JEREMEY Clarkson's popular farming show, which is launching a new series on May 23, has made the Cotswolds a go-to destination.
And whilst many fans flock to the 'celebrity playground' and spend hours in a queue to see Diddly Squat Farm Shop, there are several picturesque villages and attractions to explore nearby.

Just five minutes from the farm is the village of Churchill.
A slightly further drive away, are Kingham, Charlbury, Shipton-under-Wychwood, Milton-under-Wychwood and Bledington.
Tracy Archer, owner director at StayCotswold, said: "The scenery [of the Cotswolds] is gorgeous - with walks for everyone from those after a gentle weekend stroll to a serious hike.
"Our towns and villages are absolute gems too, packed with lovely shops, great pubs, cosy cafés, and restaurants full of artisan treats and local produce."
And there are more pubs to explore than just Jeremy's, such as Chequers at Churchill, The Fox at Broadwell, The Plough in Prestbury, The Chequers in Chipping Norton, The Kings Head in Bedington, The Fox at Great Barrington, The Feathered Nest at Nether Westcote.
As for things to do, Tracey said: "The Model Village at Bourton is always a hit, and Cotswold Motoring Museum is great for mini petrol heads.
"Try Cotswold Distillery for a fascinating tour with a refreshing tipple or relax at Cotswold Country Park and Beach."
"Quirky traditions also make this place unique.
"Where else can you watch football being played in an actual river like the team local to Bourton-on-the-Water do on a Bank Holiday Monday?
"Or people hurling themselves down a hill chasing cheese as happens every second May Bank Holiday at Coopers Hill in Cheltenham."

The regional calendar is packed with events too , including The Big Feastival, Cheltenham Races, Forest Live at Westonbirt, Wilderness Festival and many events at Blenheim Palace.
For food, Tracey claimed the Cotswolds has some of the best spots in the UK.
"The Bull at Charlbury, The Wild Rabbit in Kingham, and The Old Butchers in Stow are just a few local favourites.
"For something really special, check out Michelin-starred places like The Royal Oak at Whatcote, Lumiere or Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham."
One specific village that Tracey says is a must to see, is Chipping Norton.
The village is home to a theatre, a lido and Soho Farmhouse.

Tracey said: "Chippy theatre is not only a place to watch a fabulous show, it is also an arthouse cinema, gallery and concert hall.
"They pride themselves on bringing the local community together to experience art and entertainment, producing and co-producing their own work whilst also touring other venues across the country."
As for Chipping Norton's Lido, it features scenic surroundings and offers a great spot to refresh.
"If you're fortunate enough to be a member of the Soho House group, don't miss the chance to experience the luxurious Soho Farmhouse," Tracey added.
"Set in the tranquil Oxfordshire countryside, it's a haven of relaxation, offering spa treatments, restaurants, and a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life."
Nearby, at Larksworld, two best friends - Melinda and Emma - host crafting workshops.
Tracey shared: "From willow sculpture to basket weaving, silversmith and scented candle making workshops their studio overlooks a wild meadow so makes for the perfect place to get your craft on."

For a spot of history, visitors can head to the Great Rollright Stones - a neolithic stone circle with a fascinating history, located on the Oxfordshire and Warwickshire border.
"Wander among the ancient stones – the Whispering Knights, the King's Men and the King Stone – and soak in the mystique of this prehistoric site.
"Visit in the evening for incredible stargazing under the clear sky," suggested Tracey.
The village is also home to Hook Norton Brewery, which is a family business that offer visitors the chance to discover the art of traditional brewing through a tour.
Guest get to sample some of the award-winning ales at the brewery, which has been operating since 1849.
Alternatively, head to the Farmers Market, which takes place every Wednesday and third Saturday of the month.

For a cosy evening experience, head to the Living Room Cinema.
"Housed in a historic building, this independent cinema screens a mix of mainstream and indie films, providing a unique cinematic experience," concluded Tracey.
StayCotswold offers several properties in the Cotswolds including cottages, barns, shepherds' huts and houses full of history - both near and away from the former Top Gear presenter's farm.

