Veteran WRs Skyy Moore, Justyn Ross among attendees at Patrick Mahomes' throwing session
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been hard at work with his teammates after the Kansas City Chiefs' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Not one to dwell on the past, Mahomes recently hosted an offseason throwing session in Texas that may help the Chiefs' offense get back on track.
Among the pass-catchers in attendance were veteran wide receivers Skyy Moore, Justyn Ross, and Nikko Remigio, who have been mainstays on Kansas City's roster in recent seasons.
Running backs Isiah Pacheco and Elijah Mitchell were also seen working out with Mahomes in these pictures, which were posted to Twitter by Arrowhead Pride contributor Mark Gunnels:
With the 2025 NFL draft less than a week away, Mahomes and his teammates may soon have a few fresh faces in their offseason workout crew.
Stay tuned to see if Chiefs general manager Brett Veach will look to target a wide receiver and running back to add to the fray with Mahomes and company in Texas.

Eagles star A.J. Brown offers an open invitation to QBs in Philadelphia and New Jersey
Eagles star A.J. Brown offers an open invitation to QBs in Philadelphia and New Jersey Eagles All-Pro quarterback took to social media to offer an open invitation to local quarterbacks from Jersey and Philly for throwing sessions Call this premature. Call it a theory expressed in error, but don't be surprised if others agree. A.J. Brown is already a Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Famer, but his next few seasons in the City of Brotherly Love could determine whether or not we're discussing more. Canton isn't out of the question. He may not be a shoo-in yet, but we might be when his playing days are over. His resume already consisted of his addition to the Pro Football Writers Association's All-Rookie Team in 2019. He landed on a Pro Bowl roster with the Tennessee Titans in 2020, but once he arrived in Philly, things reached supernova. Brown has gone from being seen as a very good player to being one of the best in the game at his position. He and DeVonta Smith make up the game's best one-two punch at wide receiver, and yes, the guys in Cincinnati and Miami were considered when making that declaration. Since his trade to Philadelphia in 2022, Brown has landed on two more Pro Bowl rosters (2022, 2023). He was snubbed last season, but that's okay. He can bask in the glow of a Second-Team All-Pro nod, his third. He's won that honor during each of the past three seasons. Brown is a Super Bowl champion, and when his time is up, who knows what he may have accomplished? The best part is that he has never lost his humility. That was most recently evidenced by a recent invitation he offered on social media. A.J. Brown is looking for a quarterback in the Philly and New Jersey area to work out with him this summer. Don't restart your cellular devices or your tablets. There's no need to check the resolution or the speed of your laptop. Your internet isn't lagging. This isn't a drill. A.J. Brown is looking for a quarterback from Philadelphia or New Jersey to work out with him during the summer. He offered an open invitation through his Instagram account. Fingers are crossed that the local news outlets and radio stations don't twist this and try to present it as some issue he has with his teammates. Let's hope the more appropriate angle is focused on instead. This is a recent Super Bowl winner who has already expressed that his desire to compete outweighs his achievements. That's why this city and fan base love A.J. and why it may not be inappropriate to believe that his bust may be carved one day and placed in the hallowed ground better known as the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio.

Cooper DeJean spent time focusing on the nuances of CB positions with Patrick Surtain
Cooper DeJean spent time focusing on the nuances of CB positions with Patrick Surtain Eagles' dynamic defensive back Cooper DeJean has been focusing on the nuances of the cornerback position with NFL Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain this offseason. The Eagles drafted Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean in the first two rounds of last April's NFL draft, and the results were championship worthy. Philadelphia was 2-2 entering the Week 5 bye, but lost one regular-season game after DeJean was inserted into the lineup in place of Avonte Maddox. The Eagles defeated the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, and finished the year with both Mitchell and DeJean being finalists for the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award. With James Bradberry and Darius Slay departing, DeJean will have an even more critical role in Vic Fangio's defense this season, and he's already returned to training. DeJean has spent the off-season working out with NFL Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain. Recently, Lucas Evans of the Denver Post wrote a long-form article on Surtain and his dominance at the position. One of the tidbits featured Surtain coaching DeJean on one of the nuances of cornerback positions and the importance of hand placement. Surtain was named the 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and became the first cornerback to win the award since Stephon Gilmore in 2019, while the former was just the second Bronco all-time to win the prize after linebacker Randy Gradishar did so in 1978. Surtain appeared in 16 regular-season games in 2024, recording 45 total tackles (34 solo) and 11 passes defended, including four interceptions, one of which he returned for a 100-yard pick-six in Week 5 versus the Raiders. The cornerback also added a forced fumble and a recovery during the season. DeJean logged 51 tackles (38 solo) as a rookie, including 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries across 16 regular-season games in 2024. DeJean's biggest and best moment came in Super Bowl LIX against the Chiefs, when he picked off Patrick Mahomes for a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown on his birthday.

Patrick Mahomes Reveals Wife Brittany Helped Transform Key Part of His Game
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes isn't even 30 yet, and he already has an NFL resume most QBs would die for. The Texas Tech alum has three Super Bowl championships and Super Bowl MVPs, two NFL MVPs, an Offensive Player of the Year award, two first-team All-Pro and one second-team All-Pro selections, and six Pro Bowls to his name. Some believe Mahomes is on the fast track to a Hall of Fame career, and while many believe he's one of the top three QBs in the NFL right now, he would presumably say he always has room to improve. In fact, during a recent exclusive interview with Mahomes admitted that his wife, Brittany Mahomes, has had a profound impact on one of the most important parts of his game: his confidence. "I admire my wife Brittany's confidence," Mahomes said. "Whether it's in business, or supporting our family, she always leads with strength and purpose. That kind of confidence is powerful; it pushes me to be better every day." Brittany, who's also 29 and was Mahomes' high school sweetheart back at Whitehouse High School in Texas, has worked side-by-side with Mahomes and helped shape his personal fitness journey for years. The couple are also founding co-owners of the National Women's Soccer League's Kansas City Current, so Mahomes has had a front-row seat to watching his wife's ambition and confidence play out. That kind of supportive environment, Mahomes says, is what pushes him to be the best version of himself, which as the rest of the AFC West will confirm, is pretty dangerous. "Off the field, I'm probably most confident when I'm with my family and close friends," Mahomes added. "Being around the people who've supported me from the beginning and know me so well—that's when I'm at my best." "Sometimes in those workouts, when you might be a little tired, you have that extra motivation to finish even stronger." Patrick Mahomes spoke about how the loss in Super Bowl LIX has impacted the Chiefs' motivation for 2025. — Matt McMullen (@KCChiefs_Matt) May 30, 2025 Heading into 2025, Mahomes has quite a chip on his shoulder. He's coming off arguably the worst season of his eight-year career. His 3,928 yards passing, 26 touchdowns, and 6.8 yards per pass attempt were his lowest totals since he became a starter in 2018, and his 36 sacks taken were a career-high. Mahomes also had one of the worst playoff performances on his career in Kansas City's 40-22 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. Though he threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns, he also had two interceptions and threw for just 24 yards in the first half with a pick-6.
