Caitlin Clark's Teammate Posts Unapologetic Video After Wild WNBA Brawl
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham made a winking reference on Friday to an on-court skirmish that involved her slamming an opposing player to the ground.
Tuesday's brawl at the Fever and Connecticut Sun game stemmed from Sun guard Jacy Sheldon becoming physical with Cunningham's teammate Caitlin Clark during a play and poking her in the eye.

The two opposing players engaged in a heated verbal exchange before Clark lightly shoved Sheldon, prompting players from both teams to gather around.

Sheldon's teammate Marina Mabrey came in late and pushed Clark to the ground. Mabrey was fined an undisclosed amount and issued a technical foul, which was later upgraded to a flagrant 2 foul, ESPN's Alexa Philippou reported.
Heads cooled as the game went on, but Cunningham reignited the tension in the fourth quarter, when Sheldon made a steal and bolted toward the other side of the court. Cunningham knocked her to the floor in the last minute.
The Fever player's move led to an all-out shoving match between players on both sides. She was also fined an undisclosed amount for the hard foul.

Cunningham's popularity online surged after her hard foul. As of Friday, she had 1 million followers on TikTok, with many new fans saying they are tuning into games just to watch her.
Cunningham nodded at the hard foul play in a TikTok video, lip-syncing 'Can't keep my hands to myself, I mean I could but why would I want to?' from Selena Gomez's hit song 'Hands to Myself.'
She captioned the video 'it's a joke… the sound was too fitting! happy game day.'
'Girllllllllll, u have become a national treasure off that night alone. Officially a Fever/ Enforcer Sophie fan,' one TikTok user wrote.
'Legend,' popular fitness influencer Joey Swoll commented.

'Do i watch basketball? No. Do i love Caitlin Clark and now Sophie? Yes,' another user wrote.

How Target Field is working to keep Twins fans cool amid this weekend's extreme heat
The Minnesota Twins will be taking on the Brewers in the extreme heat this weekend. With forecasted highs into the mid-90s both days, keeping cool will be top of mind for many. Early morning or late evening will be the best bet for any outdoor exercise. However, the Twins won't have that luxury, as they're set to play right in the middle of the afternoon. "It's going to be a hot one, but you know what, we're equipped for it. "For this weekend only, we're gonna relax that a little bit," said Hodson. "If you wanna bring in a sealed Gatorade or Powerade, something to help you replenish, please feel free to do so." Since Target Field opened in 2010, they've only had 34 games with a first pitch temperatures at or above 90 degrees. The hottest game for the Twins at Target Field was on July 16, 2012 against the Orioles when it was 97 degrees at first pitch. "We'll also have our guest services staff, especially looking out for folks that may be looking like they're struggling with the heat, and be equipped to remove them and put them someplace to cool them down and get them the resources that they need," Hodson said. No matter what your plans are this weekend, if you'll be outside, wear loose, light clothing, and seek shade when possible. Be sure to also check on your elder family and neighbors. WCCO

NFL linebacker Chad Muma returns to his high school, hosts mini-camp for kids living with Type 1 diabetes
An NFL linebacker who grew up in Colorado returned to the high school he attended on Friday. Chad Muma, who plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars, hosted mini-camp for kids living with Type 1 diabetes. It's a cause that's close to his heart; Muma also lives with Type 1 diabetes. It was held at Legend High School in Broomfield. Muma's foundation is called Muma Movement. The camp featured football-inspired skill stations and other activities. The goal was to empower youth living with Type 1 diabetes. "(I want to) let kids know that their condition does not limit them. The diabetes does not limit them or prohibit them from achieving any of the goals that they want to accomplish in their life, whether it's sports or a different profession," Muma said. The camp also included educational sessions for the kids and their caregivers as well.
