Escambia County woman seriously injured in crash
According to the , officers were called to a crash on Blue Angel Parkway and Longleaf Creek around 4 p.m. on May 30.

When officers arrived, they found that the driver of a Nissan Altima had hit the rear left side of a motorcycle, which then caused the motorcycle to hit the right rear corner of a Nissan Rogue, according to an FHP crash report.
The driver of the Altima then allegedly continued south, causing a second collision where it hit the rear left corner of the Rogue.
FHP officials said the driver of the Altima then fled from the scene, eventually abandoning the car at a Circle K gas station on Mobile Highway.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the crash.

FedEx driver charged with stealing, cashing SC lottery tickets
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged Marvin Naquan Mann, Jr., 33, with intent to defraud and counterfeit game tickets, following an investigation requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery. Mann was charged after allegedly passing stolen South Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off tickets on June 27. ALSO READ: Harris Teeter employee accused of stealing over $11,000 from store According to the warrant, Mann, who was employed as a delivery driver for FedEx, admitted to unlawfully obtaining the lottery tickets while transporting them to a retailer. He then attempted to have the tickets scanned at the Circle K Store on Carowinds Boulevard. Surveillance footage reportedly confirmed Mann's actions at the store. Mann was booked into the York County Detention Center following the charges. The case will be prosecuted by the 16th Circuit Court Solicitor's Office. Woman, 79, critically hurt after being hit by car in Ingleside, Illinois, sheriffs say
A 79-year-old woman was critically hurt after being hit by a car on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office. The office said just before 2 p.m., deputies responded to Big Hollow Road near Leonard Avenue, where they found the woman seriously hurt. Initial reports indicated that a Nissan Altima, driven by a 41-year-old Wood Dale woman, was traveling eastbound on Big Hollow Road when she hit the victim, who had been walking in the roadway. Evidence from the scene indicated that the driver attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid hitting her. The woman was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The driver and a small child in the back seat were not hurt. Police said the woman may have memory issues and left her home without her caretaker's knowledge. The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff's Office Technical Crash Investigations Team.
