Why Rabiot could return to Juventus, Inter or Roma, but not Milan

Yahoo7 hours ago
With Olympique Marseille officially announcing Adrien Rabiot is for sale, it's reported he was offered to Inter, Roma and even Juventus, but Milan have no room for the midfielder.
The France international has a long history of drama in his career and this is just the latest, because he has been excluded from the Marseille squad by the club and coach Roberto De Zerbi.
The decision was made following a locker room altercation with teammate Jonathan Rowe, who has also been put on the transfer market.
Now a return to Serie A is entirely possible for Rabiot, who after all spent five years at Juventus until letting his contract run down in July 2024.

Milan would've been the obvious choice for the presence of his old coach Max Allegri, but with Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari and Samuele Ricci all signed this summer, there simply isn't room in a team that is out of European football.
FCInterNews suggest that Inter were offered the opportunity to sign the 30-year-old, and are giving it some thought, as their midfield is in flux.
Roma are another alternative, although they seem to be trying to lower the average age of the squad.

The most intriguing report from Calciomercato.com and RMC Sport is that Rabiot could even return to Juventus.
It is worth noting that the reasons he left have been lifted, namely director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli, and his salary worth €7.5m per season.
Damien Comolli is now in charge of the Bianconeri's transfer strategy, and the player's wages at Marseille are said to be worth €3.5m per season plus €2m in performance-related bonuses.

Roma continue talks for Bailey, Echeverri and Fabio Silva

Roma remain very active on the market. Giallorossi sporting director Frederic Massara must seek to strengthen the attack as quickly as possible for an increasingly impatient Gasperini. The new name is that of Leon Bailey, who played a key role in Roma's defeat to Aston Villa in the recent friendly. The Jamaican winger is valued at around €30 million and can be adapted to the left. At the same time, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Massara has resumed contact with City for Echeverri. The Giallorossi are considering the possibility of bringing him on a dry loan. Finally, there's the possibility of Fabio Silva, who already has an agreement with Roma. The agreement between the Giallorossi and Wolves is still pending.

PSG, Tottenham Receive Good News on Everton Target as Atletico Madrid Offer Rejected

With just days remaining in the summer transfer window, PSG face questions about whether they will make one or two moves before it closes. One area the Parisians could strengthen is the depth of their attack. Fichajes recently reported that Takefusa Kubo is on PSG's radar, though any deal would likely hinge on Kang-in Lee's potential departure amid ongoing transfer rumors. Last season, Kubo scored eight goals and added six assists, establishing himself as one of La Liga's most productive wingers. Everton have also reportedly contacted Real Sociedad about a possible move for the Japanese star, according to Fabrizio Romano. Real Sociedad reject offer for PSG, Tottenham targetFichajes reports that Atlético de Madrid are eager to bring Kubo from Real Sociedad. The Madrid club has reportedly offered €35 million plus goalkeeper Carlos Marín, a standout in Atlético's reserve team. However, Real Sociedad's response was firm: they won't negotiate for less than €60 million, close to Kubo's release clause. The report mention that from the player's point of view, the situation is complicated. Kubo feels at home at Real Sociedad, where he plays a key role and enjoys strong support from the fans. On top of that, the Basque club will compete in European competitions, giving him an international stage to keep developing. Recently, Fichajes reported that Kubo's future is making headlines in the summer transfer window. The Japanese winger has requested to leave Real Sociedad, sparking interest from three major European clubs: Atlético de Madrid, Tottenham, and PSG.

Report – Inter Milan Offered Ex Juventus &France Star But Marseille Want €15M

Agents have reportedly offered Serie A runners-up Inter Milan a chance to sign Marseille midfielder Adrien Rabiot. According to RMC Sport via FCInterNews, Les Olympiens are open to discussing the Frenchman's agent. However, they have slapped a €15 million price tag on the 30-year-old star. Per FCInterNews, Rabiot's representatives have offered their client to the Nerazzurri as he seeks a return to Serie A. Meanwhile, Inter are not enthusiastic about signing the former Juventus ace. Sky Sport reports via FCInterNews that Cristian Chivu's men are searching for a midfielder with different characteristics. Despite Hakan Calhanoglu's failed transfer to Fenerbahce or Galatasaray, the Nerazzurri could sign another midfielder. Indeed, they've already acquired the services of Petar Sucic. However, Cristian Chivu wants to add more depth to his squad, with Inter set to compete for trophies on multiple fronts. Although Rabiot would offer experience and quality, the Serie A giants prefer someone more versatile.
