'Masterpiece' horror movie with 'best plot twist ever' is streaming on iPlayer
A chilling horror movie that's been dubbed a '10/10' must-watch by fans is now streaming at no charge. The film has garnered accolades for featuring the 'best plot twist ever' - and it's hitting BBC iPlayer for free this weekend.
Bodies, Bodies, Bodies boasts an impressive 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and has earned glowing reviews for being "impeccably cast and smartly written", as well as "an uncommonly well-done whodunit".
The plot centres around: "When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong."
With a young and talented cast, the film features stars like Amandla Stenberg from The Hate U Give, Rachel Sennott from Shiva Baby, and the comedian Pete Davidson.
Horror enthusiasts believe this film is grossly underrated, with many voices on Rotten Tomatoes comments section singing its praises, reports Surrey Live.
One fan remarked: "What initially seemed like a typical teen horror flick turns out to be a fun and surprisingly well-crafted film."
Another added their voice stating: "Bodies Bodies Bodies is a sharp, satirical take on Gen Z culture wrapped in a murder mystery.
"The dialogue is witty and self-aware, capturing the internet-fueled language of the TikTok generation. It's not your typical slasher flick; it's more of a psychological whodunit with a cheeky twist."
Several viewers found themselves entirely gripped by the "insane" twist of the tale, with one confessing: "Best plot twist ever. Be prepared to be amazed."
One viewer enthused: "A well done fun guilty pleasure murder mystery film with sure some cheesy lines but some good acting and scenes that hooks you in with twists and a wow of an ending."
Another fan raved: "Another A24 masterpiece, insane plot twist, hilarious, it just has it all."
However, some viewers were left unimpressed, with one dismissing it as "pure dribble" and another criticising: "Highly annoying, unlikeable characters. I regret watching this."
In contrast, professional critics were largely full of praise, with The Times' Edward Porter noting: "In general the film crackles with life. It has a caustic script, a stormy atmosphere and a talented cast."
The Independent's Clarisse Loughrey observed: "It's peak nihilistic entertainment, watching these souls try, in vain, to keep their fragile reputations intact while they're drenched head to toe in blood."
Empire Magazine's Ella Kemp concluded: "Tense when it needs to be and awfully good fun throughout. Stupidity reigns supreme for these rich kids, but the filmmakers are smart enough to make Bodies Bodies Bodies stick the landing."
The Financial Times' Danny Leigh also commented: "The title could hint at either sex or death, and both end up with roles to play in a movie carefully stuffed with rising stars du jour."
Bodies Bodies Bodies is streaming tonight at 11.30pm on BBC One and will be available on BBC iPlayer after broadcast.

Netflix fans have been left 'heartbroken' after watching the biopic about a famous wrestling family, starring Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White. Netflix has added a heartbreaking biopic about a famous wrestling family which has left viewers in floods of tears. The Iron Claw, which features a series of Hollywood stars including Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White, tells the devastating story of the Von Erich brothers as they made history in the highly competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. The 2023 film, which was released in UK cinemas in February 2024, has scored an impressive 89 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes and landed on Netflix over the weekend. Zac Efron takes on a leading role as Kevin Von Erich, one of the siblings who achieved fame as a professional wrestler whilst Harris Dickinson plays David, Jeremy Allen White plays Kerry and Stanley Simons plays Mike. A synopsis for the sports drama reads: "The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s." Despite their wrestling success, the Von Erichs faced endless amounts of tragedy outside of the ring. The family was struck by a series of tragic deaths, which are depicted throughout the film, with their misfortune becoming known as the 'Von Erich Curse'. The film was already so sad that the director was forced to make the tough decision to leave one major detail out of the film in case it was too upsetting for viewers. Despite this, Netflix fans have been left highly impressed by the biopic, although they have warned it is a difficult watch. One IMDb reviewer wrote: "The Iron Claw is incredible yet devastating. It's an emotionally haunting film that is going to stick with me for a while." Meanwhile another fan on Reddit wrote: 'This movie completely broke me and I don't say that often but damn. 