Deals: Samsung offers Buy and Try program for new Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE

Not sure that a foldable phone is right for you? Samsung and participating retailers like Amazon are letting you take the new Galaxy Z foldables for a spin with the Buy and Try program. This extends the return window to 45-100 days – you can return the phone (in good condition) and get a full refund if you decide that these phones are not right for you.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 also kept its free storage upgrade offer from the pre-order period, though it seems to apply only to certain colors. Also, Prime and Prime Student members can get a £100 discount.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 has an even better offer – in addition to the free storage upgrade and £100 off for Prime members, it also gets 10% off at checkout. In fact, several Samsung models get that, more on them in a bit.
Like its more premium sibling, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE gets the same offer. You may have been tempted to get the old Z Flip6 instead, but right now the FE has the better pricing with these offers.
Check out the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic – you can grab a 10% discount with the GALAXY8 promo code and you will also collect an additional band and a Duo Wireless charger for free (the two are valued at £138). Remember that Samsung went with proprietary bands this generation, so you can't use the standard bands you have. And the charger will let you top up your phone and watch at the same time.
The Google Pixel 9 and 9 Pro have some solid discounts of over 30% at the moment. Check out our Pixel 9 vs. 9 Pro article for a detailed head-to-head comparison. Google Pixel 9 Pro £320 off

Finally, we mentioned that some Samsungs get a 10% discount at checkout. This includes the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Edge flagships (but not the S25 Ultra) and the likes of the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy A56 too. Some have additional discounts on top of that, though not all. You can find the full list here.
We may get a commission from qualifying sales.

Buy at Amazon Sure, $250 isn't exactly cheap, so you might be on the fence about pulling the trigger. But the JBL Xtreme 4 is one of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market, and it's easy to see why. While it's on the larger side, it packs a powerful sound, which makes it a solid choice for big gatherings. In addition, it supports PartyBoost, allowing you to pair it with compatible JBL speakers for an even louder experience. It also comes with a shoulder strap, making it a breeze to carry around. Of course, a speaker of this caliber should also be incredibly durable. That's why our friend here boasts a high IP67 dust and water-resistant rating. This means it's dust-tight and can handle submersion in clean water up to 3.3 feet deep for around 30 minutes. So, essentially, it can go wherever you go—whether that's the beach, a pool party, or just a rainy day—without getting its battery can last up to 24 hours on a single charge, and the speaker can even act as a power bank to charge your phone. This way, you'll enjoy a full day of music and never have to worry about your phone suddenly dying on you when you're with your fancy speaker. Overall, the JBL Xtreme 4 is truly a great buy at its current price on Amazon. So, don't hesitate! Save while you can!

Galaxy Watch 8 users are frustrated by a surprisingly basic flaw

The Galaxy Watch 8 was just released with very impressive looks and specs. Unfortunately, though, it seems it's not perfect as many would wish it to be, and Samsung may have overlooked a tiny (but basic) element of the wearable's design. Many people are complaining about a relatively small but annoying thing that it seems Samsung didn't take into account when designing the Watch 8. Samsung fans have taken to Reddit to express their frustration. It seems that the smartwatch doesn't sit right on its own charging pad. More specifically, the 44mm Galaxy Watch 8 doesn't lie flat on Samsung's Wireless Charger Duo, and many users are not on board with that situation. The Watch 8 doesn't lie flat on the charger. | Image Credit - Luxkeiwoker on Reddit The Redditor who opened the post is even looking for a refund over what they state was a "stupid" design flaw. There are also plenty of other Galaxy Watch 8 buyers joining in the thread with similar concerns. Some people are concerned about slower charging speeds and even increased heat, caused by the smartwatch not sitting right on the charger. One person even observed that PowerShare from Galaxy phones doesn't work reliably with this timepiece either. People have found creative ways to get over the issue. | Image Credit - gabby131 on Reddit Unfortunately, it seems the strap design of the Galaxy Watch 8 wasn't made with this specific wireless charging pad in mind. Or any other charging pad where the timepiece is expected to sit relatively flat. In fact, the default rubber band curves down quite sharply, which prevents the device from resting flat on the pad. Unfortunately, this makes charging it more difficult. For a premium smartwatch like the Galaxy Watch 8 , that's a pretty big design flaw, in my opinion, and I understand why so many people are calling Samsung out about it. I'd expect the company to pay attention to the most basic aspect of any device - charging - and to ensure it would sit right, at least on the chargers the company itself is offering.

Motorola is selling the affordable Razr (2025) foldable at an irresistible price in all colors

Are you having trouble justifying a Galaxy Z Flip 7 or Z Flip 7 FE purchase, especially with the two new Samsung clamshells no longer available at their substantial pre-order discounts? Then why not go for an Android flip phone from Motorola instead? You could get the state-of-the-art Razr Ultra (2025) with 1TB storage at a lower-than-ever (but still pretty high) price, for instance, or settle for a humbler Razr (2025) model and spend as little as $599.99 right now. Yes, Motorola's non-Plus and non-Ultra 2025 foldable is marked down by 100 bucks from an already exceptionally reasonable $699.99 list price at the time of this writing, and if you hurry, you can even choose from four different colorways at the exact same discount. $100 off (14%) 5G, Unlocked, 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, 6.9-Inch Foldable LTPO AMOLED Display with 2640 x 1080 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, 3.6-Inch P-OLED Cover Screen with 1066 x 1056 Pixel Resolution and 90Hz Refresh Rate Support, IP48 Water and Dust Resistance, 50 + 13MP Dual Rear-Facing Camera System, 32MP Front-Facing Camera, 4,500mAh Battery, 30W Wired and 15W Wireless Charging Capabilities, Four Color Options Buy at Motorola In theory, the unprecedented Motorola Razr (2025) sale should run until the end of the week, although depending on your demand, one or several of those eye-catching Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Pantone Parfait Pink, Pantone Spring Bud, and Pantone Lightest Sky hues could well go out of stock earlier... or even a lot earlier. Compared to the $899.99 Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Motorola's $599.99 "vanilla" Razr (2025) incredibly offers more screen real estate (both as far as the primary and secondary displays are concerned), as well as more battery juice and even faster charging. Are any compromises made to achieve that absolutely unbeatable price point? Obviously, and our comprehensive Motorola Razr (2025) review puts the focus on just a few of them, including unremarkable overall system performance, underwhelming camera quality, and sluggish storage speed. But did I mention that you get a massive 6.9-inch foldable screen and a more than respectable 3.6-inch cover display for the price of a non-foldable Android mid-ranger? Now how could you possibly turn down such a phenomenal money-saving opportunity on such an impressively feature-packed product?
