him. And I told him that I don't remember anything because we were drunk. Apparently, we pulled his hair…"
After the Dubai episode, KRK had dissed Mika in a video saying, 'Mika is a donkey. He is uneducated, uncouth, and still calls himself a singer. He said that I met him in Dubai and that he misbehaved with me. The next day, he told me he didn't remember what happened. He is right, he met me in Dubai and kept calling me for days, so I invited him home. He promised he'd show up but didn't. The next day, I asked his manager about it, and apparently, Mika was afraid that I would kidnap him. What would I gain by kidnapping this loser? He's a nobody."

Rana Daggubati On Deepika Padukone's 8-Hour Workday Request: "Nobody Is Forcing You..."

New Delhi: Deepika Padukone's exit from Spirit, directed by Animal filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has sparked conversations around work conditions and contractual terms in the Indian film industry. The actor, who recently became a mother, was reportedly dropped from the Prabhas-starrer due to differences over an 8-hour workday clause and profit-sharing arrangements. What Amid the ongoing debate, actor Rana Daggubati shared his perspective during an interview with The Lallantop. "We should understand that India is a developing country. We are not a developed nation. Our economy is probably 186th in the world if you look at per capita income," Rana said. He added, "In a country that has 1.8 billion people and 70-80 percent of those earn Rs 100 a day, when we start seeing things in that light, we realise we have a big place to catch up." Speaking about his experience in the Telugu film industry, he shared, "I come from an industry that moved from Madras. It was a bunch of families and hundreds of others who packed their bags and started over in another city. So to me, it's not work- it's a lifestyle." Rana also noted the differences in work culture across regions. "Like in Maharashtra, it's a 12-hour shift. In Telugu, it's 8 hours. But while Maharashtra starts at 9 am, Telugu starts at 7 am. If you're on location or in a studio, if you're shooting on a set, it all affects the equation. It's never generic," he explained. On the issue of actors being overworked or asked to extend their hours, Rana said, "Nobody is forcing anybody. It's a job. Just like nobody forces you to do a particular show - it's always a choice. Everyone decides what's important in their life. There are actors who shoot for only 4 hours, that's their system." Background Following Deepika's exit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga appeared to react strongly on social media. In a post on X, he wrote, "There is an unsaid NDA between us. But by doing this, you've 'disclosed' the person that you are." He also accused the actress of trying to "put down a younger actor" and questioned her feminism, adding, "You didn't get it. You won't get it. You will never get it." He added, "Aisa karo.... Agli baar poori kahani bolna... kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames. I like this kahawath very much!" Following Padukone's reported exit, actor Triptii Dimri has been confirmed as the female lead in Spirit. Dimri, who previously appeared in Vanga's Animal, announced the news on social media by sharing the film's title poster with her name written in multiple Indian and international languages. In the caption, she wrote, "Still sinking in... So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @ Honoured to be a part of your vision." Meanwhile, reports also suggested that the actress might be dropped from Kalki 2, starring Prabhas, due to her request for shorter work hours post-motherhood. A report by stated that this request is reportedly causing "friction on sets." However, no official statement has been issued by Padukone or the makers. A source close to the development has since refuted the claims, calling the reports "untrue". In A Nutshell Deepika Padukone was reportedly dropped from the film Spirit due to reported issues over work hours and profit sharing. The film's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, reacted strongly online without naming her. Actor Rana Daggubati later shared a more balanced view, saying work rules differ in each industry.

Dismissing these rumours, he confirmed that the film is a theatrical-only release. Viewers who miss catching it on the big screen, he hinted, might not get another chance. He said he is happy with what the team has created but admitted he has 'no idea' how the audience will receive it. Citing a recurring issue throughout his career, he remarked that his films often release at the wrong time. 'The last 12 films have been action and blockbusters,' he noted, underscoring his worry that Sitaare Zameen Par might get overshadowed despite being a 'heartwarming and beautiful story.'

Parmeet Sethi calls vlogging his ‘second career', reveals sons want to become actors: ‘They audition every week…'

Archana Puran Singh, along with her husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons Aryamann and Ayushmaan, have gained immense popularity with their vlogs on YouTube. In fact, they even documented their recent holiday in Switzerland. In an interview with SCREEN, Parmeet opened up about their trip, making kids fly economy, and their rising fame. In one of their vlogs, their sons revealed that their parents Archana and Parmeet didn't allow them to fly in business class with them, and asked them to earn their own money to enjoy the privilege. When asked about the same, he shared, 'We have always tried to keep our children grounded, as normal as possible and keeping them away from the trappings of being in a filmy family. Jitna normal ho sake itna rakhne ki koshish ki hai humne. We have more or less succeeded.' Parmeet continued, 'We taught them that just because you are a star kid, you won't get any special attention, status or treatment. So, earn your livelihood, and at the same time, earn your respect. The beauty shouldn't come to you in your lap. This is what we have inculcated in them since the beginning. They understand that and agree to it. When they travelled in business class with their own money, that joy was incomparable. It was ten times more than your parents handing you a ticket.' 'Aryamann has a music career and also wants to become an actor. Ayushman only wants to become an actor. He is really looking for a lead role in a series or film. Both are auditioning every week. They have been preparing themselves from the last 2-3 years with Atul Mongia classes and everything. They are itching to come on screen now,' he said. With over 7 lakh subscribers on YouTube, Parmeet feels that this could be a second innings of his career, something that the family wasn't expecting. 'It makes me happy that millions of people are watching us. We were not expecting it – socha tha 20-25K views ajayenge and now it's in millions. We all are very grateful. It's like a second career for me. Archana, I and the kids have started taking it seriously. Maybe it is the plan B which is coming good,' he reflected. Has it proved to be more fruitful than his career as an actor? 'It has proved to be more fruitful, definitely. We started it because we believe that this is the future and we wanted to be a part of it. The entertainment landscape is changing rapidly,' he replied. 'It is coming to your phone screen. My sons were recognised on the roads of Switzerland. More than us, they were being stopped for selfies. They are the new kids on the block, people wanted to talk to them. It makes my heart so happy,' Parmeet concluded.
