Boots sale drops 'streak free' £22 self tan 'perfect for pale skin' to just £10
Beauty fans don't have long to take advantage of Boots' deal on this "best fake tan."
Finding a flawless self-tan at the best of times can be difficult. However, for those with a pale skin type, it can pose an even more difficult challenge.
Not only can they often look fairly streaky on a lighter skin tone, but they can also show up any hint of orange. However, one product that beauty buffs have ranked as "the best" is the Skinny Tan Self-Tanning Mousse - and it's currently on offer.
High street firm Boots is back with its popular online £10 Tuesday deals. And included today, May 13, is the popular self-tanner that often retails at £21.99, allowing shoppers to save £11.99 - but only today.
It is worth noting that, while the health and beauty chain's website still stocks the brand name as Skinny Tan, it has since been rebranded as Skin & Tan, which means shoppers could receive either packaging but have been assured it is the same product.
According to the brand itself, this is its "most foolproof tan" that is suitable for beginners and experienced users. Its light and airy mousse formula has been infused with the firm's Skinny Tan Technology that leaves a "streak free" glow that will fade evenly.
Formulated with a coconut and vanilla scent to banish that dreaded 'biscuit smell', this "fast drying" and "non sticky" formula also incorporates natural aloe vera and caffeine-rich guava to leave skin feeling hydrated and moisturised.

Product Description
An alternative for beauty fans unsure about the mousse formula is the Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer Self-Tan Body Mist that is currently half-price on Amazon. It is now £6.25 after being dropped from £12.50.
Meanwhile, one of the most popular mousse formula self-tanners on the market is the Coco & Eve Bali Bronzing Foam that can now be bought for 20 per cent less on Lookfantastic.
Boots shoppers who have bought the Skinny Tan Self-Tanning Mousse have left it glowing reviews, as they say that its formula "glides on like silk" and is "so easy to apply."
One Boots shopper who said the mousse is "perfect for pale skin" also wrote: "The new formula of this glides on like silk.. I use a mitt and it's never streaky and no fake tan smell whatsoever!
"It is a bit sticky straight after you've applied it but I just use some talcum powder to dry some areas and it works perfectly. I don't mind a bit of stickiness because I love the colour so much.
"The guide colour may look a bit ashy at first but give it 6-8 hours to develop (preferably overnight) and you will be delighted with the outcome. I use the medium colour because I want it to look as natural as possible and I'm never disappointed. I just love this product."
Beauty deal of the week
Beauty fans looking to get a golden glow will know the benefit of tanning drops.
One bottle that has "blown away" shoppers is the Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer Self Tan Face Drops - and they cost under £11 a bottle.
Ideal for those who don't want to go through the hassle of using a tanning mitt to prevent patchiness or orange-tones, these "lightweight" drops can be easily mixed into your favourite moisturiser for a flawless glow.
Since the drops offer a "buildable" bronzed look, many reviews have suggested that one of the positives is the ability to "control" the depth of their tan, unlike other products that deliver just one specific shade.
Enriched with skin-loving ingredients hyaluronic acid and coconut water, these Garnier drops also work to keep your skin "intensely moisturised" day by day.
Of course, with the reputation Garnier's Natural Bronzer Face Drops have earned, it's no surprise they have 4.2 rating based on over 2,000 reviews on Amazon alone, as shoppers call them a "little bottle of magic" for a "natural sun-kissed glow."
One purchaser said: "Blown away! I'm not a phaffer. I generally don't bother with things like tan and bronzer. But this little bottle of magic changed all that! I love it! I pop it on with my moisturiser and a couple of hours later I am actually glowing!
"I've been asked repeatedly if I've been on holiday, lost weight, got a new person, had a facelift or found a genie in a bottle. I'm so scared of running out I've stocked up!!"
Shop the Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer Self Tan Face Drops for £10.67 on Amazon here.
Another five-star review read: "Best fake tan I have used. Goes on great with the skinny tan mitt and no streaks when you rinse next morning don't use soap or shower gel when rinsing as this causes streaks."
Someone else added: "I actually really love this! I'm fair and like a natural tan. It smells good and is so easy to apply. No streaks and I really love the colour! Not too dark. Just right for me and fades well."
Not everyone has been keen on the green tint to the formula, as one shopper said: "I bought this today and went to use it and it came out bright green.
"Looked it up on the internet and apparently skinny tan has a greenish tinge so I tried it. Had to take it off within 5 minutes because the green was getting worse. Will be returning tomorrow."
