Tarek El Moussa is no longer in legal jeopardy after he was charged with misdemeanor battery following a Las Vegas scuffle - his case has now been dismissed. According to court records obtained by the Daily Mail, El Moussa, 43, was facing a misdemeanor battery charge over the incident, but he was able to participate in the court's Pre-Prosecution Diversion Program where he was ordered to complete 'impulse control counseling' and to 'stay out of trouble.' El Moussa was able to show proof that he completed the diversion program requirements, and a judge dismissed his case on Aug. 5. has reached out to a representative for El Moussa for comment but did not immediately hear back. The altercation occurred in June at The Palazzo at the Venetian hotel between Tarek and another male, whose identity has yet to be revealed, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Witnesses claimed that Tarek drove his knee into the man's head, knocking him out. TMZ obtained a Las Vegas Metropolitan PD report that alleged the violent bust-up was captured on casino surveillance video. According to the report, the fight kicked off after Tarek's alleged victim allegedly bumped into the HGTV star's father's chair at a roulette table inside The Palazzo. The bump-in reportedly upset Tarek's father, who allegedly turned around in his seat to face the man. After Tarek's father turned his back, the man allegedly tapped him on the right shoulder and said something to him that reportedly caused Tarek, who was seated near his father, to get involved. Tarek allegedly got up from his seat and 'charged at the man, pushing him back before the two got into a 'fighting stance.'' As per the police report, Tarek's adversary allegedly went for the star's legs in an attempt to take him down. But Tarek allegedly proceeded to knee the man to the floor. The police then claimed that Tarek 'mounted the man's back and pummeled him with three blows to the head.' The incident was called in as an 'assault/battery' and the alleged victim told police that he wanted to press charges. The report claimed that the man suffered several injuries as a result of the casino altercation, including 'purple and red bruises under the right eye and a cut on the bridge of his nose.' The police said that the alleged victim's account of the fight with Tarek differed slightly from what they had viewed on the hotel's surveillance footage. According to cops, the man claimed he was 'aggressively approached' by Tarek at the roulette table before allegedly being 'assaulted' by him. The man insisted he was trying to defend himself. Tarek was also interviewed by police. He insisted that he only confronted the man to 'protect his Dad due to him having back problem.' However, Tarek stopped speaking with cops after his Miranda rights were read, according to TMZ. In a statement to the outlet at the time, Tarek's attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld said: 'Tarek intends to contest these allegations in a court of law where he will assert his right to self-defense and the defense of his elderly and infirmed father.'

Here is everything you need to know. 4 4 Where is the The July London Victoria? Just steps from London Victoria station, you are right in the middle of it all. The July London Victoria is a mastery in transporting you back in time without feeling dated, with laidback funk and jazz playing while checking into the mid century hotel. I was obsessed with the interiors as soon as I stepped in - rich mid century wood, painted ceilings and plush red chairs, all while funk and jazz played overhead. What are the rooms like? Despite calling themselves aparthotel, it felt more likely being in a trendy A listers flat. Each room comes with their own kitchenette, complete with Nespresso machines, tea making and all the glassware above the cooker. Decorated in baby pinks and rich green, I had great fun calling reception on the retro yellow dialling phone. Along with my very plush double bed, the pink tiled bathroom comes with a walk in shower and Marie-Stella-Maris toiletries, a Dutch brand the hotel has teamed up with. Despite being by a busy train station, my room was gloriously quiet thanks to overlooking a quiet street behind - meaning a fantastic nights sleep. What can you eat and drink there? The hotels The Idler is where you can dine all day. Lined with rich red leather seats, green ceiling ans pink trikes bar, I felt like I'd gone back to the80s (in a modern way) thanks to the abstract painted ceiling and mix of artwork on the walls Dinner is a small choice but good size portions affair; My Coppa cured meat and pickles starter was just as good as the whipped butter and sourdough. As tempted as I was by the steak and fish, the fresh tomato linguine with sides of seaweed salty Cavelero Nero and broccoli were a divine choice, as well as offering extremely large portion sizes. And I could hardly resist the chocolate mousse… Breakfast is a choice of continental or hot options such as potato hash and poached eggs. Take the kids too as they dine for free with an adult. Need a late night snack? There is even an on-site deli serving drinks and food to take back to your room. What else is there to do at the hotel? The hotel has an onsite 24hr gym - stylishly decorated in red patterns, albeit slightly sparse on the machines - as well as a cold plunge and sauna. The 24 hour reception is on hand for any questions or help - they happily were on hand when I forgot my phone charger by accident. Otherwise if you want to explore, catch a show at The West End, or hop on a train to explore the rest of the city. Is The July London Victoria family friendly? Nanny who had 'biohazard diarrhea' that canceled United flight reveals why she's HAPPY it happened
