Taylor Swift's albums are soaring on charts around the world this week after the singer-songwriter announced that she has finally gained control over the masters to her early work. Every title in her catalog is benefiting from the exciting news, but none seem to have attracted the ardor of her legion of fans quite like Reputation.
In the U.K., the project nearly returned to the top of the charts, and it narrowly misses out on the No. 1 spot as interest in the set explodes.
Reputation reappears on the Official Albums Download chart at No. 2. It's blocked from reclaiming the throne on the list of the most-downloaded projects in the nation by Something Beautiful, the latest full-length by Miley Cyrus. That project kicks off its time on two of the five rankings on which it debuts at No. 1.
While Reputation just barely misses out on landing at No. 1 on the Official Albums Download chart this week, it has previously spent time in the penthouse. The electronic-leaning effort opened in that position in November 2017, when it was brand new.
Since then, Reputation has racked up a total of 75 stays on the 100-spot roster, three of which have been inside the top 10 — though it hasn't been seen in that region since December 2017, just a few frames after it arrived.
Reputation is currently present on half a dozen charts in the U.K., and it lives inside the top 10 on four of them. The set reappears on four rankings, bolting from No. 70 to No. 7 on the Official Albums chart, the main ranking of the most consumed projects in the country. It also finds its way back to the uppermost tier on the Official Albums Sales roster at No. 6 and the Official Physical Albums list at No. 10.
Reputation only misses the top 10 on the Official Albums Streaming and Official Vinyl Albums charts, landing at Nos. 12 and 14, respectively. The hit-packed project climbs dozens of spaces on the streaming-only roster, but has to reappear on the vinyl tally, as sales of the set had dwindled in recent years after Swift made clear that she was no longer supporting consumption of the effort until she got around to recording Reputation (Taylor's Version) — something that may never arrive at this point.

'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 3 Trailer Is Shocking Fans
For those who waited for the trailer to drop just last night, you've probably inspected every moment and rewatched it about three dozen times already. But if you haven't, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 trailer has officially dropped and it has everyone on the edge of their seats. See the official trailer below. Now, if that three minute trailer wasn't enough to have you counting down the days until July 16, then—well, who are we kidding—everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of season 3. With new loves evolving and first loves returning, The Summer I Turned Pretty is sure to be worth the wait. The trailer teases exciting things for its final episodes including a potential marriage, former flames reuniting, a car accident and plenty more moments from the third book that you'll enjoy. It was the song change heard around the world. A teaser for Season three of The Summer I Turned Pretty has officially dropped, and fans can't stop talking about it. The 52-second clip gives fans of Team Jeremiah a 40-second montage of their sweetest moments from the upcoming season to enjoy. But it's the last seven seconds that really got people in a frenzy. Not only did the clip feed fans of both brothers, but Taylor Swift fans noticed a major change in music that says everything. In fact, take a look at the teaser and find out why everyone is gearing up for an exciting season. If you're not a deep-rooted Taylor Swift fan or you don't know every lyric by heart, you might've missed this key moment in the new teaser. But Jenny Han, the showrunner and author of The Summer I Turned Pretty books, always has something up her sleeve and eagle-eyed fans have caught on. The clip with Belly (Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) features the Taylor Swift song, 'Daylight,' a song that explores leaving a dark period and exploring the light of a new love. The track plays in the background of a montage of the two lovers. But when the clip switches to Conrad (Christopher Briney) at the front door (with the candy cane!), so does the song. When he appears, the clip goes quiet and soon 'Red' begins playing with the lyric, 'But loving him was Red.' This change might seem small to some, but certified Taylor Swift fans know there is significant meaning behind this. The song 'Red' explores the feeling of loss over an almost-perfect relationship that can't be forgotten. So, when the song begins playing over a clip of Conrad, it shows that Belly hasn't truly moved on from him and that she still holds him and their previous relationship in her heart. As the lyric in 'Daylight' goes: 'I once believed love would be (burning red) … But it's golden,' while the lyric in 'Red' says, 'But loving him was red.' And considering Belly has loved Conrad for her entire life, it's clear he is her 'red' love. Han has kept the secrets of season 3 close to the vest, but the synopsis of the show has given a little bit of insight on what to expect in the upcoming episodes. 