At 9:30 AM, Nazara Tech shares were down 5.6 per cent at ₹1,322.5 per share on the BSE. The stock hit an intraday low of ₹1,312 earlier today.
The decline in Nazara Tech shares came after reports suggested the government has finalised a draft legislation to ban all forms of online real-money gaming (RMG) in India and will introduce it in Parliament on Wednesday.
On its part, Nazara Tech has said that Nazara has no direct exposure to real money gaming (RMG) businesses. As per its latest reported financials (Q1FY26), the contribution to Revenues and Ebitda by RMG business is NIL.
The company's only indirect exposure to RMG is through its 46.07-per cent stake in Moonshine Technologies Private Limited (PokerBaazi).
