Cracker Barrel Swings to Profit on Slightly Higher Sales
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store CBRL 2.63%increase; green up pointing triangle swung to a profit and logged higher sales in its fiscal third quarter, buoyed in part by higher menu prices.
The restaurant chain on Thursday posted a profit of $12.6 million, or 56 cents a share, for its quarter ended May 2, compared with a loss of $9.2 million, or 41 cents a share, in last year's comparable quarter.
