Vampire Rom-Com From Ghosts Bosses Lands CBS Pilot Order
The Eye network has ordered a pilot for a single-camera sitcom titled Eternally Yours, about a pair of vampires and their daughter, TVLine has learned. Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, who adapted Ghosts for CBS after it first aired in the UK, will serve as writers and executive producers. Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum and Jason Wang also serve as EPs.

Eternally Yours is described as 'an eternal love story about two vampires who have been married for five hundred years, and their struggles to accept the human who is dating their daughter,' per the official description. CBS initially ordered a development room for the project, which began earlier this year and has since wrapped.
Port and Wiseman serve as showrunners of the U.S. version of Ghosts, which premiered on CBS in 2021 and centers on a young couple who inherited a remote mansion that is inhabited by the spirits of people who died there. It was renewed for a fifth season, which debuts Thursday, Oct. 16 at 8:30/7:30c, following Young Sheldon spinoff Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. (See the full CBS fall premiere schedule here.)

Stephen Colbert has reportedly already secured his next gig following the recent cancellation of 'The Late Show.' The comedian, 61, is staying put in the world of late-night after signing on as a guest star in the CBS series 'Elsbeth,' Vulture reports. In response, Pierce said that he could potentially 'make that happen.' Former White House aide and 'The View' co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin weighed in on former Vice President Kamala Harris's appearance on Stephen Colbert's 'The Late Show,' arguing the interview, her first since losing to President Trump in the 2024 election, represents everything that is 'wrong' with Democrats since the November presidential race. 'I was struck by, I'm going to try not be too harsh on this. This interview felt like a microcosm of everything that's wrong with Democrats postelection. I'm going to CBS and this sort of trying to make a point that they fired Stephen Colbert, which many on the left called an attack on democracy, a man who was making $20 million a year, someone I hold in high esteem, but the economics of his show were not working,' Farah Griffin said during her Saturday morning appearance on CNN. 'He was losing $40 million a year. He was in the Ed Sullivan Theater, which is expensive, to talk about the plight of democracy at CBS, a network that's having its own struggles right now, rather than talking about the economics of the situation and playing to something a shrinking audience that is network television, not realizing it's not where the American voters are,' 'The View' co-host said while on CNN's 'Table For Five.' The network has decided to move on from a three-time Pro Bowler. Last week, CBS unveiled its game announcers for the 2025 regular season. As you'd expect, the ton names like Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Ian Eagle will remain key contributors for the network. Former NFL running back Tiki Barber, however, was left off this list from CBS. He has been a game analyst for CBS since 2019, working alongside Andrew Catalon, Matt Ryan and a few other broadcasters. Though we're not entirely sure why, CBS has replaced Barber with Charles Davis. Here's the 2025 broadcast roster for CBS: Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson Ian Eagle, J.J.
