However, The Sun revealed how Jacqueline and Dan seemed to have rekindled their marriage during a "make or break" holiday in Mexico.
EastEnders actress Jacqueline, 32, smiled from the stands on Sunday while watching Dan play in a charity football match.
Dan, 33, took part in the Sellebrity Soccer Match at Gillingham Football Club.
The family - also including the children and Jac's mum Selina - headed to Mexico last month for a holiday.
An onlooker at the five-star, £380-a-night Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya told us 'Dan and Jac looked like any normal couple.
'There were a few Brits at the resort, but no one recognised them and they were left alone to relax and enjoy quality time together.
'It seemed that having Jac's mum there to help with the kids gave them some extra time together.'
It comes as the former Towie star sparked concern about the pair's relationship status with a cryptic quote.
Although Dan's social media update didn't mention Jacqueline, he shared a snap of a quote referencing "leaving" something if you "can't change it".
As shared on his Instagram stories, the words read: "There are three solutions to every problem.

"Accept it, change it, leave it.
"If you can't change it, leave it."
Upon revealing they'd decided to part ways, the pair issued a statement to The Sun on Sunday saying: 'Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately.
"Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents — something that will never change.'

Love Island casting comes under fire AGAIN after it's revealed star had TikTok account where he ‘secretly films women'
He insisted he's a good, normal guy after being quizzed by cops over a machete attack. VILLA BAD BOY Love Island casting comes under fire AGAIN after it's revealed star had TikTok account where he 'secretly films women' AXED Love Island hunk Kyle Ashman took part in 'misogynistic' videos with a pal where they secretly filmed women. The lad was struck from the dating show line-up earlier this week after it was revealed that he had been held and questioned by police over a machete attack at a wake. Advertisement 3 Kyle was axed from the show earlier this week Credit: Instagram Now it has been revealed that he had a joint TikTok and YouTube page with a friend called Fin Musker. Whilst the joint pages have been wiped of content, a source has told The Sun that the videos involved them 'picking up girls and filming them without knowledge'. The source added that the videos 'displayed misogynistic behaviour towards women'. Some content still online shows Fin and Kyle out on the town, kissing women and speaking to them in bars. Advertisement When approached about the videos, Kyle did not wish to comment. It raises further question marks about ITV's vetting process for its reality shows. Earlier this week Kyle was sent packing from Majorca after The Sun alerted show bosses that he had been arrested on suspicion of a machete attack and was only cleared by police last month - meaning he would've been in discussion with authorities whilst auditioning for Love Island. ITV chiefs sent him home from Majorca, plunging the show into chaos ahead of Monday's launch. Advertisement A source said: 'All of the online content had been cleared so may not have come up on surface level checks, but for this kind of show far deeper trawls should be in place. 'ITV has steered clear of OnlyFans stars in the past and Kyle's link to one - particularly taking part in joint content of a misogynistic nature - is surely not in keeping with Love Island being a family show.' Love Island's Kyle Ashman reveals he wants show return as Casa Amor hunk after being axed over machete attack on dad ITV declined to comment. Ashman, 23, was one of two quizzed over a brutal machete attack at a wake in Stafford in February but was released with no further action. Advertisement Sources said the channel was unaware of the incident and he was not flagged as part of contestant checks. The victim, 38, nearly lost his arm. He was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and kept in for around two weeks. Another mourner was glassed, one struck with a metal pole, and two people run over by a car during the 15 minutes of terror at a social club. Ashman, who lives in the town, was one of two men to be nicked on suspicion of affray then bailed. Advertisement Police confirmed that after the matter had been investigated the pair were released with no further action only last month. Speaking after he was axed from the show, he said: "I'm not a bad guy, honestly. I'm a normal guy from a normal place. An opportunity arose to find love and I grabbed it with both hands, and it's been taken away from me. "I've seen the support pages and, who knows, maybe I'll get the chance to go on Casa Amor or as a bombshell, go back in and show you who I really am. Show you I'm not a bad guy. We'll see." 3 He was quizzed by cops over a machete attack that happened in February Credit: Instagram/@kyleashmantr Advertisement 3 He was released without charge and insists he's a normal guy Credit: Instagram