Nevertheless, a more positive shopper wrote: "I usually use St Tropez but thought I would give this a go for a change, and I'm glad that I did.
"Very subtle, no orange colour or streaks, but do use the skinny tan Mitt. Was a bit worried at first as the mousse did have a green tinge. You can deepen the colour by doing it daily."

Big tub of 5-star rated Weleda body butter hits £10 sale for 24 hours
Weleda's iconic Skin Food range is loved by Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham – and now the hero body butter is on sale with a £12 saving Boots' sought-after £10 Tuesday sale is back, and the deals are hotter than a heatwave in July. Every Tuesday, the high street fave cherry-picks a mix of must-haves and slashes its prices down to just £10, with savings often hitting a jaw-dropping 40–75% off RRP. While skincare usually nabs the limelight (and rightly so), the offer casts a wide net– think beauty tech, dental care, grooming goodies, bath & body treats and make-up bag staples. This week, we've got our eye on one standout that we don't often see featured in sales: Weleda's Skin Food Body Butter. Usually, a 150ml tub of this will set you back £21.95, but today it's been slashed to £10 for 24 hours, giving you a near-£12 saving. If you're already a fan of the cult Weleda Skin Food, prepare to fall head over heels for its ultra-nourishing big sister: Skin Food Body Butter. Housed in a big tub, this velvety-rich body moisturiser harnesses the same plant-powered magic – viola tricolour, calendula and chamomile – with added oomph from organic shea and cocoa butters. The texture is rich but not greasy, melts in like a dream post-shower and leaves skin cocooned in moisture with a gentle hit of calming lavender and zesty orange. Loved by beauty insiders and celebs alike, the Skin Food range has the thumbs up from Meghan Markle, Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham and Hailey Bieber, to name just a few, and this body butter in particular is said to be a hero of the collection. Though many reviewers on Boots call it a winter wonder, it also earns praise from repeat buyers who say it transforms the dry skin on their legs and arms, allowing them to confidently wear dresses and short-sleeved tops. One 5-star review writes more specifically: "I have VERY VERY dry skin on my legs and with one use this product changed all of that for years I spent a fortune on moisturisers that never worked. A small amount goes a long way, £10 deal is excellent. 5 stars." "Absolutely Fantastic body moisturiser. I've used a lot over the years, and this one is really wonderful. My legs start to look dry during summer. This butter keeps them soft for 48 hours. It's brilliant, and I would highly recommend it. The company themselves are also worth a look!" another writes. A third says: "I was using a far more expensive brand similar to this cream up until a friend recommended it to me for dry patches and hand cream. That was 5 years ago. I've been buying it ever since and introduced it to my mother. I've also started wearing it on my face at night. It feels a bit heavy on your face at first, but give it time to do its magic, and you won't regret it. Great cream to restore your skin, especially during the winter months." A fourth concludes: "I gotta say, WELEDA Skin Food Body Butter is a game-changer! This stuff is like a creamy dream for your skin. It's so rich and nourishing, it feels like a treat. I've been using it for a while now, and my skin has never felt so soft and hydrated. Plus, it has a lovely, subtle scent that's not overpowering. I'm officially hooked! If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out." That same reviewer, however, also caveats: "While I'm head over heels for WELEDA Skin Food Body Butter, it's only fair to mention a couple of downsides. It can feel a bit heavy, especially if you apply too much, so it might not be ideal for those who prefer a lighter lotion. Also, the price is a bit on the higher side for a body butter." If you get to the £10 Tuesday deal a little late, Ocado is also currently offering the Weleda Skin Food Body Butter for £10 as well. Elsewhere, if a body butter is on your shopping list, you can pick up Garnier's Body Superfood, Repairing Body Butter on LookFantastic for £5 instead of £9.99 today. The Body Shop's Mango Body Yogurt is also a summery steal at £13.

I've had loads of compliments and I feel very summery in it. The sleeves are elbow length on me (hiding my saggy arms) which is great and the overall length is perfect as a midi dress." One shopper found the inclusion of pockets to be a 'real bonus', adding: "This is my second Lucy Eco Vero dress, and I like it as much as the first. The style is really flattering and hides my lumps and bumps! Great fit, very flattering, neck line is a perfect v, not too revealing but still a lovely shape. Breathable and pretty fabric that skims over problem areas not baggy, no issues with crumples. Plus pockets." Article continues below However, not all customers were enamoured with the Lucy dress, with some finding it overwhelmed their figure. One such customer explained: "The dress itself didn't suit me at all. Even though the material was lovely there was just too much of it. The sleeves and skirt were huge. Which was a real shame." But, this wasn't the case for another shopper that wrote: "Fabulous dress and very flattering. Ideal for warm days and holidays. The usual excellent quality. Perfect for a summer wedding."

