One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Miss World Humanitarian Award to actor Sonu Sood. Sharing a photo, the actor's wife Sonali Sood wrote, 'Youngest ever humanitarian award at the global platform. Proud of you.'

The 72nd Miss World marked Telangana's first time hosting the prestigious event. It was also the third time India has hosted the pageant, following previous editions in 1996 and 2024.
The 72nd Miss World winner Opal Suchata Chuangsri received a prize money of Rs 8.5 crore on Saturday.
