Feeney denies Randle maiden Supercars win in Tasmania

Broc Feeney has upstaged Tickford rival Thomas Randle to claim the opening Supercars sprint in Tasmania.
Feeney used the side draft on the inside to slingshot himself ahead of pole-sitter Randle on lap 11 of the 120km sprint and set up victory at Symmons Plains on Saturday.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a massive 7.937-second buffer over Randle.
Brad Jones Racing driver Bryce Fullwood followed Randle to claim his third-ever podium, having claimed his most recent top-three finish at the same racetrack last year.
Feeney jumps to third in the championship with his second win of the season, denying Randle a maiden career victory in a restaging of last year's duel.
Tensions had flared between the two drivers when Randle had shunted Feeney late in their last visit to Symmons Plains.
Randle, then fourth, was trailing Feeney with a handful of laps remaining when he locked his wheels coming into the infamous hairpin and ploughed into the Camaro.
Feeney finished 15th and Randle, incurring a 15-second penalty, 18th.
Randle was later barred by Triple Eight team manager Mark Dutton from entering their garage to apologise to Feeney after the race.
A slow visit to the pit lane dashed fellow Triple Eight driver Will Brown's podium hopes on Saturday, the defending champion made to settle for a finish in fifth.
Randle's Tickford teammate Cam Waters crossed the finish line in fourth after qualifying third.
Brad Jones Racing driver Macauley Jones was last in 24th after copping a 15-second penalty for spinning Dick Johnson Racing's Will Davison at the hairpin.
The second 120km sprint on Saturday gets underway at 3.55pm (AEST).
