A thoroughly fry-up dished up at Harry Potter World has sparked considerable outrage amongst Britain's breakfast enthusiasts. Italians witnessing broken spaghetti, elderly Spaniards confronted with poorly cured jamón, French servers dealing with demanding customers - culinary stereotypes and subsequent fury abound.

For Brits, nothing is more guaranteed to infuriate the average person than an American's attempt at assembling a Full Welsh/English/Scottish/Irish breakfast. Combine that with theme park pricing, and you've created the perfect storm for absolute rage.

This precise scenario unfolded during a visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, where an inquisitive American chose to order a traditional fry-up.

The Orlando Informer blog reports that such a breakfast commands $19.99 (£14.81).
Images of the pitiful meal surfaced alongside concerns that the traditional fry-up faces mounting threats to its future.

"American friend went to Harry Potter World in the US and got this abomination," posted one Reddit user, sharing a photograph of a distinctly pale and sorry-looking dish.
On the small, black plate sits a pool of questionable-looking beans, which is spreading around and making contact with other breakfast components on several sides.
These include clammy-appearing mushrooms and, on the opposite side of the dish, grey-hued scrambled egg.

Crowning the mound of letdown sits not only a parched croissant, but a butter sachet.
Pieces of bacon and black pudding seem to lie close by.
Predictably, the responses the post generated were far from compassionate.

"This has managed to insult both English and French breakfast culture simultaneously.
"What's worse is how this was likely overpriced and tasted quite bland," one person wrote.
Another Redditor was so incensed they targeted the culinary skills of most of the globe. "Genuinely, I've never seen good British food outside of the UK and Ireland," they wrote.

"Whether it is a fry up, a roast dinner, a pie, or pasty, or even fish and chips, it's always bastardised and messed up and not very good.
"Whenever you see fish and chips, it's also some poor imitation with a few fish goujons and thin-cut chips. No wonder people think we have bad food!".
A specific concern for many is the butter packet, which seems to have been deposited randomly into the centre of the plate, to settle on whichever greasy breakfast element it happens to choose.

"I'd be mildly frustrated trying to open the greasy/bean juice-covered butter packet," one person noted.
Another asked: "Why is the butter just wazzed in the middle of the plate?"
A significant source of controversy centres around the croissant, which has left numerous people baffled about why it's included and whether it complements the traditional British items alongside it on the plate.

"Personally, it looks great to me. You have a free croissant to pick up and throw at your server and then a full English to take with you when they kick you out," a commenter joked.