Top UK theme park scraps much-loved free entry policy for new £25 tickets and visitors are furious
Plus, Head of Sun Travel gives her verdict on the price increase PAY UP Top UK theme park scraps much-loved free entry policy for new £25 tickets and visitors are furious BLACKPOOL Pleasure Beach has scrapped free-entry and has added a £25 fee for non-riders. The seaside theme park had been free to enter for years, so the addition of new ticket prices hasn't been well received by visitors. Advertisement 5 Blackpool Pleasure Beach had been free to enter for years Credit: Getty 5 But it has added a general admission fee - even for those not going on rides Credit: Alamy Blackpool Pleasure Beach had been known for its free entry, with people previously just having to pay for the rides they went on. Charges per ride would be between £2 and around £10 per ride. Now, Blackpool Pleasure Beach has updated its ticket prices and added a fee for general admission. An adult ticket on the day is now £50, or £30 online if paid in advance. Advertisement But it's the fixed fee for anyone not planning to go on rides that has received the most backlash. The new non-rider ticket of £25 has been designed to offer guests greater 'flexibility when planning their day out.' Included in the price is £5 worth of 'Pleasure Beach Pounds' to put towards food, discounted show tickets and attractions like the Chinese Puzzle Maze. But it still hasn't sat well with visitors, one wrote on Facebook: "Wow £25 to walk around only, I'll stick to the pier thanks." Advertisement Another added: "Overpriced, £10 per non rider would have got far more people through the gates." Some even went as far as to call it a "con" and called the whole thing "daylight robbery". Seaside theme park gets reimagined ride 5 Some visitors are unhappy with the added fees Credit: Getty This isn't the first time the seaside theme park has introduced non-rider fees. Advertisement In 2010, Blackpool Pleasure Beach introduced £5 and £10 non-rider passes, but these were axed in 2019, allowing guests to enter Blackpool Pleasure Beach for free again, until now. While regular theme park goers have been left unhappy by the fees, others have said the same. The likes of Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Drayton Manor and Flamingo Land all have general admission fees for all. These range from £27.50-£68 - all of which are more expensive than Blackpool Pleasure Beach's non-rider fee. Advertisement The only theme park in the UK that still has a different fee for non-riders is Paultons Park. The amusement park located in the New Forest National Park has a £45 fee for adults going on rides, but is free for children and non-riders. Our Expert Opinion On The Ticket Changes Head of Sun Travel Lisa Minot gives her verdict on the new Blackpool Pleasure Beach fees... Times have never been more challenging for our classic seaside resorts. The cost of living crisis continues to impact spending power and the lure of cheap trips abroad can turn the head of even the most ardent fan. So it's no surprise that Blackpool Pleasure Resort has had to introduce a new entrance fee. Just two months ago, the attraction announced pre-tax losses of more than £2.7million and announced the closure of some of its smaller rides as well as a small number of job losses. Like many businesses, it has been hit with a double whammy of national insurance and minimum wage increases following last year's Budget. If we want Blackpool Pleasure Resort - and the city in general - to survive and thrive, then measures like the new entry ticket are essential. The resort is investing in new thrill rides and this new fee will help bosses invest in more. It's also worth noting you get a fair amount of extras in your ticket - from £5 to spend on food to character meet-and-greets, discounted show tickets and access to all the non-ride attractions plus, across the summer, a free matinee performance of the Hot Ice Show. If theme park fans are happy to pay even greater sums to enter the likes of Alton Towers and Thorpe Park, surely the chance to enjoy all the fun of Blackpool Pleasure Resort is worth the money? 5 Blackpool Pleasure Beach has a total of 24 rides Credit: Getty Blackpool Pleasure Beach is home to 10 rollercoasters, five 'dark' (indoor) rides, five water rides and 12 Nickelodeon-themed rides. Advertisement The attraction also has a number of shows and events throughout the year, including late night riding and fireworks. It first opened in 1896, and is still popular today. It was recently named as the number one destination to take kids to during the summer holidays, based on its reviews. The seaside park is still being upgrade too and in 2025, introduced a new ride called the Launch Pad, which reaches speeds of 80mph and sends riders 210ft into the air on a towering steel structure. Advertisement One Sun Travel writer attended the literal 'launch' of the ride and gave us his verdict. And Blackpool is planning to revamp its major tourist attraction, Winter Gardens.

