'I'm not body shaming' — Summer Walker sheds light on her reaction to Wandi Ndlovu's cosmetic surgery

American singer Summer Walker has shed light on her reaction to reality TV star Wandi Ndlovu's surgical procedures.
Wandi, who shot to fame after her stint on Showmax's This Body Works For Me as an OnlyFans content creator, debuted her new sculpted BBL body on social media earlier this year after having another cosmetic alteration.
Summer recently took to her Instagram stories to share a Photoshopped image of Wandi while she was in Dubai. The image showed Wandi's thighs turned into chicken drum sticks and her face altered.
After receiving backlash, the singer, who has also had cosmetic surgery, clarified she was not body shaming Wandi.
'I understand that ya'll don't get my personality or my dark humour. I meant to post that on my spam page because the girls over there, they get it. I post so much stupid a** sh*t. I'm not body shaming. This generation is sensitive as f*ck. I love her. I don't even know this girl, she's bad ass, f*ck she looks good. It was funny because it was ridiculous. It has nothing to do with the girl.'
Wandi, whose real name is Wandile, said Summer also sent her a direct message apologising to her for the post.

Gigaba interdicts ex-wife Noma to not talk about failed marriage on TV show

Former finance minister Malusi Gigaba has applied to interdict his ex-wife Nomachule Mngoma from going on TV to be interviewed about their failed marriage and allegations of infidelity and pornography. In court papers filed in the Johannesburg high court last week, Gigaba said his ex-wife's interview on Showmax's new show Untied will 'taint my good name and dignity that I have been rebuilding from the past years after [divorce]'. The eight-part talk show, which is hosted by broadcaster Relebogile Mabotja, was supposed to premiere on Tuesday, but according to News24, Gigaba managed to halt the airing of the episode — for now. The urgent application and the episode had been postponed until July 7. The eight women Mabotja will sit down with include Mngoma, Nonku Williams, Palesa Madisakwane, Sonia Booth, Dawn Thandeka King, Zandi Nhlapo, Mona Monyane and Beverley Steyn. Gigaba said since 2018, he had decided to remove himself from the spotlight and rebuild his name. 'In short, the third respondent [Mngoma] has recorded a podcast with the first [MultiChoice] and second [Goat Originals] about my private life, years after we formally separated and ultimately divorced. 'It is important to state that I made a conscious decision to not publicly talk about the third respondent's life after our divorce, for her own integrity and for the integrity of our minor children.'

Gripping true-crime series explores the legacy of notorious serial killer Moses Sithole

'The ABC Killer' is a twisty true-crime documentary series about serial killer Moses Sithole. Image: Supplied. The gripping trailer has been released for the upcoming true-crime documentary series, "The ABC Killer", which takes an unsettling look into the life of notorious serial killer Moses Sithole. The Showmax series revisits a dark chapter in South Africa's history, offering both a haunting narrative and a fresh perspective on a case that still sends shivers down the spine. Three decades ago, Tamsen de Beer, a rookie journalist at "The Star" newspaper, received an unprecedented call that would forever alter her life and career. The voice on the other end of the line claimed to be South Africa's most prolific serial killer, calling himself "The ABC Killer" – a name derived from his modus operandi of targeting young, black women across vulnerable areas like Atteridgeville, Boksburg and Cleveland in Gauteng. I was hoping he was okay all the time, which is absolutely crazy." Her disturbing connection with Sithole came during the same year that the late Nelson Mandela became South Africa's first democratically elected president. Sithole was ultimately convicted of 38 murders, 40 rapes and six robberies, all committed in broad daylight over just a year and while sober. "This was the biggest case of our history at the time," reflects former detective Derrick Nosworthy in the trailer. "I don't think we had ever had a case where there were so many people murdered by potentially one offender," he continues. Former detective Derrick Nosworthy in "The ABC Killer". Image: Supplied. Director Jasyn Howes, who was a young boy in Johannesburg during the height of Sithole's killing spree, draws parallels with infamous American serial killer Ted Bundy, noting, 'He was our Ted Bundy.' The three-part series follows Howes's critically acclaimed first documentary, "Boetie Boer", about another infamous 90s serial killer, Stewart Wilken, which was nominated for various Saftas last year. In "The ABC Killer", Howes engages some of the key figures from the harrowing saga. Interviewees include de Beer alongside her night editor, Alameen Brendan Templeton, who expresses concerns for her safety. South Africa's first profiler, Micki Pistorius, and several former detectives also contribute their insights regarding one of the most chilling cases of their careers. The series brings audiences closer to the voices of resilience through firsthand accounts, such as that of survivor Buyiswa Swakhamisu, who relives her traumatic experience with Sithole. 'He used the promise of work to convince her to follow him,' it was revealed. Survivor Buyiswa Swakhamisu in "The ABC Killer". Image: Supplied. The documentary promises exclusivity with unique content, including an anonymous inmate's video interview with Sithole, as well as official archival footage of his 1995 police questioning. Howes, in a similar fashion to "Boetie Boer", employs extensive re-enactments filmed at real-world locations integral to Sithole's story, including "The Star" newspaper headquarters and the Pretoria High Court. Gifter Ngobenisen portrays Sithole, while Louise van der Merwe steps into the role of De Beer. Rounding out the cast is Graham Hopkins as Judge George Curlewis. With meticulous research involving diary entries from de Beer, transcripts of her phone conversations with Sithole, and intimate letters to clinical psychologist Dr Giada Del Fabbro, the series promises a thorough examination of a case rife with implications about society, crime and empathy. Even while serving an astonishing 2 410 years in prison, Sithole remains a chilling figure, reportedly studying law after completing a degree in theology. "The ABC Killer" is set to premiere on Showmax on Tuesday, July 22.

