Apart from the design, the manufacturer has also focused extensively on the tech used on the machine. So much so that it can be called the most feature-rich bike that will roll out of Royal Enfield's factory. It will have a round touchscreen display, which will enable tons of features like voice control, connectivity, and more. To make it work, the brand has Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor. At the time of showcasing, Mario Alvisi, Chief Growth Officer of Electric Vehicles at Royal Enfield, claimed that the bike would have the most advanced features.

KTR is fully aware of this, yet he continues to mislead the people of Telangana with baseless allegations." He pointed out that the Centre approved a 50% subsidy under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) for the Kaynes project in Sanand, Gujarat. The 76,000 crore ISM scheme was designed to promote semiconductor manufacturing in India, and once it became known that units in Gujarat would automatically qualify for a 50% subsidy, semiconductor firms naturally gravitated toward the state. For its 3,307 crore investment, Kaynes received an extraordinary 1,654.5 crore subsidy from the Centre. The Gujarat govt added another 40% of the central subsidy amounting to 661 crore, bringing the total subsidy package to approximately 2,314.9 crore, or nearly 70% of the project's cost, the minister said. He criticised the Centre for failing to extend similar support to other states, claiming that only Gujarat receives such "stepmotherly favoritism." He added, "Semiconductor companies are naturally drawn to Gujarat because of the clear message that the state will fully support central subsidies. He also called for a reduction of taxes and the complete removal of cesses on petrol, diesel, and LPG. He said the practice of collecting cesses instead of taxes was a deliberate strategy to bypass revenue sharing with states. "This is not just unjust — it is undemocratic," KTR added. The BRS working president wrote a letter to the Centre ahead of the upcoming GST council meeting, criticising the Modi-led administration for what he called "headline management through hollow announcements" instead of addressing core economic issues faced by ordinary Indians. In particular, KTR slammed the Centre's recent media campaign around the removal or revision of the 12% GST slab, calling it a diversionary tactic meant to overshadow the crippling burden imposed by fuel prices and unjust taxation policies over the last decade. He said the Centre was aggressively promoting the idea that removing the 12% GST slab would bring a 'real Diwali' to the people. But for a govt that consistently raised petrol, diesel, and LPG prices — collecting lakhs of crores from the public — "this is nothing more than propaganda", KTR said. Reiterating the long-standing BRS demand, KTR asked the Centre for complete removal of GST on handloom products, asserting that the handloom sector was not just an economic contributor but also a custodian of India's cultural heritage.

TN seeks 4,850 crore Central funds for rural infrastructure, fisheries
Chennai: State govt on Tuesday urged BJP-led Centre to disburse 4,850 crore fund for state's rural and fishing infrastructure development. State finance minister Thangam Thennarasu, along with DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, met Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman ahead of the Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting in Delhi, and placed the demand. The meeting scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday is expected to discuss GST reforms. Thennarasu submitted a memorandum from chief minister M K Stalin to Nirmala Sitharaman, seeking the release of 4,500crore under NABARD's Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) and 350crore under Fisheries Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF) for FY 2025-26. RIDF funds will be used to improve rural infrastructure through various projects, while FIDF funds will be allocated for expanding Colachel fishing harbour in Kanyakumari.
