Dhamar holds speech event to commemorate Wilayah Day

Saba Yemen3 days ago

Dhamar - Saba:
The branch of the General Authority of Endowments in Dhamar province, in collaboration with the Education and Guidance sectors, organized a speech event to commemorate Wilayah Day.
During the event, Faisal Al-Hatfi, Director of the Endowments Office in Dhamar, highlighted the importance of reviving this occasion, which reaffirms allegiance to the guardianship of Allah, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the guiding leaders. He noted that the Yemeni people have celebrated this occasion for centuries, passing down the honor of commemorating it from generation to generation.
Al-Hatfi emphasized that the principle of Wilayah (guardianship) in Islam ensures the steadfastness of the divine path and protects the nation from subversion. He explained, "The guardianship of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) connects us to the guardianship of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which in turn links us to the guardianship of Allah Almighty. This clearly underscores the significance of the principle of Wilayah in Islam."
Al-Hatfi added that the forces of tyranny, represented by the U.S., Israel, and their tools, are mobilizing their vast resources to carry out the largest distortion of human society, aiming to enslave it and impose their dark rule. This embodies the conflict between truth and falsehood, between the believers and the enemies of Allah who have aligned themselves with the forces of tyranny.
For his part, Abdullah Mashrah, Head of the Guidance Sector in the governorate, pointed out that one of the most important manifestations of Wilayah is supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. He noted that the Yemeni people have earned the honor of standing with the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are facing a genocidal crime unparalleled in history.
Mashrah explained that one of the main reasons some Arab regimes have normalized relations with the Zionist entity is their abandonment and denial of the principle of Wilayah.
Meanwhile, Ismail Al-Washli, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, highlighted the efforts of the Zionist Jewish lobby, the U.S., and their affiliates to spread vice, corruption, and oppression, as well as to engineer crises, aiming to make societies easy prey for exploitation and enslavement. This underscores the importance of Wilayah, which safeguards societies from the rule of tyranny.
Al-Washli explained that the principle of Wilayah elevates the nation's awareness and morale to confront tyranny and its tools. He noted that the absence of Wilayah in the Islamic sphere has left it vulnerable to the interference and control of tyrannical forces.

Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine: U.S. Veto confirms direct complicity in Gaza Genocide

Gaza – SABA: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) strongly condemned the U.S. administration's use of the veto at the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday, which blocked a draft resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the PFLP described this move as a brazen continuation of the U.S. role in covering up the ongoing genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people. The statement read: 'It is not surprising that the U.S. administration would take such a position. It is directly participating in the aggression on Gaza by supplying the Zionist enemy with the most lethal internationally banned weapons, while granting it political and legal cover to continue its dirty war against our defenseless people.' The PFLP emphasized that the U.S. veto represents a deliberate insistence by the U.S. administration on direct involvement in the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, making it morally and legally responsible for the massacres and genocide being committed—particularly against children, women, civilians, and the displaced. The group further stated that the American veto is another chapter in the historical hostility of successive U.S. administrations toward the Palestinian people. It exposes the deep moral hypocrisy in American policy, which justifies the crimes of the Zionist enemy and gives it a green light to continue the slaughter. The PFLP held the U.S. fully responsible for this decision and called on freedom-loving people within the United States to stand against these criminal policies and to continue efforts aimed at ending the U.S. complicity with the Zionist entity in the atrocities being committed against the Palestinian people. U.S. Veto Blocks UN Security Council Resolution to Stop Genocide in Gaza

New York – SABA: The United Nations Security Council failed to pass a resolution on Wednesday evening calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, after the United States used its veto power to block the measure. The draft resolution, submitted by several member states including Algeria, Slovenia, and Denmark, called for an immediate halt to hostilities in Gaza. The U.S. veto demonstrated Washington's ongoing support for the Israeli occupation, which continues to commit acts of genocide and daily massacres against the Palestinian people in Gaza. Fourteen out of the fifteen Security Council members voted in favor of the resolution. Only the United States voted against, using its veto to prevent its adoption. With continued American and European backing, the Israeli military has, since October 7, 2023, carried out a campaign in Gaza that has resulted in the martyrdom of 54,607 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and the injury of 125,341 others. These figures remain incomplete, as thousands of victims are still trapped under rubble and in streets unreachable by rescue and medical crews. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
