NFL schedule leak: Steelers Week 16, tough NFC North road matchup revealed
One of the most difficult road matchups on the Pittsburgh Steelers' schedule has just been leaked — as Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan has revealed that the Steel City brand of football will travel to face the Detroit Lions in Week 16 of the 2025 season.
The Lions went 15-2 last season — earning the top seed in the NFC — and are considered Super Bowl contenders in 2025.
Detroit's high-powered offense seemingly has no weaknesses: one of, if not the best offensive line in the NFL, two fantastic wide receivers in Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, two great running backs in Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, and one of the league's best young tight ends in Sam LaPorta.
It appears to be a complete mismatch for the Steelers on paper, but the retooled defense could help Pittsburgh stay competitive in the contest — despite lingering question marks surrounding the Black and Gold offense in 2025.
Will Pittsburgh pull off an upset in Week 16 — or will the Lions continue their dominance into 2025 and roll through the Steelers in this late-season matchup?

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Will Spend a ‘Different' NFL Season This Time, Claims ‘Source'

Now that Taylor Swift's 'Eras' tour is officially over, she will reportedly attend an NFL season with Travis Kelce without worrying about exhaustive commitments. One of the most discussed couples in the industry, Swift and Kelce are reportedly ready to bring a blend of pop culture and sports to the stadium. According to a source, the upcoming season will pave the way for their romance to be unencumbered by busy schedules. After concluding the 'Eras' tour, Taylor Swift is reportedly gearing up for the next NFL season with Travis Kelce. Since the beginning of the couple's romance in 2023, the upcoming NFL season will be the first one where Swift will not keep busy with the tour commitments. According to PEOPLE's insider, for this reason, Swift is particularly excited for Kelce's upcoming season. The insider suggested the season's uniqueness, saying, 'This fall will be completely different. It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.' Swift was busy with her record-breaking 'Eras' tour till her last stop at Vancouver in December. Meanwhile, her boyfriend was navigating his football career. Hence, the past two seasons tested the couple's endurance and patience. The source noted, 'The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible.' They added, 'It wasn't easy but they made it work.' The source further claimed Swift planned to attend as many of Kelce's games as possible. 'Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped, and she's genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently,' reported the insider. While rumors about their split and their marriage swirl around, all eyes will be on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce this NFL season. Steelers' Will Howard thankful for 'great mentor' Aaron Rodgers: 'He's been so good to me'

Aaron Rodgers is doing everything he can to mentor Will Howard — and the Steelers rookie greatly appreciates it. At mandatory minicamp, Howard was asked by reporters how his interactions have been with Rodgers — and this was his response (courtesy of Steelers Live): '[Rodgers] is a great mentor — already treated me with the utmost respect and just been really good to me,' Howard said. 'And a guy like that, he doesn't have to do that. I really just appreciate him being willing to take me under his wing a little bit and give me pointers and tips here and there. There's already some things that he's said to me that have already helped me.' Howard told reporters that Rodgers advised him not to get too wide at the top of his five-step drop, in order to generate more force in his throws — a difference the rookie says he already felt on the field. What Jets' Aaron Glenn said about Aaron Rodgers signing with the Steelers

What Jets' Aaron Glenn said about Aaron Rodgers signing with the Steelers The New York Jets will see a familiar foe in their first game under the watch of head coach Aaron Glenn. Former Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. That union was long expected but has finally actually happened. The Jets also broke for the six weeks as the offseason is in full swing. Minicamp just ended this past week. Just before departing, Glenn was asked about facing Rodgers, who he decided to part ways with earlier this spring in one of his first decisions as head coach. Glenn did his best to downplay it, but he did admit he was trying to "hold back" his smile when asked about Rodgers. Glenn's full thoughts can be found in the clip below:
