Kim Woodburn's loyal husband
Kim Woodburn, who tragically died at the age of 83 after a short illness, has left behind her loyal husband Peter Woodburn. While Peter, a former policeman, stayed out of the spotlight during Kim's infamous TV career, the couple were married for over four decades.
The How Clean Is Your House star tragically died on Monday, and her beloved husband of 46 years, Peter, with who she lived in their Cheshire home, is "heartbroken" over the loss of his soulmate.
Kim and Peter tied the knot in 1979 after 4 years of dating. This was Kim's second marriage after her first marriage to Kenneth Davies ended in divorce in 1975. Kim and Peter, who didn't have any children together, spoke fondly of one another in candid chats and interviews.
Kim also openly discussed aspects of their personal life in a now-deleted Instagram Live session, where she shared that they maintained an active sex life, stating, 'I get it three times a week. My husband is a very active man. He is a beast. A beast', as reported in the Daily Star.
Peter has also occasionally featured alongside Kim on television as they both appeared on Channel 4's A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun in 2016. They were on the hunt to purchase a holiday home in the Costa del Sol to use during the winter months to escape the cold weather in the UK.
Peter also spoke up in defence of his wife when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017. Kim found herself in a heated argument with some of her housemates, but Peter said she was just being her 'fiery self'.
Speaking to new! Magazine at the time, he said: "She doesn't suffer fools and always tells it as she sees it. There's no half-measure with Kim. It's either full-on love, sympathy and laughter or if it's an argument, it's going to be a full-on, blow your brains out one." She eventually finished in third place on the show after Jedward and the winner, Coleen Nolan.
A representative shared the sad news of her passing, labelling her 'an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person'.
They said: "It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness.
"Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate. We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.
'We kindly ask that Kim's husband and close friends be given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details."

Peter made a rare statement about his ex wife in a scathing Instagram post last night, Thursday, August 14, insisting that their two children, Junior and Princess Andre, have been under his care since 2018 "for their safety" as he publicly dismissed Katie's appeal for a ceasefire. Katie swiftly hit back, with her representatives announcing that the mum-of-five "will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was" and that the matter is "now in her lawyers' hands". The drama erupted after Katie urged her former husband to take part in peace talks with her as their daughter Princess has been 'unfairly' dragged into their feud. Reports have been circulating of issues between the mum and daughter after Katie was absent from Princess' recent 18th birthday party, and was also reportedly banned from appearing on the influencer's new ITV reality show, The Princess Diaries. In 2022, Katie targeted Emily, who has three children with Peter. She posted a magazine cover featuring the NHS doctor on her Instagram Stories, labelling her ex's new wife a " disgusting person". "She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down. "I think you're a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life."
