Khloe Kardashian suffered 'filler blindness' and looked like a 'cartoon character'

Perth Now17-07-2025
Khloe Kardashian suffered from "filler blindness" and looked like a "cartoon character" after applying too many filters to her pictures.
The Kardashians star, 41, has opened up about her previous love of facial fillers, admitting it made her look odd but she has given up the treatment in recent years and now only has filler applied to a spot on her face where she had a tumour removed so it doesn't look "indented".
During an episode of her Khloe In Wonderland podcast, the TV personality explained: "I've ... done Botox and fillers. I don't love fillers anymore.
"Still love Botox. I do lasers on a monthly basis. Love a fucking laser, skin tightening, anything I'll do for skin tightening. But the only facial surgery I've done is the nose job."
"I noticed my face looking not the way I like it - I would say stranger - when I was doing fillers. I didn't like that look, but I think we had filler blindness for a moment, or some people did."
Khloe went on to talk about editing her social media snaps - admitting she went too far and the alterations made her look like a "cartoon character".
She said: "There was a time that I definitely did [edit every picture]. There was a time that I was around some people that would make me feel like I needed to. I also think it was the era, too. I felt like a lot of people were photoshopping, or heavily photoshopping, more than they do now.
"I do feel like there was a time that we all just got consumed in this filter lifestyle, and we couldn't see ourselves without a filter."
She added: "There was a time that ... I wouldn't dare post a photo without heavily photoshopping. And in hindsight, when I look back at those photos, it's a cartoon character.
"It's humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself. I feel bad that I thought I needed to look like that."
Khloe insisted editing pictures became quite normal in the entertainment industry and she got used to seeing the new version of herself until she made the decision to "reprogram" her mind.
She said: "I was around people who were all doing that. If they took my photo, they would make me look that way before giving it to me. And then I would think that's how I looked.
"If I got paparazzied [sic[, I'd be like: 'I don't look like that. I look like this photo'. And I really had to reprogram my mind to be like: 'Okay, we have to lay off the filters. This isn't real. That's not how I look, and I don't want to look like that.'
"It was a strange time."
Khloe now takes more pictures so she can choose one she likes instead of editing every single snap.
She added: "[I will take] 500 photos to get one I like ... I definitely have more controlled photos, like [with] good lighting, and I might take a bunch to get the ones I like, but I don't have to photoshop every photo."

Kourtney Kardashian shuts down pregnancy rumours

Kourtney Kardashian has shut down rumours she's pregnant. The 46-year-old Poosh founder has been inundated with comments about her looking pregnant in her holiday pictures from Portofino, Italy. In response, Kourtney insisted she is simply indulging in Italian cuisine and is still breastfeeding her 20-month-old son Rocky - whom she has with husband Travis Barker. One user commented on the Instagram carousel she posted from the vacation: "You can tell from the bikini reflection photo Kourtney is pregnant again." The Kardashians star - who also has Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and 10-year-old Reign with ex-partner Scott Disick - replied: 'Or breastfeeding, eating gelato, focaccia, pasta, not working out and living my best damn life baby!' Travis is also dad to Landon, 21, Alabama, 19, and stepdaughter Atiana, 26, from his marriage to Shanna Moakler. And, Kourtney recently said she believes their blended family has given them a "deeper" existence. Appearing on her sister Khloe Kardashian's Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, she said: 'I love my role as stepmom, because I don't feel like its up to me to discipline. 'We've kind of allowed each other to—we'll talk about it, he can handle the harder things. I definitely give advice or try to be a good role model. 'Some days I've thought like, 'Wow, this is really hard blending families.' But even in the days that are hard, there's so much more love. It's such a deeper, richer existence.'

Khloe Kardashian labelled ‘delusional' after wild Photoshop claim

Fans aren't buying Khloe Kardashian's claim that she no longer Photoshops her pictures. Kardashian claimed on Wednesday's episode of Khloé in Wonderland that she doesn't edit her Instagram photos anymore in response to a fan who wrote in, 'You Photoshop every picture you post.' While Kardashian claimed she's stopped the practice, she acknowledged that she used to do it. The mum of two admitted she was influenced by others to alter her photos and that it was common during the era. 'I think there was a time we were all consumed by this filter lifestyle and we couldn't see ourselves without a filter,' she said. 'I mean, there's definitely days where it's like, 'Ugh, I need a filter, I don't feel good about myself,' but, I'm on video.' 'And I do like myself better on video than stills,' she continued. 'I don't think I'm the most photogenic but I'll take 500 photos to get the one that I like. That's OK, I'm allowed to do that.' Kardashian said she looks back on some of her heavily edited photos and now thinks she 'looks like a cartoon character.' 'It's humiliating that I even thought that was a version of myself,' she admitted. 'I really had to reprogram my mind, like, we have to lay off the filters. This isn't real, that's not how I look, and I don't want to look like that.' The Good American co-founder, 41, insisted that she's changed. 'But currently now, no,' she said. But many fans didn't believe her, noting in Instagram comments that the video of her podcast itself appears to have a filter. 'This damn video has a filter. What are we even talking about?,' one comment reads. 'In the pasttttttt? Now babe,' another comment reads. One user snarked, 'And By past, she means Yesterday..' 'Sitting up there just delusional with a filter on the video chileeeeee smh,' another wrote. 'Why are you still lying Khloè it's okay, we know you still do,' yet another critical comment reads. Kardashian's rep did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. Kardashian has been accused multiple times of Photoshop fails. In April, fans called her out on Reddit for seemingly heavily editing a promotional photo for her podcast after seeing raw footage of the shoot on The Kardashians. One fan posted a screenshot of the reality star in the April 10 episode of her family's Hulu show and compared it to the final photo, in which her face were noticeably smoothed out. 'This is actually insane. These are two completely different people,' one commenter wrote. In June, the reality star broke down every cosmetic surgery and procedure she's had while commenting on an Instagram Reel of a doctor speculating about her plastic surgery. While she admitted to getting a nose job, Botox, undergoing laser treatments and even a salmon sperm facial, she also attributed her changing looks over the years to her 36kg weight loss.
