Teyana Taylor Attends King's Trust Gala Wearing Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela's Xrismarteen Boot

Yahoo02-05-2025

Teyana Taylor dressed up for the King's Trust Gala in New York City on Thursday in a combination of luxury items, donning a David Koma animal print coat, Schiaparelli accessories and unique boots from a collaboration by Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela.
The 'A Thousand and One' actress specifically wore David Koma's Zebra Print Trench Coat, a vibrant midi-length garment with a removable overlay at the shoulders which Taylor chose to keep as part of the look. The coat was cinched at the waist with a Schiaparelli belt featuring a large sculpted gold buckle and dangling charms associated with the surrealism-inspired label — an ear, for example, could be seen at her waist. Taylor also wore a mismatched set of earrings from the brand, introducing hints of blue to her ensemble.

Blending in with her zebra print coat, Taylor donned a pair of stiletto boots from the collaboration between Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela which dropped earlier this year. She wore the Xrismarteen style, which is described on Christian Louboutin's website as 'Illustrating the memory of gesture through a hand-distressed effect.' The shoes are made with nappa leather and feature a pointed toe in addition to a 100 mm heel.
In addition to Taylor, Jenna Ortega is another celebrity to have worn one of the styles in the collaborative capsule collection showcasing the decortiqué design method, which allows for the inner layers of the shoes to be seen. Ortgea donned the Bilougiela pump for a screening of 'Death of a Unicorn' in March.

Taylor Swift Dance Wedding Video with Travis Kelce Reveals Unmatched Vibe

Taylor Swift Dance Wedding Video with Travis Kelce Reveals Unmatched Vibe originally appeared on Athlon Sports. One thing we know about Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is that he likes to have fun, and it appears he's found the perfect partner to have said fun with: Taylor Swift. Having been dating for over two years, Travis and Taylor hit their first rough patch after the Super Bowl loss and retreated out of the public eye. However, over the past week, it seems they are slowly re-emerging, with the pair spotted on a date night and, most recently, at Travis' cousin's wedding in Tennessee. We have seen pictures of the pair celebrating the wedding, and now, a video has emerged of the couple watching on as the bride and groom shared what we think was their first dance. In the video posted to social media Kelce and Swift were seen dancing and grooving in their seats, with Travis noticeably having his hand on Taylor's knee/leg the whole time. The vibes are unmatched. Often unable to go anywhere without a host of fans swarming them and cameras going off everywhere, the wedding felt like a welcome change of pace for the high-profile couple. It was a relaxed atmosphere; guests didn't crowd the couple, making it uncomfortable. Instead, both Travis and Taylor were able to do their own thing and pose for photos with guests and others. Hence, that is likely why they felt like they could be themselves and have a good time because they didn't have to worry about being swarmed. And it shows, with Taylor and Travis finally able to act like a "normal" couple in public and enjoy spending time together. Teyana Taylor Makes the BET Awards Her ‘Escape Room' in Fiery Performance

After ending her five-year hiatus from music this month, Teyana Taylor took the stage at the BET Awards to perform her latest single 'Long Time' and a seemingly unreleased track on an artful and complex set. Her performance began in front of a backdrop of skyscrapers in flames. Wore red from head to toe as she glided across the stage to a new track where she sings, 'It's cold outside, but inside I'm on fire.' Then, actor Taraji P. Henson made a surprise appearance as a narrator, floating from near the ceiling in a floor-length white gown. Alluding to Taylor's forthcoming concept album Escape Room, Henson warned, 'Even love is something you must escape.' Next, Taylor performed 'Long Time' while floating herself, wearing a silver, robotic getup surrounded by long, loose cables. She commanded a troupe of over a dozen dancers on the ground while she danced in the air, and sparks flew from the ceiling. Of course, Taylor has had a long and sweeping career, from choreographing Beyoncé's 'Ring the Alarm' music video at just 16 years old, to signing with Pharrell's Star Trak imprint before a stint with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. music, too. She also has had a celebrated career as an actor, starring in the critically acclaimed film A Thousand and One in 2023 and with a turn next to Leonardo DiCaprio in One Battle After Another, coming soon. Last week, Taylor announced her fourth album, Escape Room, which is due out in August. It marks her first album in five years, following The Album from June 2020. Actors Aaron Pierre and Lakeith Stanfield star in the music video for the Escape Room single 'Long Time' that Taylor released last week. Billy Bob Thornton Says He Didn't Expect ‘Landman' to Be 'This Successful' and Teases Season 2

'We knew it was going to be successful — we didn't know it was going to be this successful,' Billy Bob Thornton admits of the reaction to his Paramount+ series Landman. The Taylor Sheridan-created show ranked among the top 10 original streaming series during the fourth quarter of 2024, debuting as Paramount+'s biggest premiere in two years, and continued to gain steam through its finale in January. 'It's amazing, we're so proud,' Thornton told The Hollywood Reporter at a Emmy FYC event for the show on Sunday of the show's reception. 'We love the people we work with and so we're proud for everybody involved.' As for reading where season two is going, the star said, 'I loved it. Taylor knows this show very well, he's got a vision for it so it's pretty easy. I didn't expect to read it and go, 'Wait a minute, hang on here.' It was great.' Season two will also see Sam Elliot join as a series regular — 'It's been awesome, I've known Sam since the '80s so he and I go way back,' Thornton said — as well as a return for Andy Garcia's character, who shook up the season one finale. 'He'll be more of a part of it this year for sure,' Thornton confirmed of Garcia, adding, 'Andy and I go way back too, first time working together though.' Garcia was tight-lipped on what season two would have in store for him, joking only 'I'll be there' and that the new scripts are 'Beautiful, just beautiful. The writing is always so strong.' Co-stars Ali Larter, Demi Moore and Jacob Lofland were also in attendance at the L.A. event, with Lofland revealing that after the success of the show, 'it's a whole new life over the last eight months.' The actor, who plays Thornton's son, also noted that as they film season two 'we're kind of slowing down a touch to keep from having heatstrokes' due to the summer heat in Texas and that reading the new episodes has been 'absolutely amazing. Same as the first, you get Taylor's scripts and it's like picking up a book that you can't put down.' Moore returns in an elevated role for season two. Michelle Randolph, meanwhile, who plays Thornton's onscreen daughter, just landed a role on the big screen with Malibu, a horror thriller Tod Williams is directing for Screen Gems.
