As per Manjeek Kaur, president of the association, a committee, including members of the nursing cadre, has been constituted to expedite the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for Senior Nursing Officers (SNO).
An additional policy-making committee has been formed to address and restructure the existing night duty system for better equity and welfare. 'I extend my sincere thanks to every member of our nursing cadre who stood by the association with strength, resolve, and discipline. As we have always maintained, we are open to dialogue. Being healthcare workers, we deeply understand that our work revolves around someone's life and loved ones. We do not choose to protest unless we are left with no other option. We hope the administration will now act with the sincerity this moment calls for,' said Kaur.

Dr Kaur added that SPF is another essential step to protect against UV damage and maintain an even skin tone under makeup. A primer can also be layered last to create a smooth base and act as a protective barrier between skincare and makeup. 'We also see the thoughtful use of a jade roller and Gua Sha, both of which help enhance circulation, reduce puffiness, and gently sculpt the face, prepping the skin for a smoother makeup application,' said Dr Kaur, further advising using authentic stone tools, as plastic alternatives lack the cooling effect and can cause unnecessary friction. Always glide these tools in gentle upward strokes with adequate facial oil to avoid tugging or microtears, she said. 'While under-eye patches are a great addition to her routine, for more consistent and long-term benefits, incorporating an eye cream with ingredients like caffeine, hyaluronic acid, or peptides, applied twice daily, can help reduce puffiness, improve hydration, and visibly smooth fine lines over time,' mentioned the expert. 'It's also great to see neck moisturization included, as this often-overlooked area shows early signs of aging and benefits from the same actives used on the face. Include targeted treatments such as peptides, retinol, or firming serums formulated for the neck area,' said Dr Kaur. For optimal results and to prevent further damage, consult a board-certified dermatologist who can guide you on the right interventions based on your skin's needs. Finishing with a nourishing lip balm helps prevent flaking and ensures lipstick goes on evenly and comfortably. For daytime routines, Dr Kaur recommended choosing a balm with SPF to protect the delicate lip area from UV damage, which can lead to pigmentation and premature aging. Apply a generous layer during your prep, allowing it to deeply hydrate, and gently dab off any excess before applying lip makeup to an optimal finish. The HC observed, 'Thematerial placed before this court, including the financial analysis chart submitted with the FIR, reveals a substantial and prima facie unjustified increase in wealth during the check period.' The court found the defence's arguments regarding anarbitrary check period unpersuasive, particularly in light of overall financial inflows and Kaur's alleged involvement in two other criminal cases, including one under the NDPS Act. Justice Kaul further noted that explanations offeredby Kaur's counsel regarding alternative income sources, such as brand endorsements or social media monetisation, were neither substantiated nor supported by credible evidence of lawful income generation. Kaur had sought bail in acorruption case registered against her on May 26 at the vigilance bureau police station, Bathinda. She is accused of acquiring assets disproportionate to her known sources of income during a check period from April 1, 2018, to March 31, 2025.