Gigaba stops ex-wife Noma and Showmax from airing sordid details of their marriage on Untied episode

Malusi Gigaba and his ex-wife Noma Mngoma in happier times. File picture: Dumisani Sibeko Image: File /Dumisani Sibeko Former Minister Malusi Gigaba has successfully obtained a temporary court order to stop the airing of an interview featuring his ex-wife, Noma Mngoma, on the Showmax series "Untied." The interview, which delves into the turbulent aspects of their marriage, including allegations of infidelity, pornography addiction, and misuse of public funds, has raised significant public interest and concern. In the application, MultiChoice is cited as the first respondent, while Goat Originals, which produced the show, is the second respondent, and Mngoma is the third. Gigaba's legal action comes after he received a WhatsApp communication from Vanessa Tloubatla, the executive producer of the show, who wanted to give a right to reply to allegations that were made against him. "Vanessa indicated that the third respondent (Mngoma) shared her experience of our former marriage particularly; her own perspective about our marriage; allegations of infidelity, pornography, the incident involving the hawks and further allegations about the use of taxpayer's money for personal trips," read the court documents. Gigaba said upon receiving the email, he sought legal advice to evaluate the potential impact of these allegations on his public standing as he was in the process of rebuilding his name which was already tainted by past allegations. Gigaba said that through his attorneys, he requested a copy of the podcast, and he was provided with a summarised version of the interview. He said the interview contained allegations of personal nature with respect to his private life and there were further allegations regarding his professional life as a former minister. 'In light of the aforesaid, the second respondent (Goat Originals) makes the following unfounded allegations with respect to my private life: That I was engaged in multiple extramarital affairs during the subsistence of our marriage; I was addicted to pornography; and further that I was involved in her arrest,' he said. Gigaba said after his attorneys exchanged emails with the production company, he was subsequently provided snippets of the interview for the purpose of watching. Gigaba said that after watching the snippets, he advised his legal team of his desire to interdict the broadcasting of the interview on the basis that its sole import and effect was to taint his good name, and it was not in the public interest. The Host: Did any of the girls bring photographs to show that he cheated? Mngoma: None of them brought photos, in a form of an image, but they screenshot messages and send them to me. The Host: If you go to counselling, he will say I have got a problem, what was he saying his problem is? Mngoma: He would blame his father, because his father was a priest, he grew up looking up to his father and his father cheated on his mother. The Host: So, he inherited this from his father? Mngoma: He would say I am going to deal with it and doesn't know why he's doing it. Gigaba said there was no evidence of any extravagant lifestyle, he lived according to his position as a Minister. "At the Zondo Commission, she made a sworn claim that I was broke and she was the one responsible for purchasing all our household assets, as a result she claimed all of them as part of the divorce settlement." The statements infringe his dignity and good name. "The third respondent made statements that infringe my dignity and a good name." As Gigaba navigates these accusations, he insists that since he resigned as minister, he has lived a private life and is in the process of rebuilding his name. Furthermore, he condemned Mngoma's public disclosures about their family life and professional life, claiming it infringes upon his dignity and reputation. "I have never gone around in public platforms, on social media or electronic printing seeking attention to talk about the third respondent (Mngoma) or diminish her good name. Instead, she is the one dragging my name unprovoked." The airing of the controversial episode has been temporarily blocked, with the case set to return to court on 7 July for further consideration as more documents are to be submitted. Gigaba served in government in 2010 and 2018, with stints as Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Public Enterprises, and Minister of Finance.
