Hajjah commemorates Imam Hussein's martyrdom with cultural evenings
Cultural evenings were held on Friday in several districts across Hajjah governorate, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
Speeches delivered in various locations, including Kuhlan Afar, al-Miftah, Khairan al-Muharraq, Aflah Al-Yaman, Mabyan, Qara, and Najrah, underscored the significance of Karbala tragedy.
Speakers highlighted Imam Hussein's sacrifice for God's religion and truth, urging attendees to follow his path in confronting arrogance and criminality.
The speakers emphasized that the Islamic nation's deviation from true religion stems from its distancing from the Prophet's Household and reviewed attempts by enemies to undermine Islamic symbols.
Attendees reaffirmed the Yemeni people's unified support for the revolutionary leadership in aiding Gaza, the Palestinian people, and the Palestinian resistance.
They stressed the importance of continuous training and readiness for the "promised conquest and holy jihad" until victory. The events saw participation from local, mobilization, social, and educational figures.

Hamas: We delivered positive response to mediators on ceasefire proposal
Doha – SABA: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced on Friday that it has delivered a positive response to mediators regarding the latest proposal for a ceasefire to end the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. In a brief statement received by SABA News Agency, Hamas said: 'The movement has completed its internal consultations and discussions with Palestinian factions and forces regarding the latest proposal by the mediators to stop the aggression against our people in Gaza.' It added: 'The movement has delivered its response to the mediators, which was characterized by positivity, and it is fully ready to immediately engage in negotiations on the mechanism for implementing the proposed framework.' Since October 7, 2023, and with American and European support, the Israeli army has been carrying out genocidal crimes in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 57,268 Palestinian civilians, the majority of them women and children, and the injury of 135,625 others, according to the latest figures.