Boots shoppers bag £40 box that gets £115 worth of Laura Mercier, No7 and more free
Boots shoppers bag £40 box that gets £115 worth of Laura Mercier, No7 and more free The high street chain has slashed the price of luxury products, including Laura Mercier and Liz Earle, as part of the beauty deal The set makes the perfect gift for yourself or your loved ones (Image: Boots ) Products from top-name brands like Laura Mercier, Liz Earle, No7 and Shisedo have been reduced to £4 each as part of a beauty offer at Boots. This comes as the health and beauty retailer has released a Pamper Beauty Box that shoppers are saying is 'perfect' and 'great value.' Offering customers savings of over £115 on its contents, the box is priced at £40 but contains £156 worth of luxurious skincare and body care goodies. The lavish selection includes 10 pampering items, seven of which are full-sized, from popular brands such as Liz Earle, BYOMA, and Sundae. As part of this collection, each product averages at £4, a remarkable deal considering some items are valued at over £20 individually. For instance, the delectably fragranced Laura Mercier Soufflé Hand Cream in Almond Coconut - a premium hand cream with a velvety finish - would typically cost shoppers £28 on its own. Also exceeding £20 in value is the Bloom and Blossom Mission Moisture , a deeply hydrating body cream priced at £24. Shoppers have loved discovering the lesser-known brand, with one five star comment reading: 'I brought this last week or so, I love how it has introduced me to new brands such as Blossom. Also there is a good variety of items. Perfect for everyday use.' The Pamper Beauty Box (Image: Boots ) The edit also features the £28 Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Cream, which is a lightweight moisturiser, infused with skin-nourishing botanicals, hydrates the skin, making it a perfect choice for the warmer weather. Here's everything inside the Boots Pamper Beauty Box: Byoma Body Smoothing Body Serum 200ml – Full Size - £13.99 Sundae Orange Crush Whipped Shower Foam 265ml – Full Size - £12.95 First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads 28 – Full Size - £18 Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Cream 50ml – Full Size - £28 Laura Mercier Soufflé Hand Cream in Almond Coconut 50ml – Full Size - £28 Bloom and Blossom Mission Moisture Body Cream 200ml – Full Size - £24 Shiseido Vital Perfection Eye Mask 12g - £6 No7 Instant Results Nourishing Hydration Mask 100ml – Full Size - £14.95 Boots Wavy Jaw Clip (Pink) - £3 Lancaster Sun Perfect Illuminating Cream SPF50 3ml - £2.40 Boots isn't the only retailer offering self-care essentials to pamper customers. LookFantastic is selling the Summer Heroes Edit for £45, a significant bargain considering its value of over £150, saving buyers a whopping £105. This exclusive package includes six beauty treasures, four of which are full-sized items from luxury brands like Sol de Janeiro and ESPA. LookFanatstic's The Summer Heroes Edit (Image: LookFantastic ) Space NK is also offering an exciting collection inspired by the viral TikTok trend 'the everything shower'. This luxurious assortment of bath, body, and haircare products costs £70 but is worth £165, featuring renowned brands such as Sol de Janeiro, Living Proof and Alpha-H. However, it's important to remember that these boxes are pre-selected, leaving no room for personalisation. This could mean that buyers might not fancy one or two items, or some contents may not be suitable for their skin type. Therefore, we always advise reviewing the full contents before proceeding to 'add to basket'. That said, so far the Boots Pamper Edit has received nothing but five star reviews. One commented: 'Amazing box, pretty much full sized everything except the little sample sized sun cream with a claw clip and pair of luxury eye masks thrown in. This box is well thought out and put together with a lovely selection of products perfect for pampering. There are no duds as with some boxes and the price is very good value. Really happy with this.' Article continues below Many have even given it as a gift, which looks way more expensive than the price you pay. 'Great little gift for the wife, great value for money,' said one, while another added: 'Got it for my sister as a gift, looks lovely, great products for really good price, love it.' The Boots Beauty Pamper Box can be purchased for £40.