Brits most likely to say ‘yes' to new opportunities at 27
A poll of 2,000 adults found 69 per cent admit they 'play it safe' in life, with 39 per cent determined to say 'yes' more often. And the average adult typically turns something down as often as twice a week. It also emerged just 26 per cent of over 35s feel they are more likely to say yes to opportunities now, than they did 20 years ago. Of those who felt the opposite, being settled into a routine (41 per cent) was considered the biggest barrier, while others blamed life being more complicated now (35 per cent), being too tired (33 per cent) and wanting to plan things in advance (33 per cent). And 59 per cent hope to be less 'afraid' of taking on new challenges in the future. One day I'll travel round the world and use a decade of my life to document it, Being in one country for so long makes me yearn for the greatness of what is to come The study was commissioned by Halfords, which is partnering with 'Yes Man', Danny Wallace, to highlight the positive benefits of being open to new experiences this summer. Danny Wallace said: "Twenty years ago I decided to say 'yes' to whatever came my way… and it led to the best adventures. 'I went places I would never have gone and I met people I'd never have met. I tried new things and made new memories. So, when Halfords asked me to celebrate twenty years by hopping in a car and trying more new stuff, it would have been weird to say no. 'Even though when they asked me if I'd like 'to go sea kayaking', I thought they meant they were just going to take me to 'see kayaking', which would have been a lot easier. 'That said, saying yes more is something we should all try and build into our days. Yes to something different or new. I wholeheartedly support you doing the same this summer.' The study also revealed the top things Brits would like to try for the first time, with mastering a foreign language topping the list (21 per cent). Others would like to skydive or learn a musical instrument (both 15 per cent) or even move abroad (14 per cent). Go to more gigs and concerts (13 per cent), get a tattoo (13 per cent) and run a marathon (12 per cent) also featured in the top 20 list. Commissioned via OnePoll, it also found 27 per cent have been told by others that they should say yes more often. But 62 per cent reckon they'd be much more inclined to try something new if they were able to prepare for it in advance. TOP 20 THINGS BRITS WOULD LIKE TO SAY YES TO FOR THE FIRST TIME: 1. Master a foreign language 2. Skydive 3. Learn a musical instrument 4. Move abroad 5. Move to the countryside 6. Go to more gigs and concerts 7. Retire 8. Get a tattoo 9. Go down a zip wire 10. Run a marathon 11. Learn how to dance 12. Climb a mountain 13. Try surfing 14. Travel solo 15. Start a new career 16. Sea kayaking 17. Go on a roadtrip 18. Take up yoga 19. Move to a different city 20. Paint or draw Recommended reading: Paul Ray, from Halfords, which is encouraging people to give their car a 'Free 5 Point Summer Check' to ensure it's ready for adventure, said: 'While Brits might get set in their ways, 62 per cent feel they would be more likely to say YES if they felt ready for anything, especially when the sun's out and the kids are off school. 'Saying 'yes' more often can open doors you didn't even know existed. "Whether it's trying something new, meeting someone unexpected, or stepping slightly out of your comfort zone, those small yeses can add up to big life shifts. 'Don't let worrying about the car be the reason you say 'no' to a last-minute trip to the beach or a spontaneous camping weekend.'

Sophie Habboo hits back after cruel backlash and nepotism accusations over her new Radio 1 job with Jamie Laing
Some listeners had threatened to switch off as they slammed the latest hiring by bosses Mic Drop Sophie Habboo hits back after cruel backlash and nepotism accusations over her new Radio 1 job with Jamie Laing SOPHIE Habboo has hit back at cruel backlash and nepotism accusations over her new BBC Radio 1 job with Jamie Laing. Station fans had previously threatened to switch off as they slammed the decision to put Made In Chelsea star Sophie, 30, on the airwaves as "gross". Advertisement 6 Sophie Habboo has hit back at cruel backlash and nepotism accusations over her new BBC Radio 1 job with Jamie Laing Credit: Instagram/@sophiehabboo 6 Fans had slammed the decision to put Made In Chelsea star Sophie on the airwaves Credit: The Mega Agency It came as former Strictly Come Dancing star Vick Hope, 35, left her presenting duties on the Going Home show to go on maternity leave. Sharing an expert from an i article to Instagram, Sophie wrote on her Stories today: "Thank you @carsonsarah @theipaper. "I've been reflecting on my first week of Radio 1 and it's been such a surreal experience to connect with the nation. I love it!!!" Chief Culture Writer Sarah Carson had praised Sophie in her opinion piece, claiming - while her hiring may not be "fair - the reality star still "deserved" her place. Advertisement She wrote: "The primary function of Radio 1 in the afternoons is providing a bit of distraction, energy, and silliness as people leave work or school. "It's not supposed to be challenging, or specialist - it's low-stakes, unwind, chatty stuff that needs someone sparky on the mic between the pre-made playlists. "Habboo is likeable, a sharp wit, withering, quick to laugh, and sweet. She's smart, comfortable being open about her relationship, self-effacing, and happy to indulge a bit of nonsense (she needs to be, being married to Laing). "She feels like a friend - the kind who gives you tough love while giving your arm a gentle squeeze - and she's got charisma. That counts for a lot more than skill and experience in this landscape." Advertisement Her comments were a far cry from some listeners, who had slammed the latest hiring by bosses. On the official social media account of BBC Radio 1, fans flocked to the comments section as they claimed the station has "fallen" in standards. Vick Hope finally reveals pregnancy - and date she's going on maternity leave from BBC Radio One One disgruntled listener fumed: "How far we've fallen from Vick and Jordan…" A second exclaimed: "There is something really gross, about two such privileged and independently wealthy (the Laings)given access to prime time national radio shows over people who have trained and studied for years in media." Advertisement "Please get some good DJs back in the drive time slot. It's getting embarrassing," stated a third user. While someone else raged: "Wealthy Reality stars just being handed roles for nothing now. They're sooo unrelatable." And a fifth added: "Im a big radio 1 fan but shouldve been jerry .....jamie and sophie is a bad move be a switch off for me sorry." Many longtime fans of the station directly blamed bosses for a decline as they hired "influencers". Advertisement They slammed the decision not to look for upcoming talent or give the role to an existing cover presenter who has trained for the job "for years". Another fan noted: "Where is the dislike button? "There are so many hard working and capable presenters covering gigs on R1 atm, how undermining that they weren't given the chance to show the listeners what they're capable of!!" Someone else agreed" "Really glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed by this update. Advertisement "It really doesn't sit right with me when there's people trying so hard to get a break. It's a no from me I'm afraid." Please get some good DJs back in the drive time slot. It's getting embarrassing Radio 1 fan While another added: "I think I'll be finding a different radio station to listen to for my 'going home' slot in the week now. "Something just doesn't sit right with me, that his wife has got the job… when there must be some amazing local talent & those that have worked really hard in the industry that will have been overlooked for celebrity privilege…" One more fan stated: "Radio 1 turning into a constant influencer podcast.. what happened to actually knowing music to being a radio DJ! Many years of listening, only holding on for Greg! Time to switch!"
