Kashmera Shah, who has known Shefali for many years and worked with her on Bigg Boss 13 has been unable to come to terms with Shefali's death. During an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Kashmera expressed shock and disbelief.
While talking to Times of India TV, Kashmera said, "Yes I know. We couldn't sleep. We knew her. She was with me in BB13. It's so tragic. She was way too young to go away like this. This should never happen to anyone."
Shefali and Kashmera stayed inside the Bigg Boss 13 house during the family week. Shefali was one of the close friends of Kashmera's sister-in-law and actress
. She even attended Arti's wedding in Mumbai. Even after the show Shefali and Arti stayed connected and often met each other during special celebrations.
Shefali, who passed away last night was first taken to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital, where doctors are said to have declared her dead.
Later, her body was allegedly sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem.
Family friends, relatives and Shefali's colleagues have started visiting Cooper hospital and her residence to be with the Jariwala family in this tough time. A few hours ago. Shefali's husband Parag Tyagi was spotted outside their house with their pet dog, Simba. He looked heartbroken and devastated. This was Shefali's second marriage. She was earlier married to Harmeet Singh of Meet Bros.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 28 (ANI): Actress-model Shefali Jariwala, best known for her iconic role in the hit music video 'Kaanta Laga,' has passed away at the age of 42. The news of her sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, friends and colleagues are expressing their disbelief and sorrow. Jariwala's death was confirmed by Mumbai Police, who shared that the actress was found dead at her residence in the Andheri area of Mumbai in the early hours of Saturday. 'Shefali Jariwala died at the age of 42. She lived in Andheri area of Mumbai. Members of her family had reached the hospital with her late last night, and she was declared brought dead by doctors,' a police spokesperson said. Authorities received the information around 1 am and later sent the body to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem. While some reports suggest cardiac arrest as a possible cause, the exact cause of death remains under investigation.
