Shoppers can snap up brand new Samsung Galaxy Watch7 for only 30p a day in Sky deal
It is an exciting time for everyone when the latest line of tech from a brand hits the market. While some people have been waiting in anticipation to get their hands on the newest high quality gadgets, others look forward to the time of year for a different reason.
With Samsung launching their new range of high spec tech last month - the Flip7, Fold 7 and the Watch8 - many savvy shoppers have been waiting for the price of their other devices to go down in price. With a range of different retailers hosting discounts and monthly spending plans, now is the best time for shoppers to have a look around.
One cracking deal we found is on the Samsung Galaxy Watch7, which was only released in 2024 and was the tech brand's flagship smartwatch until the Watch8 was released on July 25. While the gadget retails for £239 outright, Sky's monthly deal means shoppers will only need to spend pennies each day on the device.
Sky is currently offering the 40mm version of the Watch7 for only £9 per month through a 36-month contract. When broken down this means that shoppers will only need to pay 30p a day towards their latest tech device, which will be up to date with all Samsung's latest features.
However, while this plan has zero per cent interest rate with no surprise price hikes to hit mid-contract, this plan will add an extra £95 to the overall cost of the smartwatch compared to paying for it outright, reports the Manchester Evening News.
It should also be noted that Samsung describes the Watch7 as more of a fitness and wellness tracker rather than a traditional smartwatch. However, this doesn't mean the device will only track your health and fitness, as shoppers will still be able to access their calls, texts and other notifications through the gadget.

Product Description
Featuring an improved dual GPS system, this watch is perfect for those who enjoy running and cycling as they can upload their data to specialist apps such as Komoot and Strava. Additionally, users will also be able to track their blood pressure, ECG and heart rate at all times.
One important feature that will help users prioritise their health is what Samsung is calling an 'energy score'. By compiling data collected from your heart rate and sleep, this feature will roughly let you know how energised you are at different points of the day. This can help users decide whether completing a workout is a good idea or not.
For those not fussed about all of the high spec features that come with fitness trackers, many shoppers have instead chosen to buy a budget smartwatch through Amazon. One popular device with nearly 18,000 ratings is the RUIMEN Smart Watch. Currently priced at £24.99 (RRP £39.99), this watch comes with all of your standard features.
Alternatively, another popular fitness tracker on the market is the Fitbit Versa 4 Smart Watch. Retailing at £129.99 on Argos, this watch comes with a battery life of up to six days and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Many shoppers are still raving over the Galaxy Watch7 on Amazon, where it currently boasts a 4.4 star rating.
One delighted shopper said: "Great piece of kit. Ive previously owned many watches, including apple watches. Have to say this is the best of the lot... works great as a health tracker too. Love the health app too."
While another five-star reviewer added: "This is a great watch from samsung, well designed with many different functions installed. Works well with my Samsung Galaxy S21 phone, and interacts perfectly with the Samsung Health app. The battery is good under constant use, normall lasting around three days."
However, one shopper did caution: "It's brilliant, just make sure you use power saving mode."
With another customer leaving a mixed review: "The watch itself is sleek, and the features are solid, but I do wish there were more apps available for it. As someone who's used both Galaxy Watches and an Apple phone, I can't help but feel like the app selection is better on the iPhone side."
Despite this, a fifth shopper wrote: "Great watch with good range of inbuilt functions. 40mm is very light, do not notice on wrist comfortable band. Better battery life than watch3, fast charge up. What's not to like."

