Jobe Bellingham arrives in Germany ahead of his £27.8million move to Borussia Dortmund - as the teenager prepares to follow in brother Jude's footsteps
Jobe Bellingham has been pictured arriving in Germany ahead of his move to Borussia Dortmund.
The 19-year-old was integral to Sunderland 's success last season as they secured a return to the top flight after beating Sheffield United in the play-off final.
However, despite the prospect of playing Premier League football awaiting him, Bellingham appears to have opted to follow in his brother Jude's footsteps by joining Borussia Dortmund.
After three years at Dortmund, Jude - who spoke to his brother via video call after the play-off final - went on to join Real Madrid, and is now key player in the Spanish capital.
Mail Sport reported this weekend that Dortmund will pay an initial £27.8million fee plus £4.2m in potential add-ons, and that a 15 per cent sell-on fee has been included in the deal.
The transfer is set to see Bellingham become Sunderland's record sale, overtaking the £25m Everton paid to sign Jordan Pickford in 2017.

In doing so, he will follow in brother Jude's(left) footsteps by plying his trade in the Bundesliga
On Monday Bellingham was filmed touching down at Dortmund Airport before being wheeled away from the tarmac ahead of his medical at the Bundesliga club.
The England youth international was also pictured arriving at his destination with official confirmation of the move now expected imminently.
Like his elder brother, Bellingham began his career at boyhood club Birmingham and made his senior debut for the club aged just 16.
Bellingham would go on to make 26 appearances for the Blues in all competitions for the Blues before joining Sunderland in 2023.
In his first season at the Stadium of Light Bellingham netted seven goals as the club finished 16th in the second tier.
The arrival of French manager Regis Le Bris in the intervening summer proved transformative for the Black Cats, and they went on to book their place back in the Premier League after a eight-year absence.

Tore Andre Flo believes his former club Chelsea should sign Norway international star Antonio Nusa in the summer transfer window. The Blues are looking to recruit a new winger after sending Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United following his loan spell in west London. They are already in talks to sign Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Gittens but Flo feels Nusa – who plays for RB Leipzig – should also be in Chelsea's sights. The 20-year-old, who is valued at €28m (£23.6m) by Transfermarkt, can be deployed as a winger or attacking midfielder and is under contract with his current club until 2029. Flo has been left impressed by his Norwegian compatriot after his performance in the 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Italy on Friday, in which Nusa assisted his country's first goal and then scored the second.
