Christian Joseph, the 8-year-old better known as "The Rizzler," has taken the internet by storm. He's got a large following on social media, is known for his distinct facial expressions and is a huge New York Knicks and Mets fan. Despite his massive rise to popularity -- he has more than 1 million followers on Instagram -- there was at least one Hollywood star that wasn't familiar with his charisma.
The Rizzler attended the New York City premiere of the new Marvel movie, Thunderbolts*, dressed like David Harbour's character Red Guardian. He got a chance to meet the stars of the movie, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine).
Turns out, the former Seinfeld actress had absolutely no clue who she was meeting.
"No offense to that nice child, but I didn't know who he was," Louis-Dreyfus said in an ensuing interview.

This feels like the plot to a Seinfeld episode, which is high praise.

Video: Puppy's First Haircut Is a ‘Great Success' & Here's How It Went

Pet parents know that their furry babies are afraid of going to the barber's or getting a trim – that and bath time. But this little puppy, a tiny Golden Retriever from California, appeared extremely enthusiastic about his first haircut in an adorable Instagram video that has since gone viral and charmed many. The pup named Hugo sat on the salon chair, almost looking like an adult, behaving himself, and trying to stay still while the barber faked chopping his fur. We can fairly deduce that this new adventure was a 'great success.' This little Golden guy went for his first haircut, exhibited gentleman-like behavior, and won the hearts of many, along with endless praises. In a delightful Instagram video, a puppy named Hugo found his way to a salon and ended up getting a fake trim, which was a complete success in his opinion. It may be true that our furry friends fear going to the barber's, but Hugo proved he's not a little boy anymore and flaunted his bold side and big moves in the post. In the clip, the Golden Retriever pup sat on the salon chair as he geared up for his first haircut session. Unlike other pooches, he seemed totally amped for the barber to dive right into the job and make his look even more dashing. Meanwhile, Hugo's owner captured the thrilling moment of him showing off the biggest grin on his face without a hint of fear. The subtext also conveyed his inner thoughts, 'I want get crimpy hair on my ears.' A lot of smiles, occasionally checking up if his hair looked okay, and a little bit of chaos summed up the puppy's haircut video. While the barber pretended to chop off the little guy's fur, he conducted himself with grace and dignity while trying his best to stay as still as possible. The final results? A 'handsum' and fluffy boy, who did his owner proud and even received love and compliments from the other hoomans. Commenters promptly highlighted how 'handsome,' 'well behaved,' and 'grown' Hugo looked in the video. Meanwhile, a few more pointed out that the Golden Retriever appeared 'so fancy' and 'beautiful.' 'Liver King' Arrested in Austin After Bizarre Joe Rogan Comments

The social media and fitness influencer known as the "Liver King" was arrested in Austin, TX. That's according to KXAN-TV, which reported that the "Liver King's" real name is Brian Johnson, and jail records showed him in custody on the evening of June 24. The jail records obtained by Men's Journal online do confirm that a Brian Johnson is being held on a potential charge of making terroristic threats. He was booked at 7:31 p.m. on June 24 by the Austin Police Department, the jail records say. Sources told KXAN that the Johnson on the jail list is the same person as the "Liver King." The Liver King was featured on Untold: The Liver King on Netflix. "He built a supplement empire by devouring raw meat on social media. And he had the muscles to prove it. But, really, how did the Liver King get so huge?" the Netflix caption reads. The nature of the alleged threats is not clear, nor is the person they were made against. However, the "Liver King" recently posted about Rogan: "Joe Rogan, I'm calling you out, my name's Liver King. Man to man, I'm picking a fight with you. I have no training in Jiu-jitsu, you're a black belt, you should dismantle me. But I'm picking a fight with you. Your rules, I'll come to you, whenever you're ready.' It's not clear whether the Rogan comments have anything to do with the Liver King's arrest, though. The Liver King has 2.9 million followers on Instagram. The top video on the Liver King's page shows a man in a police uniform. Another video starts with the narration, "I'm now recording with the cops outside." A video was captioned, "Liver king is stood in a shower pouring coffee up his arse picking a fight with Joe rogan before GTA 6." Another video also referenced Rogan.'Liver King' Arrested in Austin After Bizarre Joe Rogan Comments first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 25, 2025

Pet Owner Says This 'Should Be the Standard' When Walking Dogs

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A dog owner has shared what she believes "should be the standard" for dogs when walking off-leash in a viral video on Instagram. Maria Morgana, 36, lives with certified therapy dog Hudson, a 3-year-old golden retriever who has gone viral for his great off-leash skills. In a video posted under the handle @hudsonstaysgolden, Morgana showed off Hudson's leash walking on a busy sidewalk as he stayed stuck to his owner's side, focus completely on her, until he was given the word that he could move further. "POV: This should be the standard," Morgana, who lives in North Bergen, New Jersey, captioned the post, sparking conversation about modern dog ownership and the importance of having good control over your pet in public. "The video wasn't something I planned," Morgana told Newsweek. "We walk like this all the time. But I posted it because I think a lot of people underestimate what calm, connected walking can look like—especially without a leash." Hudson showing off his walking skills in the viral video. Hudson showing off his walking skills in the viral video. @hudsonstaysgolden/Instagram Morgana emphasizes that the video wasn't meant as a critique of others. Instead, she hopes it inspires dog owners to consider the role of relationship-building in training. "Off-leash walking isn't where training starts. It starts at home—through daily habits, play, and trust," she said. "Hudson's not just trained, we're deeply bonded. That's what keeps him close—not a leash." With 1.9 million views, the video sparked praise from viewers who were pleased to see a dog walking so well in public. "Respecting public space matters. Reactive dogs deserve patience and distance, not judgment or confrontation. People let their dogs off and assume it'll be fine. That's not the standard we should accept," Morgana said. Research shows that many pet owners don't have the control Morgana does over their dogs. A 2021 survey of over 2,000 pet owners found that more than 82 percent of owners said their dogs pull on a leash. While another 2022 survey found that 80 percent of dog owners struggle with their dog's recall off leash. "I wouldn't expect all dogs to walk like that off-lead. Personally, I love to see dogs being dogs: sniffing, exploring, and engaging with their environment. My own dog is often off-lead, happily sniffing bushes or having a wee," Rachel Rodgers, pet behaviorist at Napo Pet Insurance, told Newsweek. "Not every dog is going to walk perfectly in step, and that's totally normal. What really matters is that your dog responds to you, has a reliable recall, and an effective emergency stop. They don't need to have their nose in line with your toes at all times—that kind of precision mainly serves the human, not the dog. At the end of the day, your dog's safety, wellbeing, and happiness are what truly count." When asked how others might achieve similar results, Morgana keeps it simple: "Start with play. Become your dog's favorite thing. Work on neutrality. Reward calmness. Learn what motivates your dog." Hudson's walk has since sparked hundreds of positive comments from dog lovers and trainers alike. "This is beautiful!" said one viewer. "If only everyone would be able to do this before letting their dog off leash." While another said: "Can we hire him? For his brothers and sisters out there that need some training." "Lovely interaction and bonding between you two!" wrote another Instagram user. Morgana clarified that her video wasn't meant to shame dog owners, but to educate what can be done with the right training. "There's no one-size-fits-all," she said. "But dogs are capable of incredible things when we meet them halfway." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share?