Popular splash park to have six-metre-tall ‘super splash' tipping bucket and interactive water play in £900k revamp
The family favourite splash park is getting an upgrade after 20 years SPLASH IN Popular splash park to have six-metre-tall 'super splash' tipping bucket and interactive water play in £900k revamp A POPULAR splash park is undergoing a £900k revamp that will be finished just in time for the summer holidays. A family favourite, Clifton Park's waterplay in Rotheram, is getting an upgrade after almost 20 years. 3 An artists impression of what the park will look like Credit: Twitter/@UST_waterplay 3 The water park is a popular spot for water-loving kids Credit: Alamy 3 The park is getting a £900k revamp Credit: Alamy Fresh details have now emerged about the exciting redevelopment with planning applications now submitted. The environmentally-friendly revamp will feature a wider range of interactive features while retaining much-loved elements like fountains and paddling pools. The new £900k facility will include exciting high-impact features such as a huge six-metre tall "Super Splash" tipping bucket alongside water jets and fountains. There will also be interactive water play elements designed to provide a more inclusive and exciting experience. And it should all be ready in time for the summer holidays. In addition to the impressive new features, surfacing will be made safer and a new foot-washing station will be installed. Changes will also be made to allow for smoother circulation and new planting to support biodiversity. The area will also include an upgraded system for more efficient water use and children will be encouraged to learn about water conservation and the environment. A new plant system and plant room will be put in place which filters and recycles the water. Toilets, changing rooms, and the adjacent kiosk will remain in place and the surrounding green area used for picnics and relaxation will be preserved. The upgrades are designed to enhance access, boost reliability and continue to serve as a family-friendly attraction in the local community. Clifton Park waterplay was created in 2008 as part of a Heritage Lottery Fund project with children and families flocking to the splash park for years. TUI resort next door to giant waterpark Owing to its popularity, wear and tear started to have an impact resulting in continuous breakdowns. The project has been shaped by community feedback with a public consultation launched last year that received 200 respondents. They called for retaining the open space and existing play elements while adding a mix of new features. Capacity will remain similar to before with room for up to 600 people including spectators. Five new water attractions opening in the UK Therme Manchester will have 25 swimming pools, 25 water slides and an indoor beach. Modern Surf Manchester will be a surfing lagoon offering lessons to both beginners and experts. Chessington World of Adventures Waterpark is set to have wave, infinity and spa pools as well as waterslides and cabanas. The Cove Resort, Southport is likely to have a water lagoon and a thermal spa with steam rooms and saunas. The Seahive, Deal plans to be the "surfing wellness resort" in the UK. Cllr Victoria Cusworth, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People at Rotherham Council, said: "Our aim is for every neighbourhood in Rotherham to be a thriving neighbourhood, and part of that commitment is to enhance our green spaces like Clifton Park. 'The redevelopment the park's waterplay is more than just a face lift - it's a commitment to enhancing community infrastructure, promoting health and well-being, and creating a safe and engaging space for children to play. "We know how much residents enjoy the current facility. However, much of the equipment is outdated, with some features no longer working. "That's why we're forging ahead with a scheme that will replace old infrastructure and equipment and make sure that children are able to easily access a high quality waterplay facility. "This particular investment will encourage physical activity, family engagement, and environmental awareness and put outdoor play at the heart of the community.' Once planning approval is confirmed, work is expected to get underway. The revamped splash park will provide a major boost to Clifton Park's popular line-up of attractions. Clifton Park was named the fourth best UK theme park for 2019 by TripAdvisor. In addition to the splash park, it features a number of family-friendly activities including rollercoasters, mini-golf and a fun park for kids.
