The Eid Getaway Edit with Lebanese Fashion Influencer Reina Aris
This week's Scene Selects is all about weekend escapes— just in time to plot your Eid escape.
Reina Aris makes balance look easy. Whether she's breezing through a Lagree class, curating a clean, off-duty look, or serving banana pudding at her pop-up café, there's a quiet intention behind it all.
At 22, she's built a lifestyle brand around fashion, fitness, and food—interests shaped early on by her mother's timeless style. 'She made me fall in love with fashion as a form of self-expression,' Aris says. Today, that influence lives on in her wardrobe: part Chanel and Miu Miu, part Source Unknown and Adanola—elegant, unfussy, and always moving.
Her next move? An activewear line that blends performance with identity. 'I want to create a space where people feel confident, motivated, and comfortable being themselves—on and off the gym floor.'
Then there's The Brunch Club, her seasonal café where coffee, matcha, and warm desserts set the tone. 'It brings together everything I love—good food, a calm atmosphere, and real connection.'
For Aris, these aren't separate lanes—they're part of the same rhythm: a considered way of living that's less about perfection, more about feeling good in your own skin.
A Night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Dubai's RTA has updated metro, tram, and parking schedules for Eid Al Adha. From June 4–7, Metro will run from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Tram from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Jun 03, 2025 Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced revised transit schedules and parking arrangements to accommodate the Eid Al Adha holiday period. From June 4 to June 7, Dubai Metro stations on both the Red and Green lines will operate extended hours, running daily from 5 a.m. until 1 a.m. During the same period, the Dubai Tram service will be available from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. In addition, drivers can benefit from free parking in all public parking areas—excluding multistorey car parks—between June 5 and June 8. This coincides with the official Eid holiday, during which employees across both public and private sectors will be on leave, with work resuming on Monday, June 9. In terms of bus services, Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi will be suspended from June 4 until June 8. Commuters are advised to use Route E101, which will continue to operate normally between Ibn Battuta Bus Station and Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, Route E102 will be altered to run directly from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Zayed International Airport, skipping the Ibn Battuta and Musaffah stops. The RTA encourages all commuters to download the S'hail app for the latest updates and schedules throughout the Eid holiday, ensuring smooth and hassle-free travel during the festive season.