'It's the end of her junior year of college, and Belly's looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life,' the synopsis reads. 'Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart.' And while fans of the original books think they know how the third season will go, Han has said that just might not be the case. 'There are the things that [fans] know and then there are things they think they know, and then there's going to be, hopefully, things that surprise them,' she explained. But don't fret: Han knows how to keep her fans happy and with the thrilling new teaser, it seems she is going to give everyone just what they want. Keep reading for more entertainment! Ananda Lewis, former MTV and BET host who publicly shared breast cancer journey, dies
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ananda Lewis, the former MTV and BET host who became a beloved television personality in the 1990s with her warmth and authenticity, has died. She was 52. Her sister, Lakshmi Emory, confirmed Lewis' death in a Facebook post Wednesday. Lewis had been battling breast cancer. 'She's free, and in His heavenly arms,' Emory wrote. 'Lord, rest her soul.' Lewis, a San Diego native, made a name for herself as a host on BET's 'Teen Summit,' which tackled issues facing Black youth and featured community leaders, entertainers and politicians. She landed big interviews with Kobe Bryant, Tupac Shakur and Louis Farrakhan and then-first lady Hillary Clinton, which earned her an NAACP Image Award. After a few seasons, Lewis took her talents over to MTV in 1997. She was a host and veejay on 'MTV Live.' 'Hot Zone' and 'Total Request Live,' a daily top 10 video countdown show. Lewis told The Associated Press that she felt some backlash after moving from BET to MTV. 'I wouldn't say in a strong way because I think most people who were in my fan base at 'Teen Summit' understand that growth is necessary,' she said. 'One of the main things we dealt with on a consistent basis, like the underlying theme of all the shows is you've got to get out there and live your life. The bottom line is this is about you, so how do you want to grow and whom do you want to develop into? My justification is that I say to kids: 'be your best and take advantage of every opportunity,' so I couldn't sit in a place of not taking advantage of an opportunity.' In 2001, Lewis told the AP that she wasn't trying to reinvent daytime talk with her new syndicated series, 'The Ananda Lewis Show.' 'There's only so much different you can do in daytime, which is what I'm learning. There's a certain way, I guess, people are used to doing things and that way's not going to change for a while,' she said. 'I think there's a formula, and some cases have proven that formula works. So the objective isn't to reinvent the wheel but to make it spin a little more smoothly.' Lewis' show lasted only one season. But a few years later, she became a correspondent for 'The Insider,' a spinoff of 'Entertainment Tonight.' Lewis was open about her cancer journey since she publicly shared her diagnosis in 2020. At that time, the disease was initially stage 3 before it advanced to stage 4 last year. She had been living with breast cancer for six years. Lewis said doctors recommended a double mastectomy, but she opted for alternative methods. She eventually realized that was the wrong measure, becoming an advocate for being up-to-date with mammogram checkups. 'I need you to share this with the women in your life who may be as stubborn as I was about mammograms, and I need you to tell them that they have to do it,' Lewis said in her announcement. 'Early detection, especially for breast cancer, changes your outcome. It can save their life.'

Rigmor Newman, Behind-the-Scenes Fixture of the Jazz World, Dies at 86
Rigmor Newman, who began her career in Sweden as a singer and beauty queen and went on to become a fixture in the U.S. jazz world as a concert and film producer as well as a talent manager, died on April 26 in the Bronx. She was 86. Her daughter, Annie Newman, said she died in a hospital from complications of Parkinson's disease. Her death was not widely reported at the time. Ms. Newman, who sang at the Nobel Prize banquet in Stockholm in 1957, arrived in New York in the early 1960s after marrying Joe Newman, a standout trumpeter in the Count Basie and Lionel Hampton orchestras. She later managed the Nicholas Brothers, a gravity-defying dance duo that dazzled cinema audiences starting in the late 1930s, and became heroes to many Black Americans. Harold Nicholas of the Nicholas Brothers became her second husband. Among her many professional incarnations, Ms. Newman served as the executive director of Jazz Interactions, a nonprofit organization promoting jazz throughout the New York metropolitan area, which Joe Newman helped found in the early 1960s.