A nanny whose 'biohazard diarrhea' on board a United Airlines plane triggered flight cancelations has revealed why she is happy she went through the painful ordeal. Meghan Reinertsen, a 29-year-old actor from Atlanta, Georgia, spent 90 minutes locked inside the lavatory during a July 2024 flight from Newark to Indianapolis. Following her unfortunate ordeal, where 'more diarrhea than any human should ever have' came out of her, she took to TikTok to tell her then-53 followers all about it. Now, she has told the Daily Mail she is glad the incident happened because her experience has helped others deal with their own embarrassing, mid-air health matters. 'I'm happy that I have been able to make people feel better about their own situations,' she said in an exclusive interview. 'That's all I have ever wanted to do with my writing and entertainment. It's been really uplifting and encouraging for me. 'I have had an egregious amount of people reach out to me with their own plane horror stories, which I love to hear,' Reinertsen said. As well as prompting others to open up about their own embarrassing stories inside cramped airplane bathrooms, her story boosted her TikTok audience to a staggering 93,000 followers. Reinertsen revealed that the horrifying explosion was triggered by a few bites of a bloody hamburger patty, which gave her violent food poisoning. 'I had eaten part of an undercooked burger hours before I left to get back to Indiana,' she said. 'I only took a couple of bites because I was like: "Oof, that's really undercooked."' Reinertsen said she bought the burger at the resort where she had been staying as a nanny for a family who were on vacation at the time. 'I don't want to out the resort,' she said. 'It was a really nice hotel.' Reinertsen said the first signs something wasn't right came while she was strolling through the airport before her final connection, a two-hour flight. 'My stomach was rumbling,' she told the Daily Mail. 'I was like: "This is... different." 'But it really wasn't until I got on the second flight that the pain kicked in. I was like: "This is not good."' In her TikTok video about the nightmare experience, she detailed how within 30 minutes into her flight, she was drenched in sweat, crying and doubled over in pain. Fearing she'd end up like the infamous Delta passenger who soiled herself mid-flight, Reinertsen made it to the bathroom just in time. 'For the next 20 minutes I had more diarrhea than any human should ever have in their life,' she said, adding that she soon started vomiting as well. Reinertsen recalled panicking in the tiny, claustrophobic area before she had the presence of mind to scream for help from the flight attendants, who gave her bags. The flight crew allowed her to stay in the bathroom for the entire flight. They even got special clearance from the pilot to allow her to remain where she was for landing. Reinertsen said she couldn't make it back to her seat in her condition, which prompted the flight attendant to tell her through the door to 'brace for impact'. Once they were on the ground, she was told that the next flight with that plane had been canceled. 'A flight attendant comes over and says: "Everybody's off the plane now, go ahead and take your time and come out when you can, the next flight has been cancelled,"' Reinertsen said. 'In the moment, I'm not thinking it is because of me.' The flight attendant then told her that a hazmat team would be coming to clean up her mess. 'Got it, so you canceled that flight because of you don't know if I brought something back from Portugal. And I am a biohazard. I am patient zero,' she said. She even had to be put in a wheelchair when she was ready to disembark because she couldn't walk. Reflecting on the ordeal one year later, she told the Daily Mail she can 'absolutely' see the humorous side. 'Is this a funny story in hindsight? One hundred percent. This is so something that would happen to me,' Reinertsen said. 'Even in the midst of the pain, I was like: "Of course this would happen to me." I didn't really have time to be embarrassed. I was just like: "Oh this sucks." 'People [on the plane] aren't monsters and they knew what was going on.' 'We choose what we decide to be embarrassed by and this simply wasn't something I was embarrassed about,' she added. Despite the 'overwhelmingly positive response' to her story, Reinertsen said she was also heavily criticized by trolls. 'There are obviously people who are nitpicking my every move and decision,' she said. 'I only had two hours to get to my flight, I didn't have time to really think about it. 'I didn't have a moment to stop and make a decision about it because I was just trying to make my flight.' Reinertsen also dispelled rumors that she 'destroyed' the plane bathroom.