Samsung shoppers rush for 30p a day Galaxy Watch7 deal
Samsung is having a busy period, launching a new range of folding phones this summer, as well as introducing the Watch8 to its smartwatch line-up. However, the release of the new watch has led to a price drop for last year's model, the Galaxy Watch7, which remains highly competitive in 2025. The Watch7 can be purchased directly from Argos starting at £239, but there's an opportunity to acquire the watch for pennies per day if bought through Sky. The website offers the 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch7 for a monthly fee of £9. This deal is based on a 36-month contract, meaning customers will pay a £95 premium compared to buying the watch outright. However, the contract carries a 0% interest rate with no hidden mid-contract price increases. Samsung markets this smartwatch more as a fitness and wellness companion than a traditional smartwatch. While it still displays time and phone notifications, it also provides comprehensive activity and biometric tracking. Runners and cyclists will value the improved dual GPS system for more precise tracking during outdoor activities - perfect for uploading to Strava or Komoot. The included heart rate sensor, ECG, and blood pressure monitor all contribute to daily health and fitness monitoring, reports the Manchester Evening News. Samsung has also developed an algorithm that utilises data to provide users with an 'energy score'. By analysing heart rate and sleep data, it can give owners a rough idea of how energised they might feel on any given day, aiding them in deciding whether to go for that run or not. If you're not so bothered about all the additional health tracking features and just want a basic smartwatch, the Nothing Watch Pro 3 might be up your street. It's available at Amazon for £99. Alternatively, some shoppers swear by the Amazfit Active 2, which has plenty of the same fitness tracking features for a smaller price tag. It's on sale at Amazon for £109.90 instead of the usual £129.90. Reviews for the Galaxy Watch7 are beginning to flood in on Amazon, with the device earning a 4.3-star rating so far. One customer titled their review 'best smart watch on the market at the moment', as they said: "Value for money, it's a no-brainer, especially if you find it at a discounted price." Another customer wrote: "Great piece of kit. I've previously owned many watches, including Apple watches. I have to say this is the best of the lot. It works great as a health tracker, too. I love the health app, too." Meanwhile, a third user added: "The strap is really comfortable and big enough for a large-wristed chap like myself." However, some purchasers say the timepiece is hampered by disappointing battery performance. They said: "So far it's been a good watch. Light, stylish and with all the features you can expect from a modern smartwatch. "But as I mentioned, the battery life lasting 2 days is just rubbish, so fed up with the charging hassle," reads one review. Another agrees, stating: "It is not so much the battery drain which is the issue for me as I can squeeze 2 days use out of it (with a lot of the features switched off). The major issue I have is the time it takes to recharge. "My watch was at 37% this morning, when I put it on the charger, it told me that it was going to take over 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully charge. No use for me."

London broadband users can beat Sky and Virgin prices with £20 offer
Community Fibre's flash sale ends at 11:59 tonight Those living in or around London looking for a cheaper broadband price to lock in might be in luck. Community Fibre has launched a new deal, and it beats rivals including Sky and Virgin Media. For £20 a month, shoppers can get 500mb/s download speeds through Community Fibre, and for an additional £5 a month, they can get 1Gbps download speed - perfect for heavy downloading and gaming. When shoppers compare it to Virgin Media or Sky, it works out cheaper. For example, Sky offers 900mbs for a £39 a month while Virgin Media offers 500Mbs download speeds for £29.99 a month. The only catch is that Community Fibre is only available for London homeowners or renters around the capital. However, there is a time limit as the deal finishes today, at 11:59pm this August 5. Community Fibre offers the package with no set-up fee, a free router, and only a £2 yearly increase in bills. That means that in April next year, users will only pay £22 a month compared to other companies that can hike the prices even more. Alternatively, PlusNet is offering shoppers a free £75 reward card with its broadband packages, with prices starting from £24.99 a month. There's also Vodafone, which has competitive broadband deals for most people around the country, and Vodafone will pay up to £100 to cover cancellation fees. Community Fibre also has great Trustpilot reviews from shoppers. One reviewer said: "We have recently bought Community Fibre Broadband and the performance is great. The broadband is fast, and the range of the WiFi signal covers a good distance. "The signal reaches every corner of the house, giving good reception to the internet. We are satisfied with the service provided by Community Fibre. "It is worth it, and the speed we are receiving is 150 Mbps, which is super fast. The internet has not stopped or had any issues so far." Another reviewer added: "I have been with Community Fibre for nearly three years. They have outstanding internet, outstanding staff, and wonderful customer service." However, some shoppers did complain about installations feeling rushed. One reviewer who left four stars said: "I felt the installation was slightly rushed. "It would have been better to have a more explanation as to how the mesh system works, best practices and the WiFi signal tested through the house. The installer has also left a bunch of cables at the bottom of the telephone post".