'I knew very little about the family going into it but had heard it was based on a true story and depressing. But this movie was more depressing than I had imagined lol especially the last 15 minutes absolutely brutal.' A third added: "Watching the final scene of The Iron Claw and I think someone must have been cutting onions next to me. Seen it like 5 times and it always hits like a punch to the gut." Referencing the missing detail of the film, another reviewer on Letterboxd wrote: 'Crazy they actually made the story less sad in order to make it more believable.' Throughout the course of the film, tragedy strikes the family multiple times and Kevin is the only brother who lives through it all. The first is when the Von Erich's older brother, Jack, died at the age of six. How he passed away was one of the many tragic details left out to make the film watchable as Jack was electrocuted by an exposed wire and drowned in a puddle. The next of his brothers to die was David Von Erich, who passed away at 25 on a trip to Japan after health complications caused his sudden death. Later in the film, Mike and Kerry Von Erich both take their own lives. Mike sadly becomes disabled to due to an in-ring accident and Kerry loses his leg the night he won the family's first World Championship. All of this happened in real life except one major detail was missed out - there was another brother who also died of suicide. When speaking about the decision to leave out Chris, director Sean Durkin said: 'There was a repetition to it, and it was one more tragedy that the film couldn't really withstand.' He confessed that Chris had been in the script for five years and taking him out was an 'impossible choice.' Durkin stated that Kevin, who is the only son of Fritz Von Erich to live past their 20s or 30s, said he 'understood' when he told him of his decision.

The supernatural mystery drama premiered on August 6 with the first four episodes – the rest of the series will be available to stream on September 3. Jenna Ortega reprised her role as the titular character, returning to Nevermore Academy for another year and 'fresh foes and woes' alongside fellow students Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) and Bianca Barclay (Joy Sunday). 'Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem,' the official synopsis reads. 'Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.' EastEnders' George faces 'worst nightmare' as Kojo arrested following shock drug twist
Spoilers for next week's EastEnders reveal trouble for Kojo as his brother George finds him in a bad state after taking drugs - only for him to later be arrested by Jack Branning Spoilers reveal a terrifying week in EastEnders for Kojo next week, as his birthday goes terribly wrong after his day out with his brother George is ruined. As George gets side-tracked by new love interest Nicola, Kojo heads home where he finds Okie and his acquaintances have taken over his place. Recently, viewers have seen Ravi and Okie telling Harry they need to use Kojo's flat for their drug dealings, which Harry was firmly set against. However, it seems Okie and his acquaintances have managed to gain their way into the flat. As a panicked Kojo finds them, Okie gives him a pill to calm him down, and George is left terrified when he finds his brother in a terrible state after taking drugs. Speaking on the terrifying moment, Colin Salmon, who plays George, said: "He goes into an absolute panic. It's George's worst nightmare and he immediately assumes that Harry is to blame for this. "He knows that Kojo wouldn't take drugs and so he assumes that he's been spiked or been tricked into it. Kojo hates drugs and George knows that, so he immediately points the finger at Harry." A panicked George later takes Kojo to Phil's place, but things go from bad to worse when DI Jack Branning arrives, and discovers Kojo took drugs. George is later left shaken when Jack reveals he needs to arrest Kojo. George is left raging, and blames Harry for the ordeal. It later leads to a confrontation which involves his new partner Nicola, and his daughter Gina who we recently saw go on a date with Harry. On why George assumes it's Harry's fault, actor Colin said: "George has met a lot of lads like Harry during the years he's run bars, and he can see that he could be involved in drugs. It doesn't mean George is judgemental of Harry because Gina has had addiction problems, but he can see Harry isn't being truthful. "George knows when someone is lying to him. What's really sad is that he doesn't realise that Harry is trying to protect Kojo." The storyline comes after Elaine was violently knocked to the ground in tonight's episode, as a group of threatening lads took over the Arches. In the Vic, George expressed his concern for Kojo after he revealed his "new friend" Okie had bought him a watch. Not wanting to interfere, Elaine said she would go and check out the situation for George, however, she was left pushed to the ground. How far will the storyline go and will Kojo end up in even more trouble? EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
